While the community enforces specific vehicle guidelines, we regret any confusion at the security gate; had our team been contacted about the scooter during your stay, we would have been glad to assist. Regarding the lighting, Sanibel and Captiva enforce strict local sea turtle nesting protections. We send notifications in advance to help guests navigate these island-wide rules and avoid severe fines, though we understand adjusting to them can feel inconvenient. Most importantly, we are deeply concerned to hear about your experience with the shower door. Guest safety is our top priority. Our maintenance team is available 24/7 to resolve urgent issues immediately upon request, and our staff has since thoroughly inspected and repaired the door assembly.
