This Gulf Shores Vacation Rental is a gulf front 2 bedroom 2 bath unit that sleeps 7. The master bedroom has a King with a semi private bathroom, the guest bedroom has a full and a Twin with a private bathroom and there is a Queen sofa in the living room. This Island Winds East unit offers a full kitchen for ease of cooking your own meals or if cooking is not in your vacation plans then you are in luck because you are also within walking distance to many of Gulf Shores finest restaurants. You also have a washer and dryer in this unit. You have an awesome view from your gulf front balcony of our Gulf Shores sugar white beaches, emerald green waters and the gulf front pool. If you enjoy cooking out there are several charcoal grills located just north of the pool. This is a prime location to be since you are only a few blocks from the main intersection at Hwy 59, especially if you are coming for The National Shrimp Festival or The Hangout Music Festival. FREE WIFI. This Gulf Shores Vacation Condo is located at 333 West Beach Blvd. This is a non-smoking, no pet unit. NO PETS! PARKING PASS MUST BE PURCHASED USING THE PARKING PORTAL. Limit 1 vehicle per unit. No trailers.

Island Winds East has a new registration system for parking passes. The Property Manager will register your reservation and then you will receive an email to complete registration and pay for parking. You will be sent an email with a barcode to provide upon your arrival at Island Winds East in order to retrieve your parking pass. LIMIT ONE VEHICLE.

Very disappointed

The management company was not very accommodating at all. I reached out that morning cause we had a sick child and was hoping they would work with us in an early check in.. they would not at all.. they said they would call as soon as we could get in, at 4 they were suppose to call with details.. never got a call..I had to call them, from there it got worse, took 45 minutes to get in. Finally got in and the condo had not been swept.. table had paper towel under all the legs holding up evenly, dishwasher still had dirty dishes, the sliding glass door was taped and you could barely open it.. picture below, it was a mess.. very outdated from what you pay for it, you could tell no one lived there or had owners, bare minimums.. not even a blow dryer. I have rented off Vrbo but I would never rent from this management company again! Very disappointed!!!

The area was exactly as described, condo its self needs a lot of updates. Sofa and chairs were really stained and the refrigerator racks were rusted and dirty. I always rent from Vrbo and have never been disappointed but this time it was a let down. Overall it was an okay stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was great. The condo was really nice. The only thing that I might suggest is something is up with the AC in the condo. It was very humid and hot no matter what the AC was set to. Not sure if some humidifiers are needed or what. Since it was spring break it wasnā€™t bad, but during the summer months I feel like it would be too humid in that particular condo.

The ceiling fans & vents were full of dust.underneath the beds have not been cleaned in a very long time.the pits and pans had caked food in some of them.The wall outlets behind the 2nd bedroom is a fire hazard & only one of the plugs work !THE SOFA NEEDS TO BE REPACED,MOST UNCOMFORTABLE ON A POSITIVE NOTEWE had a wonderful time! the beds and pillows were wonderful.the bedspreads need updated many stains on them.

After numerous phone calls and many delays on their part, they informed us they could not assist us since we did not wait around for them to remedy the situation, although we waited two hours.

Great location, great view

Location was excellent. Walking distance to The Hangout and shopping. The view from the balcony was awesome. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, but not too bad. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.

But there are things the owner needs to do to keep people coming back.The mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced as does the couch. The place needs a really good deep cleaning( blinds, ceiling fans, walls are dusty, floors are marginally clean.) There is bare wiring in the utility closet(this has got to be a fire hazard) Is there a way to vent the dryer other than into the condo itself? We were happy that the washer and dryer and stove hood had been replaced since last year.

Only a few comments on things that could have gone better. No linens for the couch/bed until I contacted SP twice, the batteries didn't work right in the remote control for the TV(we had to buy batteries) and the toilets were way too low to the ground for folks with knee issues - updated toilets (standard height toilets would have made a great difference). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at these condos since I was 8 years and this year will be my last year. In all my years staying there I have NEVER been charged an additional amount of money after I already paid for my stay (almost a month before the dates) for a parking pass. It has ALWAYS been including in my total I pay before arriving. The front desk lady was absolutely the rudest customer service person I have ever met. She told multiple people while I was in line if they didn't like it they could stay somewhere else. Our room had dirt dishes, pictures knocked off the walls and gnats flying all in the kitchen. I have stayed in many rooms in Island Winds over the years and this one was by far the worst one.

Family Beach Trip

Location is great - walking distance to The Hangout and the ā€œmain stripā€ right by public access beach and parking. We were only allowed ONE parking spot so we had to park our other family members car in a free public parking a few blocks away - we called to ask for an additional spot and I think there was some misunderstanding- because we didnā€™t get the spot. Itā€™s fine, just annoying. Our unit was just like the video posted. I will say, they have the glass tables for eating, but also as a coffee table so as a mother with a 1yr old - I was nervous of the glass tables. Also - the washing machine didnā€™t work properly - I messaged the management, they said they would send maintenanceā€¦they never came by. All in all - we would stay again though.

Great Location and view but thatā€™s about the only good thing

Reviewer Comments: Arrived to a corner condo with a double balcony and great view of the beach. The light switches in both bedrooms are disconnected, you have to make your way to the ceiling fan to turn in the lights. The drain in the main bathroom shower and sink STILL doesnā€™t drain well. The floors felt gross after the first night with no broom or anything to clean with. This condo is defiantly not cared for at all. Just a money maker. Iā€™ve stayed in this area for the last 8 years and have never experienced such a run down place. Absolutely no spices, coffee filters or anything in the cabinet to make the stay a little more comfortable. OH and the mattresses are terrible! You can not make a move on the master bed without it squeezing and creaking. We actually decided to dive home after the 4th night so we didnā€™t have to sleep there again. The worst conditioned condo we have experienced.

Dated, but GREAT place. Enjoyed it!

You cannot beat the area. Period! You have to oay extra for parking, but then you may walk to stuff nearby. Pros: CLEAN! I checked the ceiling fans & vents for dirt or dust! Excellent when it comes to cleanliness. Location! You cannot get any better. New microwave and dishwasher. Stove & oven are perfectly acceptable. Fridge is older & the shelf in the freezer looks rusted, but all worked just fine. Air-conditioning worked great. Cons: Washing machine needs to be replaced. Yes, it washes, but it is so loud you cannot hear the television over the washing machine. When the washing cycle is done, the clothes are still dripping wet, but the dryer works very well. So if you put your wet clothes into the dryer, and set it on the longest timer, your clothes will dry. The bathroom in the master bedroom has a very slow draining tub and sink. Water will stand around your feet while you shower & water will sit in the sink. They do have satellite, but there is no streaming service provided. There is no place to hook up your own streaming device if you bring one to watch netflix, Amazon prime, hbo, etc. So you are stuck with satellite. The television in the master bedroom has a big scratch in it. It did not disturb my viewing, but it might be a distraction for others. There are slashes in a lamp shade in the master bedroom.
