Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear the space was very clean, matched the online photos, had a well-equipped kitchen, and offered a beautiful view. We’re very sorry, however, about the condition of the grill. A grill that has not been properly cleaned between stays can create a safety concern, and we apologize that your meal caught fire. Your comments will be shared with our housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams so the grill can be thoroughly inspected and cleaning procedures reinforced. We also understand your disappointment with the lack of an automatic ice maker and arriving to empty ice trays, especially at this price point. We appreciate you mentioning it and will share that feedback with the property owner as well. Your comments regarding the lack of propane, condition of the charcoal grill, limited beach seating, and the sloped firepit area are all valid concerns—and we understand how these can affect your ability to fully relax and enjoy your time. Regarding the A/C system, we know how important it is to stay comfortable—especially during hot summer days. We will have our HVAC professionals assess the system's performance to ensure it’s functioning as efficiently as possible moving forward. We’re also very sorry to hear that your experience with the management communication felt impersonal and overly transactional. That is never our intent. Hi Randall- I am sorry to hear your didn't find this home to meet your standards. The photos on our website were taken about 2 years ago and represent the home in its current condition. The home owner offers all of the basic supplies needed in a rental and have never had any other complaints to it being ill equipped. We would love to have heard this during your stay as to what other items would have made it more comfortable for you and may have been able to provide those for you during your stay.
