Beacher's Oceanfront Balcony Suite with onsite Front Desk and Staff

This 2nd floor Balcony Suite has a beautiful view of the ocean, blue sky and white sand beach. you can watch the sunrise and hear the ocean waves from your room. The balcony overlooks the the heated pool. Recently renovated, this suite has a sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, providing comfort for extra guests or just to relax and enjoy the large flat screen TV in the living room area. This condo makes dining in easy, with mood lighting, a mini oven, stovetop microwave and full sized refrigerator -- all the comforts of home. Since this suite is located at the south end of the property, it has convenient access to the bbq area on property as well. This is one of the few units that is tile throughout. There is a luxury king sized bed in the private bedroom and an additional flat screen TV. The bathroom is perhaps the best part of this beach side condo with a jet tub/shower and back lit mirror over the vanity. This is the spot for a little seaside romance or the perfect weekend getaway! NO PETS ALLOWED Minimum age to rent is 21 years old

The man who works the front desk (Andy, I believe) was so kind and answered our questions, and made us feel so welcomed. The housekeeping staff was AMAZING!!The ladies weren't above and beyond. Friendly, made sure we had all we needed every morning. The view was incredible! Having an onsite laundry room also was great. I cant say enough about this place!! We will be back!!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was good. Room was clean and location was great. My only issue was the hot water heater was broke in the room so my family had to take cold showers. I was advised by maintenance I could inquire about changing rooms , but decided not to because we were already settled in. Maintenance also stated that the room was not equipped with a tankless water heater like most other units unless they could have switched out the water heater to fix the problem. I told the office about the issue while checking out and was told sorry, but a partial refund for the inconvenience would’ve went a lot further with my opinion of their customer service.

One night visit

A quaint but perfectly comfortable place to temporarily leave the cares of this world behind you. A small seaside community, with a few phenomenal restaurants at hand. Waves lapping, birds singing, salt in the air, a comfy spot to relax and best of all, no crowds! Great staff

Valentines Day stay

The view was beautiful, that was pretty much the only great thing. Housekeepers do not dust ANYTHING! In order to open slider there were hard blinds ( patio) covered in some splatter and covered in dust. If we wanted to cook using the cookware you definitely couldn’t since pots and pans were rusty from 1989. Seems like an elderly couples get away. Probably the worst part was getting ready to take a shower, great water pressure however 30 seconds of warm water and the shower turned to freezing. I waited about 25 minutes from when my husband first ran the water and the same thing happened to me. I returned keys to lobby and mentioned to clerk about no hot water and she just kind of seemed like she didn’t care. I could have paid the same price to stay at the brand new Renaissance Hotel down the street with hot water, it we wanted to try out one of the VRBO listings. We definitely won’t stay here again.

We Will Be Back!

This room sits right above the pool on the 2nd story with beach views (as you can see in the photos on the website) need I say more? Perfect for watching the sun rise and sun set! As far as the room, AC definitely works lol! Room stayed nice and chilled for this hot summer weather. Bedroom was comfortable, room was clean. No issues at check in or checkout. We will be back!

We had a Great time, ALL employees were friendly and nice and the resort and room Was clean and nice, the only issue we had was the condo was a little small to us and we will probably have to go to a 2 bedroom next time!! But our overall stay was GREAT!!!

Reviewer Comments: With respect to the rental experience:1)The description of the apartment was as pictured2)We had issues with the apartment as listed below - AC in the living room froze up and leaked water all over the living room floor - Tried to use the blender and it smoked and failed - In room safe broken and did not work - Remote control batteries dead and in some cases the wrong size crammed into remotes needing to be researched and repaired - Balcony sliding door locking mechanism was broken and would not lockOn the plus side. When I called the front desk for assistance with the AC they did come out and did a temp fix that eventually failed again. It took 2 days to get the in room safe working and we were able to lock up our valuables. The individuals at the front desk were very cordial and friendly and willing to help!Big Negative: The water main to the building burst and we were without water for most of the day till it was repaired - was not good to come back the beach to get ready to shower/dress to go to dinner and and find out theres no water (OOPS)

We loved the policies of no smoking on the balconies or at the pool. This allowed us to sit outside and breathe in the ocean air. We also appreciated that the pool closes early enough in the evening that we could have dinner and drinks outside and listen to the ocean. The onsite laundry was convenient. The staff were also very friendly. We loved eating at the nearby restaurants, visiting St. Augustine, and watching a rocket launch from the beach from here too. It's in a great location.

Just as advertised

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, the weather was unusually warm for late February-early March. It was sunny and 80’s everyday. What an unexpected treat. We rented a gold unit and it was just as pictured online. It was updated and clean. There is no oven, but there was a toaster oven. We got by just fine for a week. We jokingly called the space our closet. It was perfect for 2 people, but I don’t recommend 4. Sitting on the balcony every morning and watching sunrises was such a treat. The pool is right below the balcony. first I was disappointed, but the people at the pool were respectful and people watching can be entertaining. We watched an employee vacuum the pool everyday and make sure all chairs and tables were in the right spot. The beach is amazing. It’s clean, white, and large, even at high tide. There was no need to worry about red tide. We walked everyday on the beach, which is just a boardwalk away. St Augustine is a delightful city and is 10 miles north of Beacher’s Lodge, a very easy drive. The employees in the office were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Beacher’s Lodge.

The ocean and a great beach only steps away, a welcome sight from winter. Unit was clean, staff at the desk are very personable and help you in any way they can. If you required maintenance they came right away. We enjoyed the sun, fun, Daytona 500 and have booked to come back next year. What a great overall experience! Thank you Beacher's.
