Conveniently located near all the charm of Finger Lakes Wine Country, as well as Geneseo, RIT, Rochester, and Letchworth, our lake house is a gateway to countless adventures and exploration. Discover nearby hiking spots that offer breathtaking vistas and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you. The easy 30-minute drive into Rochester allows you to experience the best of both worlds—secluded lake living and city attractions.
With plenty of off-road parking and a spacious yard for playing, our property is ideal for families. The lake house boasts 2.5 bathrooms, including an outdoor shower for a refreshing al fresco experience. The high-end kitchen is a chef's dream, and for water enthusiasts, we provide kayaks, a canoe, and paddle boards for guest use.
Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully designed space that accommodates three couples and kiddos comfortably. The 4th bedroom features 6 custom-made bunk beds, perfect for the little ones to create unforgettable memories.

The Perfect Family Getaway!!!

My family stayed at this gorgeous lakefront property late September to celebration my sister's surprise 40th birthday... and we didn't have a single complaint! The house was just as, if not even MORE stunning as the photos show, Whitney was an incredibly communicative and accomodating host, and the house was stocked with everything we could have needed. I have a 9 month old son and there were organized toys for days, as well as a very convenient mini high chair that we used our on the deck! We took the canoe out and enjoyed the lake, and even rented the pontoon from the hosts as well and the sunset pontoon ride was by far the highlight of our trip! We would absolutely come back again! THANK YOU!!! :)

Charming vacation home with lake views that are as welcoming as the property itself.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at your beauty waterfront vacation home. The property is as tastefully decorated as it is functional. The home is furnished with more than enough comfortable spaces to spread out and enjoy the stunning views of the lake. Enjoying our morning coffee with the view of the sun mirrored in the lake gave each day a welcome start. We could not have asked for more comfortable accommodations. The bedding and plentiful amount of towels provided were more than I have ever received at any of the previous vacation homes we have rented. The kitchen was so well stocked that if it wasn't in the cupboards or utensil drawers you certainly did not need it. We sincerely appreciated the attention to detailed instructions provided prior to and during our stay to ensure our ability to enjoy the use of the home. We look forward to the possibility of returning to this or perhaps another of your rental properties in the future and will certainly encourage our family and friends to consider them as well. Thank you.

Conesus Lake House

All we had to do was buy groceries and start enjoying the home. It had everything we needed to include a children’s nook where our nieces and nephews could play when they came to visit. Comfortable home with room to spread out. Fantastic view of the lake and fall foliage. Peaceful and relaxing!

Perfect stay!

Although we were there for a Celebration of Life which was such a sad occasion we were comforted by being able to come back to this huge, comfortable property. Every amenity one can imagine was provided.for. Each bed was so comfortable & Warm. The kitchen was well stocked. It is now the end of January 2025 so it was snow-covered outside & the lake was frozen. Still, it was beautiful. Hope to return someday. Late spring through late fall must be breathtaking.

Lake life!

Whitney was a great host and reached out at the beginning and end of our stay to make sure everything was as we expected. Our group had a great week enjoying "Lake Life". The kids couldnt get enough of the lake including swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The bunk room was great for the kids. Whitney's suggestions for food and local outings were on point! A vacation we will remember for a long time!

Well-appointed and relaxing

This was probably the most well-appointed property we've ever stayed at! The kitchen is fully stocked with actual sharp, quality knives, which is important to me bc we tend to cook a lot! Plenty of pots/pans/etc and also plenty of plastic bags and aluminum foil, which seems silly to mention but such a pain when you run out! We ran into a minor wifi issue but was addressed promptly and was taken care of. Communicating with Whitney was such a breeze before and during the trip. The house itself is beautiful and there are multiple living areas to lounge in. The lake was ideal for little kids bc the water level is low so they can splash and wade safely. The solo stove was a nice touch and there are plenty of adirondack chairs if you have a large group. Best of all, we had courtside seats to the most magnificent firework show courtesy of the houses next door on the July 3rd ring of fire!The only minor downside is that there were a lot of flying bugs at night, esp in the bathrooms, and the floors weren't as clean as I would've liked since we don't wear shoes inside the house, but the pros definitely outweigh any of the minor cons. It was a fantastic stay!

Beautiful

We had a small family gathering for Thanksgiving! This property is amazing. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots, and dishes. We played with the puzzles and game boards! This home does have a lot of steep stairs so not great for my mother but the view on the lake was amazing even in the winter! And I can’t say enough on how helpful the host was. If I had a question on where something was she responded quickly and with thoughtful suggestions! Definitely would stay here again hopefully in the summer to enjoy the beautiful lake and other amenities this house and host has to offer. Thank You!!!

Family Vacation

This property is truly amazing. We could not have been happier with amount of space in the house, the number of places to hang out, particularly on the various decks overlooking the water, and the huge kitchen with the adjacent laundry room. This place has everything we could possibly need, from coffee makers to bluetooth speakers, to dishes and glasses and every kitchen essential you can imagine. Whitney is an amazing host. She thought of everything and was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We made some amazing memories here our family will never forget.

Cute and Cozy Lake House

The house is right on the lake. You can hear the water splash against the rocks. The kitchen is well stocked and there's plenty of towels and supplies. Each TV has streaming capability and all the beds are comfortable and roomy. Whitney, the owner, is amazing in keeping in touch and suggesting what to do and where to eat locally. A terrific host. The only concern, if any, is that the steps in the house are very steep and maybe troublesome for older guests and those with disabilities; Whitney makes this known in the VRBO listing.

Family Reunion

We had a perfect week on Conesus Lake and this amazing property contributed greatly to our vacation. The home is equipped with everything you need and for all ages- We have had a wonderful week filled with swimming, boating, Big Mabel rides, fishing, mini golf, go-carts, and most importantly, great family time. The home has so many different gathering spaces- and the outdoor areas (porches, yard) allow you to take in the beauty of the lake- do not miss the morning sunrise. One minor consideration- the home has many levels/ steps and could present a challenge for those who have mobility limitations. Again, our week could not have been more perfect. Thank you for creating a space that is so warm and conducive to large families.

This was a perfect birthday weekend !!

My friends and I had a great stay at this beautiful lake home. It was perfect for a girls get a way celebrating my 69th birthday. There was plenty of space for the eight of us ! The weather was great, and we all enjoyed the deck by the water. There are a lot of stairs, so you just have to take your time going between the three floors. It’s so worth it believe me ! The house was well stocked with all that you need, and Whitney was a wonderful host. She answered us right away on any concerns we had. I highly recommend staying here if you have a large group of family and friends !

Beautiful lake views

We stayed part of June and first week of July and the weather was unusually HOT. Many older lake homes have no air conditioning so we were so thankful to have air conditioning on each of the 3 levels of the home. the decks and and screened patio overlooking the lake are wonderful. Beautiful fireworks around the Lake for week of July 4th. The house was very clean and kitchen was well stocked. It was so nice to use pots and pans that were like new. As others have mentioned there are many steep staircases in the house. Driveway is also angled and steep which took a little getting used to. Homeowner was quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed our stay!

ages 7 to 67 had a blast here!

Our group was a grandma and two family groups (4 more adults with 5 kids ages 7-16: 10 in total). What a wonderful spot to vacation! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep well, and great areas to congregate and play games, chat, or just listen to the waves. Every day we did an excursion (Letchworth State Park, Watkins Glen, the women's suffrage national park at Seneca Falls, and one day just indulging in go-karts, miniature golf, and arcade games at Minnehan's.) The rest of the day, the kiddos played on the water: they loved balancing on the paddle board and taking out the kayaks. We could watch them safely from the dock or the house decks or porches. (But the grown-ups did indulge in a bit of kayaking and canoeing too.) It's not a sandy bottom beach, but Whitney was clear about that, so we were all prepared with water shoes. Whitney provided really clear instructions about everything and responded super promptly to any questions. Kitchen and bath and laundry room were everything we could hope for too. Costco wasn't too far away, for us to stock up to start the week, but Aldi's and Wegman's are very close for those last minute grocery runs. If I could give this place six stars, I would!

Challenging BUT OH So Worth the Stay!!!

My stay at this 2700 sq ft. beautifully appointed home was an exceptional and memorable experience. Since discovering VRBO in Aug. 2022, I've taken myself (and my cane) to four properties in the Finger Lakes area... each property was unique, way too spacious for me alone but that's how I like it! "AND" had an ambiance that had an overwhelming effect on me during my stay. This Livingston County home right on Conesus Lake (originally built in 1900s) has it all!! First of all, I want you to know.. I'm a 74 yr ole woman who does use a cane time to time to go up and down stairs. Please note this property can be challenging as there are a number of staircases inside the home that allow you to enjoy its three levels not to mention the outdoor staircases.. BUT I had no real issues .. was a bit challenging at first but using the stairs became second nature to me.. so, be prepared for a challenge BUT it will be so worth the stay!! Despite this property's size and layout (inside and out) you will be pleasantly surprised how easily you will get a feel for the home and what it has to offer. For me, I didn't know where to sit or experience first (inside / outside / in the upper or lower area / on the expansive deck / shoreline or the shaded grassy areas!! Communication with Whitney was on pointe; never felt alone or ignored. My advice: Book this home for the experience; you won't be disappointed!!

Amazing water front home! The best host yet!

We stayed with our 5 adult children, their partners and spouses. Fun was had by all. Whitney, our host was on top of everything. The house is so well stocked it comes with paper towels, all your toiletries. It even has a first aid kit which we used. We could not have asked for a better long weekend together. The outdoor shower is a must. It even has hot water! This home is wonderful for active families looking for water fun on the lake.

Comfortable and Cozy Escape

We enjoyed this beautifully updated home. There were plenty of the expected household supplies on hand. At past rentals we chose to dine out several nights, but at this one we were very content to dine "at home". Owner replied to our texts within minutes before and during our stay.

Perfect place to stay for Graduation weekend and more!

Wonderful stay at the Lakehouse. Charming, comfortable home that is just a 10 minute drive from Campus for Graduation weekend!. Coffee on the porch, fire pit in the evening and a great kitchen to cook and hang out. There are restaurants, a brewery and more right in the neighbor hood. One thing to note: If your guests aren't able to do a lot of stairs the house may be difficult to maneuver especially to access the bathrooms. The home is well furnished with every amenity you could ask for. Would definitely rent again!

Gorgeous property!!!

We had an absolute blast for an ice fishing weekend for my husbands 40th birthday!!! The cottage is wonderful, so spacious and clean. I would love to rent again in the summer!
