Emerald Surf Condo is a 5 story building. This condo is on third floor and overlooks the heated pool. The entire complex has been updated recently. Condo has been recently renovated. Looks great and is comfy. All new tile, new kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, new TVs on wall, new beds. Just beautiful.

The condo is located on beautiful Navarre Beach in the Flordia Panhandle. Located between Destin and Pensacola beach.

This was my 2nd time staying at this property. There were issues I mentioned in February that were still problematic for my October stay. Toilet in master feels as tho it will topple over when you sit on it. Water pressure is not good. This property really needs a good cleaning. I’m not sure it was cleaned before we arrived. The dishwasher was full of dishes and the floors were dirty and sand all over the furniture. I love this location and the balcony is perfect. Everything you need is in this unit but it definitely needs to be cleaned.

Very misleading

I am upset about our stay with this unit. We’ve stayed at various units in this building and never had the issues that we did in this trip. I had read some reviews about the unit being unclean but then saw where the owner was planning a deep clean mid June before our stay. I assumed all would be good. That was my problem, making that assumption. We arrived and when you first open the door the whole unit smells like mold/mildew. It was so offsetting. The rug, when you first walked in, I don’t believe has ever seen soap and water. The walls under the island looked liked things had been spilled and never cleaned. Mold and hair in both bathrooms. We had to clean the bathrooms and washing machine before use because they were that bad. When I contacted the owner he simply had his cleaner call me and told me I could teach him to clean. In the closet where the broom is kept, is a whole broken mirror just left there waiting for an accident I guess. The refrigerator and freezer hasn’t been wiped down, crumbs everywhere. A drink pitcher still in the refrigerator . I am just so surprised, that anyone would think things like this okay. When you sit on the couch the recliner pops out on its own and is very hard to go back. I don’t have a problem with old. I have tons of old things including my own house, but this is not clean and it definitely put a damper on our trip. We did make the best out of it. But, we will never stay here again!! I am really disgusted with this!

I never leave reviews, but I feel so strongly about this condo that I would not want anyone else to have the same experience we did, so here we are.This unit was a disgrace.There was a distinct odor when you enter the condo and it is a musty/moldy smell. There seems to be excess moisture in the condo--paper towels and toilet tissue were damp and limp. Even the sheets were clammy.The smell was so bad that by the time we left, we had to wash all our clothes when we got home, even ones that were not worn as they had taken on the smell.The oven looked as though it had never been cleaned and part of the front panel of the microwave was hanging down.The facing was loose around the inside of the front door. The ceiling fan was dirty and many lights did not work.There was dust and trash underneath the beds and nightstand in the guest bedroom. There was a missing mirror in the master bath.The jetted tub in the master bath was stained on the bottom, the shower curtain mildewed and the jets were filthy. They were covered in black slimy sludge. It was not discolored. You could feel the slime.Neither of the sliding glass doors to the balcony would lock--clearly a safety hazard.I sent the owner a message offering to send pictures but he did not respond.I would never recommend staying in this condo.

Can't beat the price for this kind of view

This isn't a five star resort, but for the price you get the same view which is mostly what we were wanting. It's not filthy, but there is a sort of wet dog odor permeating the room. The building seems to leak when it rains and there is residue on the master tub. All in all, given the price point for the location, this is well worth the booking.

Beautiful Location

We absolutely loved this location. The beach is gorgeous and the pool was great too. It was low 70s during our stay but the heated pool allowed my daughter to still enjoy swimming without being cold. The unit is good. A few small upgrades would make it great. My husband uses a wheelchair and had no trouble getting around the unit. The beach and pool are not accessible but there are a few locations near by that are. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beach Beautiful...BUT.....

This was a disappointing stay. The layout and view is good. But the refrigerator and freezer were grimy, the floors are so chipped they look dirty. We settled in and found the bathroom cabinets, drawers and bathtub (with jets) were just plain nasty! AND the cabinet mirror fell out and made a broken mess of the bathroom. The TV worked about 30% of the time, not acceptable for us. The place is just not taken care of and it needs work. We have no desire to go there again, we even left 3 days early.

Needed to get away

The property was nice everything was great except the weather the first few days was cold. I found out i had stage 4 cancer just before our trip so my wife and I just needed to get away and clear our minds we ended up leaving early to get home for dr appointments but we had a nice time and hope to be able to return.

Beautiful location

The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable. Nicely decorated condo. The living room fan worked but the light fixture did not work. The master bathroom toilet needs fixed. The tank does not fill up like it should. Like I read in another review the floors need a good scrubbing.

Fell asleep to the sound of the surf pounding the white sand beaches

Girlfriend says, "A little slice of heaven." And she had to work remotely from the unit! View, comfort, and feeling of being safe and secure - and heated pool - and beach access from the parking garage downstairs - make this an excellent value. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. Host was responsive, patient, and kind. Would positively stay again.

Perfect location

What a fantastic week my family and I had in Navarre. The Emerald surf is an older building but nice and not over crowded. The pool was great and the location couldn’t have been better. The beach wasn’t crowded and the view from the 3rd floor balcony was the perfect spot. The condo itself did have issues with the in room laundry and the host was quick to let us know after check in and provided us with the information for the onsite laundry, it does cost money. The bathrooms both need a good deep clean. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable as were the recliner and couch in the living room. The AC worked very well. The kitchen had most of what we needed. The balcony was spacious and I spent many hours enjoying the gulf view and listening to waves. It’s a quick couple minutes to the white sand beaches. We did survive our first hurricane with the outer bands of Francine. For the cost of the unit and the amazing location, we would definitely book again.

My 2 sisters and I stayed at this property and it was perfect for us. The property manager was always quick to reply to my questions and so great to work with. We will definitely will be back to stay.

Great Location, Great Property, & Great Owner

This is not our first time staying at this property. We are repeat vacationers to this location and will be in the foreseeable future. The location is awesome with its balcony beach view. The condo is nice. The owner is super quick to respond and easy to arrange check in and check out processes.

Fantastic Location for a Great Family Vaction

This condo has an awesome location for a relaxing family vacation. The beach is fantastic and there is plenty of room to spread out. The condo is a little outdated but it served our family of five comfortably. There were quite a few burned out light bulbs and the plumbing in the master bathroom need some work (tub would not drain and toilet would not flush). Overall, we really enjoyed our trip.

Tile flooring was chipped and dirty looking. The complex itself was average for a small complex with some parking under the building. I will not stay at nor do I recommend this unit.

My property had a complete remodel a few years back. Took out the old 80s bathtub and put in a walk in shower. I for one like the walk in much better. But, if you like bathtub, still have one in the master with jets.
