*Please read our important pool heat information to help you have the best vacation possible!*
This property has a pool and spa that can be heated between Labor Day and Memorial Day for an additional fee of $152/night with a minimum of 4 nights. Both the spa and pool share the same heater. In order for the spa to be heated, the pool must be heated as well. When isolating the spa to heat to a higher temperature the pool will be not be heating. It is important to turn off the spa when finished. At least seven days' notice MUST be given for heat to be turned on. If the outside temperature is colder than 55 degrees, the pool will not be able to maintain a warmer temperature. If the pool or spa does not reach your desired temperature but is still warming, refunds will NOT be given.

With its long stretch of beautiful beaches and miles of bike paths, peddling or walking from place-to-place is a breeze. And enjoy dining, shopping, and live entertainment at nearby Coligny Plaza.

2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. A fee of USD 152 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool and pool spa heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Location is amazing! There were no basics besides spices in the kitchen (tin foil, coffee, sugar) but you can easily walk to the store. Outside pool area was not cleaned upon arrival but we think it is because we checked in mid week. Area was cleaned on Saturday. Would definitely stay again!

The best home for a vacation

This home is perfect, clean, has all the amenities, and is a block away from tons of shopping and the beach. This location and house would be very hard to beat.

Family Vacation

This house is in a great location. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to Coligny Plaza. Has lots of beach supplies that are not listed on the website. Would rent again.

Fantastic Location in Hilton Head Island

We loved the location. This property was within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and Coligny Plaza. Pool was refreshing and a nice break from the beach. A life saver with the children.

Great Getaway

Great vacation home for our girls trip! Nice beach feel and enjoyed the pool in the back. Quick walks to the beach, shops and places to eat. The house was clean and well stocked for cooking. Really enjoyed our stay on Hilton Head!

Overall Good Stay

Great location and beach access. Property manager did not have cleaned on time so they were not completed until 7pm. Spa does not get warm at all even following instructions. House has everything you need for a beach stay and would stay again. Vacasa is hard to get a hold of as well.

Great home in a great location

The house was perfect for the 6 of us, my wife and I, our son and daughter-in-law, and 2 young grandchildren. We all loved the private pool and all of the tvs in the house. The kitchen was fully equipped and while we didn’t cook a lot during the week it was easy to whip up a quick breakfast or lunch. The deck and the covered section were well used every evening and the outdoor sound system was great! The location was perfect, a short walk to Coligny with all of the shops and restaurants and only a couple of walks to the beach. The only thing I would add is some instructions on how to use things like the tv controllers, the sound system, etc. Also it would have been nice to know when the trash was being picked up. All in all, this is a great house and I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again!

Awesome Vacation!

The house was better than expected. Beds were very comfortable, very well kept. would have been nice to have the pool lights working. I sent an email but no reply that I saw. We will come back. Great location and convenient to everything we needed.

Great stay

This is a wonderful house that my family and I have been visiting for several years. Great location (walkable to the beach as well as dining/shopping), plenty of room for a big family, and the pool is always a big hit. The new owners have made some nice renovations. This is good, as some things are showing their age. The pool in particular is in need of some maintenance, as the panel that controls the lights and jets was broken, and some of the trim is peeling off the concrete. We put in a maintenance request about the panel with Vacasa on our second day, but there was no follow up. There were also quite a few fruit flies in the kitchen when we arrived. Not a huge deal, but perhaps the cleaning crew can keep an eye out for that when they’re prepping the house for the next guests. Finally, it would be helpful for there to be information in the house regarding the schedule for trash/recycling pickup. All that being said, we really do love this house, and we are sharing this feedback in the interest of ensuring it remains as wonderful as it’s always been for us.

Great house near beach and town

This is a great house. It was clean, had all the necessary amenities, and a great location close to beach and town. We were very comfortable and would return. One issue; you must set up heat for the pool ahead of time. That information was not obvious in confirmation and so when we arrived and the pool was quite cold, we were disappointed. It took 2 days to get the property company to set up the pool company to get heat going. Once heat was up and running, we loved the pool and hot tub and it was a highlight of the house. Just make sure you request it ahead of time!

Second time at this house

We do like this house. It is priced perfectly for the location. Not close to the beach but not too far away. I agree with one of the other reviews as far as the kitchen items. There was plenty of flatware, plates and glasses but definitely need to add to the cooking utensils and update the pots and pans. There is a regular coffee pot, a nice blender and a 2 slice toaster. The refrigerator does seem to keep things colder if they are towards the back. All 3 bedrooms upstairs have closets and dressers. (You may need you own hangers- i think people take them). The Master bathroom is a good size with plenty of counter space and cabinets. The bunk bed room is tight, but it’s perfect for kids or younger adults. The pool is a nice size, it does get a lot of the needles from the trees, but there is a net. It also gets a lot of shade over the pool. The gas grill is a nice size. The table on the upper deck could also use an update. There is no umbrella and it gets really hot up there. The WiFi in the house was very slow. I’m not sure if something was wrong with it or if that’s just how it is. But, your on vacation who needs it, right? I did go to the office to pick up my “welcome packet” there was a huge line, so I left. So glad I did. I went back after hours to pick it up..... a half sheet of paper with some discounts listed with a business card stapled to it. Definitely not worth the trip- save a tree and put it in my welcome email. I hope this sounds positive enough that you would choose this house. I like to be honest. We would definitely stay in this house again.

Amazing home!!

Relaxing week at the beach ☀️

27 Lagoon Road is a great house. Our family enjoyed the pool and screened in porch area. We found it very clean which we appreciated more than anything. The short walk to the beach and Coligny is a bonus. Perfect location. I would suggest update /spruce up some of the kitchen utensils, mixing bowls, frying pans, measuring spoons etc. We spent more time preparing our meals “ in” since we visited during the covid 19 pandemic otherwise we may not have noticed. We would stay at Shirley’s House again.

The house and outdoor area + pool was great for 2 families. Also, the walk to the beach was easy for the kids and was very closed to the local store, so if you needed anything it was a 1 min drive down the road. I highly recommend this property.

Well appointed home with beautiful private pool.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at 27 Lagoon Road. Within easy walking distance of Coligny Plasa this property was clean and well maintained. We loved the secluded pool with the lush back yard.

Good

The kitchen wasn't well equipped. The pots and pans were, few, old and small. The deck had several boards loss sticking up. A hole in the bathroom wall. The pool filter didn't work the first day, they did come fix it but the whirlpool jets were broken. They did order the parts but it wasn't fixed during the week.
