The complex is older but the grounds are in great shape. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub and grills were very nice. Unit was nice too. Had a great time there.

This place was perfect for us! It was exactly as described. Easy to coordinate, park and access. The view absolutely made our trip, as we looked forward to the beginning and end of each day with this view. Turtles, whales, sunsets, seals and lots of birds. The grounds we lovely and we made good use of the BBQs and the shuffleboard. And we loved having a well-stocked kitchen to make our meals. We would definitely return to this place!

Advertisement stated recently renovated. Could not see what was renovated. Fridge missing handle, slider to balcony was every hard to open. Slider locked us on balcony once. Fortunately, staff opened on 15 min. Wonderful view and close to ocean. The condo was not up to our expectations

Wonderful location

Great locale - nice amenities

The location of the unit was nice in conjunction with the Papakea property - really enjoyed being 25 feet from the ocean!

Location, location

This stay was the perfect location for us. We played tennis every morning, enjoyed spectacular whale shows from our lanai, loved the constant beauty & roar of the ocean with beautiful well kept grounds. Papakea is within walking distance of great food carts, BadAss coffee, the Farmer’s Market (a local grocery store that needs tourists support!) & other small restaurants.

Great ocean view from condo lanai

This condo is nicely updated, well equipped, and conveniently located. We went to Maui for whale season, and saw plenty of whale activity every day from our lanai. The Papakea property offers plenty of amenities and the acreage is beautiful.

Really wonderful spot- great clean new unit with beautiful ocean views- could sleep and hear the waves. Had some issues with property company losing reservation but they did a great job getting us into another nice unit.

Absolutely Stunning

Perfect location, the sound of the ocean throughout the property was incredible and relaxing. Looking at whale playing from our lanai was priceless. Easy access to restaurants, and direct access to connecting resorts. We Had New Year's Eve dinner at Kaanapali beach club which was a short walk away from our condo. We snorkeled behind the property. It was magical.

Perfect View

We loved the location of this property just North of the more crowded resort area of Kaanapali but very walkable. Including a Food Truck Park, Farmers Market, Gift Shops, Coffe Shop, Beach and more. It maybe a little tight for 4 but was perfect for 2 and the best of Papakea given that it was Ocean Front which was key. The unit was well equipped if you did want to cook which we only did 1x - The washer & dryer a great feature along with beach chairs and umbrella. We will definitely love to come back to beautiful Hawaii and this unit in the future

Fantastic Ocean View!

This ocean view from this condo is breathtaking -- we even were able to see a (probably reef) shark swimming in the clear water. The condo itself is adequate. We have stayed in many Papakea units -- this one is not as updated as some and could be a bit better stocked (e.g., with more kitchen things, boogie boards, and books on Hawaiian flora and fauna) but it was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. With the fans provided in the bedroom we didn't need the AC. Overall, a great place to stay.

Nice property, unit was well appointed unit, and clean as expected and meet our expectations 100%.

Be aware of travel restrictions going to Maui, and also read the fine print regarding your reservation with "My Perfect Stay" , the owner's property management company, not the property itself. Our trip went off without a hitch, but know before you go about cancellation policy for covid, and also extra fees that aren't made clear until your trip is booked...

Please see a direct quote from our listing below, as we make sure to let our future guests know of any additional fees. **Papakea charges a $17/day facility fee for your first 10 consecutive days in a 30-day period. The fee includes a parking permit, Wifi throughout the resort, cable and local calls during your stay. Additional vehicles are $5 a day.
