Location, location, location!!!

The location is awesome. The property is well taken care of and offers everything you could need. The beach access and the chair and umbrella set up was a great feature.

SurfSide resort vacation

We love staying at SurfSide resort. We try to twice a year. The condo has everything we need. The views are spectacular. The restaurants are wonderful and pretty much within walking distance. The ocean is just a short walk across the sky bridge.

Good for what we needed

Enjoy the morning sunrise

Good views of beach. Morning sunrise beautiful. Restaurant food was good. Pool nice and usefull. Walk over bridge to beach and bar. Second bedroom smaller then expected. Pull out couch/bed mattress past its usefullness.

Awesome view!

I always pick a condo on the left side of the building as the view is better. Nothing beats waking up in the morning and looking at the ocean from bed! Unit was clean upon arrival but needs new living room furniture (couch & chairs worn and dirty); however, front desk said new furniture has been ordered so that's good news. Would definitely stay here again especially with new furniture. Rating a 5 due to cleanliness, view, and expected new furniture.

Had a few things wrong with the unit.

We arrived on a Thursday evening late and the check in was easy. Friday morning we went to the front desk to check in and informed the lady of the toilet that was continually running. She said she would let someone know. No one came to check on the toilet so we shut the water off ourselves to stop it. Friday afternoon we went into our unit and the temperature was 75. Tried to adjust the thermostat and it didn’t cool. Never got below 75. Other than those issues, it was clean.

Girl's trip gone bad

We loved the view from our unit and the convenience of being across the street from the beach. We also enjoyed the complimentary beach service. We did not enjoy having to clean our unit upon arrival due to hair balls all over the bedroom rug and griddy floors. The sliding glass door handle was broken so it was very difficult to open & close the door when stepping outside to the balcony. The ice dispenser was broken on the fridge. The entry closet door was broken, the sofa sleeper was terrible then once open we couldn't close it back up. There were screw on the ground so we had the Property manager come up & assist us. He was wonderful & very responsive. He ordered a memory foam mattress topper for the sofa sleeper and that made it bearable. I have to give kuddos to John, the Property Manager, he was very responsive and tried to help out whenever he could.

One Night Only

My family and I had decided to extend our stay at another property in this building. Unfortunately that property was unavailable for another night and we were able to get this property for one night. Even though I have no complaints, it was definitely not as nice as the one I had stayed in the previous night. It was our first time at Surfside and we will definitely be back again. Loved our entire vacation!

Great spot!

Enjoyed our time at this condo; very spacious and well priced. Easy access to the beach and pool, as well as the recreation area. Condo was clean and equipped for what we needed, including good WIFI!

Wonderful experience

The condo was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tubs were very nice. The view was great. I would rent this condo again.

Beautiful room horrible beds

Love this resort and our room was amazing. The views were perfect and layout was spacious and clean. The beds were the worse though, so hard and uncomfortable and we are young.. I also had to wash make up off my comforter.. other then that it was a great stay.

Surfside Resort Unit 1503

My family has been staying at surfside for around 20 years now. We typically rent straight from an owner. But this time I decided to give VACASA a try. I was over all very happy with the unit. The only down fall is that there could have been small upgrades made. The unit was clean, but lacked a welcoming feel. My parents stayed in another unit. They had many amenities, and as far as I could tell we didn’t even have a pizza cutter that I could find. The couch was a pull out sleeper, but the couch was very broken in to say the least. There was absolutely minimal decorating, and the wear on some of the furniture and cabinets were things that could definitely be upgraded for a more welcoming, and appealing stay. The view from the 15th floor was phenomenal though! The pillows on the bed had to be absolutely one of my favorite things. As I said we have rented from Surfside for the past 20 years. Although we love it, it has definitely went down hill over all. There was a leak, that was pretty bad on the seventh floor. So bad that it was not only dripping from the ceiling, but paint in chunks of feeling we’re falling to the floor upon entering the elevators. Also there was leaking somewhere through the elevator system. When I got onto the elevator there was ways a puddle between the elevator on the floor, going onto the actual 15th floor carpet. There was also condensation dripping from the elevator door (from the top.) it dripped on me as I was entering, and exiting the elevator. Probably what caused the puddle on the floor. The one jacuzzi outside wasn’t lit, or working properly. Like I said, some upgrades could be made to the actual unit.. that would make a world of difference. Surfside could do better maintaining the overall property as well. I will more than likely be back, because of the memories made here through the years. I would just like them to take more pride in their building overall.
