Fourth row home with a pool located near the beach path in Palmetto Dunes!

HILTON HEAD ISLAND. This beautiful Palmetto Dunes home is just a short walk to the beach.

8 steps lead to the entrance of this lagoon-side residence. Off the entrance is a large living area with high ceilings, NEW a sleeper sofa, loveseat, chair, flat screen TV, DVD and large sliders that lead to the pool. The dining room is off the living room and has a seating for six. The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a breakfast table for six.

The master suite has a king bed, flat screen TV, walk-in closet, sliders that lead to the pool deck and a updated private bath with standing shower.

Sixteen steps lead up to the second floor. The second bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen TV, and a private updated bathroom with a standing shower. The third bedroom has a full bed with a flat screen TV, and sliders that lead to a balcony that overlooks the pool. The fourth bedroom features twin beds and a flat screen TV, shares bathroom with the third bedroom which has a shower/tub combo.

The pool area has a large deck with four lounge chair, a table with seating for four and a gas grill. Five Steps from the deck lead down to the path to a private dock and great lagoon views.

This home is just a short walk to the Fazio Golf Course and Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center, and a 8 minute walk to the gorgeous beaches of Palmetto Dunes.

*Free shuttle service through Palmetto Dunes Buggy available April through September.

*Interested in monthly rentals in the off season.

Great place

The house was very comfortable, lots of living and kitchen space. Slight issue with access to the freezer as it was close to the counter.the pool was clean with easy access from the main living space. The people at Island getaway were awesome to work with. Very responsive, informative and accommodating.

Suited our needs

All appointments were good...bed, tvs , kitchen gadgetry, etc... clean. Would like to have been better informed about the heating of the pool as we did not use it for it was too cold. Need a new refridge. All in all good.

Would not recommend

House has a nice layout but it was very dirty and run down. We had issues with ants, cockroaches and spiders. The blinds in the master suite were busted. All the cookware were put away dirty. The wood floors were sticky and the carpets were so stained and worn. The walls had obvious old spills stains that no one bothered to wash off. The patio chairs were broken and were dangerous to sit in. We were extremely disappointed in our stay and expected more. We had been looking forward to this time together as a family as our son just got home from a 9 month deployment. We won’t be back to this house next year.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry there were issues at the house. Did you happen to report any of these issues to the office? We try to get things resolved ASAP. We will absolutely have these items addressed as well as alert the cleaning staff.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful week in HHI. The house is convenient to the beach, but could use some updates. The kitchen layout is awkward. The cabinets are falling apart. The refrigerator sits in a way that you can barely get into the cupboard where plates are stored and the lower drawer doesn’t pull out without scraping the fridge door. Upon our arrival there were many things that cleaning had not taken care of: 1. Someone had spilled something on several walls that wasn’t wiped up. 2. The cold air return was so dirty it had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. 3. The vertical blinds in several rooms are damaged beyond use. 4. There is water damage to the ceiling in the master bedroom 5. The toilet in the master bathroom has a slow leak that causes the tank to run intermittently throughout the night. 6. There were ants and cockroaches in the kitchen 7. Most of the poolside furniture needs repair and is dangerous to sit in On the plus side, the pool is a great size with a huge deck.

3 families shared your home. The Boyd's, Jarvis and Batemans. Plenty of room for 7 adults and a toddler. The pool was great to have as well as the canal for fishing. All the restaurants were close by as well as activities. We had a very relaxing and fun vacation at 21 St. George. It was spacious enough that you could have some quiet time if needed. Wish we didn't have to leave, but reality happens. Mwy be staying here in the future. HH is great but the traffic and green coverage makes it a bit hard to find some places.

St George is Heavenly!!!

This was a wonderful spacious home, with plenty of room for our family. We loved having our own pool and liked that we were only a short distance from the beach by walking or riding bikes. We also loved that we had our own personal parking and plenty of of it!!! The neighborhood was so nice. We enjoyed the big deck around the pool and also being on the lagoon. Out of all the places we have vacationed in Palmetto Dunes, this was by far our favorite!!

September 2020 Stay

The location of the house is perfect for the beach, golfing, dining and shopping. The house was clean to an extent however attention to detail of the home is lacking. Several of the vents need cleaned and several are old with some rust on them. The kitchen cabinets are not very clean and could use a refresh. We placed some packaged food on the counter and ants swarmed them. We killed as many as we could and did not put any food on the counter the rest of the week. We killed 2 cockroaches during the week. We also submitted a complaint for a tray missing on the refrigerator door the first day. They responded asking the make of the refrigerator and I responded with the make and model number. The tray never was fixed during the entire stay. Our week was enjoyable but overall we just can not justify spending $2,300 to rebook this house again in the future unless it gets updated.

August 2020 Stay

This was a family vacation with a great house for us to gather in and enjoy each other’s company and libations. The pool was supplied with tubes, noodles and lounge chair floats in which to relax...or have fun. The kids enjoyed seeing the kayakers on the lagoon besides having a grand time in the pool, especially at nite with the lights. There was an issue with the grill and it was replaced the same day we called. Overall it was a fabulous vacation house!

Great home and pool

The hone was spacious enough for our needs and it has a nice pool. Didn’t care for the musty, ammonia like odor in the home and the kitchen layout was not very conducive for preparing meals.

House is very clean and updated. We did have a few days with no stove to cook but island getaway sent us an apology package and made everything ok. This is our 2nd trip with this company and we will Definitely book with them again. We are looking at booking this same house for our next trip. Loved the pool.

The overall stay was GREAT! Thanks. However a couple things to note: 1. Broken vertical blinds in 2 of the rooms upstairs (another review mentioned these broken blinds - so have not been corrected). 2: There are signs that say Swim at Your Own Risk, however I think there needs to be a sign stating how deep the pool is (safety issue with small children or individuals who may have been in more shallow pools or may not know how to swim). 3. Would be nice to have trash cans in bedrooms as well bathrooms. 4. Trash in the outside bins were full before our arrival and so we had to keep full bags of trash inside until we called to inform property managers. 5. Overall cleanliness could have been better - floors in foyer, kitchen and dining room were sticky in some spots.

Without a doubt one of the most enjoyable vacation we have taken in quite some time. The house was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and especially the pool. The beach, golf course and other amenities were easy to walk to. Thanks folks for making sure the house is well maintained for your guest.

Everything was perfect! I am so grateful that the owners allowed us to change our scheduled week after my father passed away in August. We had a family vacation planned for that September. A bittersweet trip, but we loved every minute. We were able to honor him at his favorite place in the world. He passed down the tradition of the love of HHI!

The house was visibly clean,but not deeply clean. Dishes were put away dirty, dish washer did a terrible job, mouse droppings in the pull out couch and some mattress was eaten also, it just needs some TLC. Water stains on ceiling, some broken blinds, just little things. Location was great, price was good for the size of the house, pool was a good size and the kids loved it. Overall it was a good place and a great vacation

Overall good

House was nicely decorated and in a good location. Air conditioning had issues but was fixed fairly quickly and back deck could use some work. House smelled a bit old but overall a good experience.

Great pool and location with plenty of room for our family.

The home is tastefully decorated and well equipped to entertain kids and adults while having space to have "alone time" if needed! The outdoor area is wonderful with plenty of space to move around. The pool is spacious and deep enough to keep 3 teenage boys entertained. We enjoyed watching birds and an alligator in the lagoon. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, glasses and silverware which is perfect for us as we cook all of our meals. The beach is just an easy walk or bike ride over and the neighborhood is quiet. We take a family vacation to HHI almost every year. The island never disappoints with wildlife and it's beautiful beach. The house worked perfectly for us!

Was a Wonderful Vacation!

We loved everything! The house is furnished so "beachy" - very inviting. The pool is wonderful. Rooms are very spacious and walk to the beach was so nice. This was our first stay on the south side of Palmetto Dunes (had stayed in Hickory Cove and a few others) and we loved it, less congestion, wonderful area to walk in the mornings and then head to the General Store for a newspaper! Our only problem - we had a house guest , a mouse! He loved the pantry. Hope you can caught him before the next renters. Suggest cleaning service cleans the vents - kitchen and entry hall are very bad! It was a wonderful house and our vacation was so very nice!
