It’s a beautiful home with wonderful amenities and a gorgeous view. I truly don’t like leaving negative reviews, and I only deducted one star, but this was a significant concern for our group. We were two moms traveling with four 13‑year‑old girls. The moms’ bedrooms were upstairs, and the girls’ room was downstairs.The listing’s layout shows a private‑property ADU attached to the house at the downstairs level, but it was **not disclosed** that someone actively lives in that ADU during guest stays. Shortly after we arrived, we discovered a man residing there. I reached out and was told he would be “inconspicuous,” but the issue for us was safety and awareness, not his behavior.I discovered him while looking for the hose spigot after the sprinkler turned on—I wasn’t sure if it was on a timer or if someone was present. Two cars had also appeared below the house; only one was there when we arrived. When I walked around the faux wall separating the hot tub area (where our girls were at the time) from the ADU, I unexpectedly came face‑to‑face with a man looking out the ADU window.This made us extremely uneasy about having our girls sleeping downstairs with an adult man living just on the other side of the wall. Had this been disclosed in the listing or rental agreement, we would not have chosen this property.I’m sharing this so future renters are aware of this situation before making their decision.
