Private Estate for Spring Break & Summer Vacation

Thank you Elizabeth and family. This being our first time renting we wanted to make sure it was ready for you, and could have asked for better guests. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and really thankful of how you took care of our home. You are welcome back anytime!

While we respect that every guest’s experience is unique, we feel it is important to provide additional context for future guests. Our home was professionally cleaned on the day of your arrival, with our cleaning team on-site from approximately 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. preparing the property. You also arrived approximately one hour before the scheduled check-in time, before the home was officially ready for occupancy. The home is professionally serviced for pest control every month and had been treated approximately one week prior to your arrival. Because the property is surrounded by mature, lush tropical landscaping, it is not uncommon for outdoor spider webs to reappear quickly despite regular maintenance. This is simply part of the natural environment in our coastal neighborhood. Regarding the windows, the home does have window coverings in the bedrooms where they are needed for privacy. In other areas, we intentionally preserve the beautiful views of the surrounding landscaping, which also naturally shades the home and blocks much of the early morning sunlight. Many guests specifically enjoy this open, indoor-outdoor feel. During your stay, the spa developed an unexpected algae issue after unusually heavy use. As soon as we were notified, we immediately dispatched our pool service company to restore the water quality and provided a refund for the night the spa was unavailable. We take great pride in maintaining our home and encourage guests to read all reviews.
