Hanalei Bay Resort overlooks Hanalei Bay from a tropical, lush 28 acres in Princeville. Beautiful ocean and Bali Hai views are everywhere on this property. Beach access is provided down a long, fair grade, paved path, and the resort staff offer convenient golf cart rides to the beach below. With four new artificial turf and two new hard courts as well as 6 new pickleball courts added to this world ranked tennis resort, everyone is sure to find their groove. Onsite restaurant, pizza oven, and coffee shop, concierge and fitness center, there is little need to ever leave!

Privately located at the end of the resort, this connecting, lock off, studio will be your great escape! Island views will be yours to enjoy right from the lanai making for wonderful outdoor living. This spacious studio will accommodate with a king bed, a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, blender, coffee maker, dishes and flatware. If you want to cookout, the onsite BBQ's are only a few steps away by the round pool. This studio can be rented with the adjoining one bedroom unit to accommodate 4 additional guests. The onsite amenities will keep you busy with 2 swimming pools, a hot tub, tennis, a fitness center, a fire pit arena and the bar/lounge with live music to set the mood. This unit is a decent walk from the parking area, adding to the tropical experience. The resort staff are happy to provide rides to and from your car.

Had a great time! Resort was very clean and had great amenities including two nice pools. It is very hilly but they offer golf cart pickups for getting around. Wifi and cell signal can be spotty at times. Would definitely stay here again!

Hanalei Bay Resort was lovely. The common areas are well-landscaped, and we enjoyed the two nice restaurants, pools, tennis courts, and private beach access. The staff was warm, and the golf cart service (available via text) to go from parking to the unit and the beach was helpful, though you should plan for a 10-minute wait for rides.The unit itself was a spacious, hotel-style studio with a functioning air conditioner and refrigerator. The view was amazing, though Iā€™d note that some units further uphill offer even more expansive views (rightly priced higher).While the price was fair, we encountered several maintenance issues: the linens had a mild unpleasant odor, the electric kettle was broken, and the provided beach chairs were broken. Fortunately, the timeshare office near reception makes some chairs available for free, which saved our beach day. We reached out to the host about the kettle but never received a response.Note for future guests: There is a coffee maker but no grounds are provided, and there is no microwave in the unit.Overall, a decent stay for the price because of the resort's location and perks, but the unit cleanliness and host communication could be improved.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good value for the money, I just wish the bed was more comfortable.

Perfect Vacation Spot

My husband and I had a great time at the Hanalei Bay Resort! Perfectly located in Princeville, all of the sights and restaurants that we wanted to go to on the north shore were only a short drive away. We also watched the most amazing sunset while staying in this unit!

Great view and property

The place was perfect for a week getaway. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the property had way more amenities than we expected. The room also came with beach chairs and snorkeling gear which was a plus.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The property is really beautiful. They have an amazing beach for snorkeling. The room feels slightly dated but the view from the balcony makes up for it. The location of the room is at the end of the property but we didnā€™t mind the walk and they also provided free pickup and drop off service.

Slice of paradise

This lock off unit is perfect for couples. Unit has a beautiful view of Hanalei bay. We spent many nights watching the sunset from the lanai. The property is beautiful and lush and perfectly located. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great stay at HBR!

We had a wonderful stay at HBR. It was nice to have a mini fridge with a top freezer area and a blender in the condo. The unit itself was not very clean (many many dead bugs all over the windows and ground), and dirty dishes when we arrived, but otherwise nice stay with great amenities and responsive hosts.

Despite the annoying sounds the chickens constantly make at all hours of the day and night, and the 2 AM party next door, we loved it and would come again! The room and accommodations were perfect and as described. Thanks:)

Beautiful Sunset Views at a Charming Resort

Views from the lanai of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai are exceptional. The unit itself is a little outdated and could use a little love but itā€™s totally fine. The resort has a bit of an old-school field and I say that in the best wayā€¦ We really like this place and would go back. The pool is exceptional

Wonderful stay

That unit is the very last unit on the property and is furthest from everything, however, that is what made it ideal for us. It was a hike to get to the parking lot and pool, but it was secluded and away from noise. Beautiful views. The carpet is very dated and dirty in places, but it didn't bother us. The gift basket was very nice and the unit had all the essentials for two people. Would definitely stay again.

Would 100% stay here again, only issue was the listing was a tad misleading as it indicated theyā€™re was a kitchen but there was only a mini fridge. If you can get over that, fairly priced and awesome location.

Breathtaking View!

Stayed 2 nights at the Hanalei Bay Resort as part of my honeymoon. The resort itself is absolutely incredible with stunning views all over! The pool and hot tub are amazing at the resort, it is a short 8 minute drive to Hanalei Bay, surrounding restaurants, and other water activities. The room had a spectacular view of the mountains overlooking the bay. The shower was very nice, but the only negative comment I have is that the carpet needs to be replaced as it smelled kind of musty in the room. Other than that my experience was outstanding and I definitely will come back!

The end unit location was exception along with the view. We liked how you converted one side of the closet into a coffee bar area. The view is spectacular. The carpet however was significantly stained and the screen door was very difficult to open. Aside from those two repairable things the unit was perfect.

The landscaping is stunning and lush with both cozy nooks for small gatherings and open lawns with games and lounge chairs.
