The Best of the Best

Our condominium located at Kamaole Sands in sunny south Kihei has one of the superior garden/ocean views and is just steps from the Kamaole Beach III which is rated the top family beach in Hawaii by Sunset Magazine. This location is very protected from weather and averages only eight to ten inches of rain annually.

Kamaole Sands is for people who want an active lifestyle vacation. It is a tropical garden with 15 acres of cascading waterfalls and the scent of flowers in the air. The ocean is warm and the surf is gentle, creating a year-round water park that is perfect for families or for couples looking for a romantic retreat.

Ours is considered to be one of the nicest and best located/designed units at Kamaole Sands. The unique design affords 1288 square feet of living space on one floor. From both the livingroom/lanai and the master bedroom we enjoy a beautiful westerly view over the landscaped grounds and fountains across to the park and ocean which is about 200 steps away.

Five star experience at a three star price. Condo was exactly what we needed for the 4 of us and had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Pool is great for family time. Great ocean activities right across the street. We snorkeled all three beaches and saw plenty of fish and turtles. Just up the road are plenty of shops, restaurants and a general store.

Would Definitely Book Again!

This two-bedroom condo was very spacious. It had a nice kitchen, a living room and even a dining area (we went through an open-house for a one-bedroom in this same complex, and it didn't have the dining area). It is in a large resort, with ten buildings, but this building is closest to the ocean. So we had a wonderful view. The owner was so easy to contact and was very helpful. We enjoyed staying in Kihei because not only does it have many activities, restaurants and shopping, but it's also close to many of the activities we wanted to do on other parts of the island. This condo is also close to Big Beach, which is a great place to spend the day. I would not hesitate to book this condo again!

Great property!

We had a wonderful stay and Melissa is amazing! She’s super easy to get ahold of and is happy to help with whatever is needed. The property is clean and in a beautiful location. It was really nice to have all of the beach stuff to use. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful family friendly location in Kihei

My family had a great time at the Kamaole Sands condo. The condo is roomy, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy cooking when we wanted to. Beach access is a short 3 min walk, to one of the most family oriented, clean and safe beaches we visited. Making reservations was a snap and communication was a breeze. Would stay here again - hard to beat the value.

Loved it!

This place was just as described or actually better. Clean, spacious, the beach gear was a huge plus and I absolutely loved the view from the lanai. We reserved a bbq area one night and had a great time meeting other people staying in the complex. The pool area was great. The gym was closed which my son was disappointed about but I think it’s due to be open soon. We loved how well maintained the Kamaole Sands complex grounds are. Thank you for sharing your amazing condo with us! We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful family condo

I stayed also with my husband and two children. The property was wonderful, clean and made for a great home away from home. From the nicely furnished living spaces to beach gear everything was taken care of. Missy was so attentive and helpful by promptly helping answer all my question and making sure the property was ready for our stay.

Perfect location!

Our family had the best vacation! Definitely a perfect location…so close to the beach made it very convenient to take walks on the beach every morning and easy to go snorkeling and swimming with all your gear. Thank you so much! This was our first trip to Hawaii and favorite of three properties. We loved the views, location and grounds. You can walk to beach across the street. Also many shops and restaurants within walking distance to north. The breeze allowed us to keep windows open and not use A/C. It was a huge plus that owner leaves condiments, etc. from previous guests. At our other two stays needed to buy them since we cooked breakfast daily and some dinners. Though the property is older, it is clean and comfortably furnished. The grounds are beautiful. Pool is nice since a shady area to use after being in sun at beach all day. I was impressed on how clean the barbeque grilles were kept. The beach chairs and umbrella were in good shape. We kept the wagon with chairs and umbrella in Jeep for travelling to other beaches when out exploring. Owner was easy to contact and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving

Kam Sands is a beautiful place to spend a vacation, and building 10 is the ideal property for us in the compound. Our response to "manager" relates to our contact with the owner who was very understanding and responsive to our needs. The unit we stayed in (10315) was comfortable and wecould ask for no more than that.

Great unit for an extended family

We were three generations on vacation. Missy was very accommodating and the unit was clean and ready for us. The unit is very well equipped in the kitchen, extra bed dings, home supplies, and beach stuff including umbrella and toys. The resort itself was well kept from BBQ, pool and grass. The beach was easy to reach and great for all of us

Truly the very best condo with the best view!

We stayed in this unit for our 18th wedding anniversary and it was so nice in every way. The master bedroom offered the nicest view of the ocean and grounds and wasn't in the walk way were everyone walks by. It was wonderful to leave the windows open and hear the ocean at night and feel the wonderful breeze. This condo is fully stocked with everything we ever need including all spices and many sauces for cooking. The owner allows renters to leave food items, (that aren't perishable or expired), for the next renter so there were lots of food options for my gentleman to graze on. The owner also provides lots of very nice and soft linens and towels that weren't full of fragrance fabric softener for those of us that are chemically sensitive and allergic to fragrances. The bed in the master bedroom was very pleasant and comfortable even with a bad back. The bathrooms were spotless when we arrived, which is a plus for us. There were lots of beach items, great chairs, boogie boards, coolers and beach mats. The owner takes extra pride in her condo and has furnished it with nice and very comfortable furniture that was not only nice to look at but very functional. There is a second bedroom with twin beds that will convert into a king bed but we just used it for our clothing and luggage. This is one of the very best condos we have ever stayed in and plan on staying here every time we come back to Maui. This rivals the condos at Mana Kai and for a much better price and location. Thank you to Oonagh Morley for hooking us up to this condo!

Great Condo!

Our family of 4 really loved this condo and its owner, Missy. The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The condo is nicely furnished with amazing sunset views over Kam III beach and was quiet/peaceful at night. We really enjoyed the beach and pool supplies/toys along with the cooking supplies/spices/condiments. Missy was responsive to any questions we had and gave great suggestions to help us enjoy our stay on Maui. Our kids really enjoyed Missy's personalized Aloha welcome. Thanks Missy for sharing your piece of paradise with our family.

Best condo!!!

My family of 5 stayed at Melissa's condo for 10 days and it was the greatest experience on a vactaion we have had ever had!! We are comimg back! It was clean, updated, and cupboards were fully stocked with every fork, spoon, pot, cup, etc that was needed.The kitchen also had spices, condiments and fresh unopened food that previous guests would leave complimentary after there stay. It had everything for the beach, chairs, snorkel gear, boards, towels. There was an abundance of sheets. pillows, blankets, no shortage of anything... oh and as well very very spacius rooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer was a plus to have. The view is beautiful and just a hop skip and jump to the beach. Melissa Thank you so much for letting us stay at your amazing condo!! Chapman family :)

Aloha!!

This specific condo offered a great accommodation for our family of 5. Two adults, a 21 year old, 19 year old and 17 year old. Having a vehicle made the location ideal as we were close to the Costco, Safeway, Walmart , airport and a 45 minute drive to L'haina. It was incredibly convenient having all the amenities already in the condo, especially the pool toys and boards and tennis rackets. Being an active family, we enjoyed the surrounding walking paths; beautiful scenery everywhere you look. The ocean front view across the main road made the beach very accessible and this condo suite was equally close and convenient. The weight room was sufficient for even athletes to train. The suite offering 2 bathrooms was greatly appreciated. There was an abundance of towels for bathing and beach use. The air mattress was just fine for a 17 yr old, 6'3" boy. There was plenty of room move about without walking all over each other. If you think you forgot anything, everything was there....it was nice having former guests leaving unusual items: nail polish remover, laundry soap, pop, etc...just until you could get to the store. The owner is fantastic to do business with. We certainly would recommend this condo to any family for their holidays, family wedding, or a work contract.

Very nice unit!

We found the owners to be simply the best to deal with. Very helpful and responsive. They even called the first night to make sure everything was OK. The unit is VERY nice with everything you could want. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was great. The only downside is the lack of A/C. The master bedroom traps the heat from the setting sun. Even with the ceiling fan and three other fans going, the room just did not cool off enough for a good night's sleep. One of us slept on the couch under the only A/C unit and the other did not sleep much. An air mattress in the living room might be ideal. Other than the uncomfortable temp, the unit is GREAT. If you can sleep in a warm room, this maynbe the best place in Maui to stay. One final note, the office staff in Kamole Sands are unhelpful and rude. But, you only need to deal with them upon arrival. It is a privately-owned unti and again, the owners are great.
