2 Acre Oasis with Private Beach! Family and dog friendly!

Welcome to Paradise Point where you’ll be surrounded by sweeping water views. The Potomac River is on one side of the house and Blake Creek is on the other. In the middle of these two bodies of water is a private beach where you can relax, swim, fish and explore. You’ll see diving ospreys and soaring eagles as you sip your morning coffee or explore the creek by kayak. Our house is great for families, children and well-mannered dogs. As the (unfiltered) pictures show, the sunsets are absolutely spectacular! The expansive yard has a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of room to set up the cornhole boards. Behind the garage you’ll find a screened-in room that is a perfect spot for a crab feast, playing darts or just hanging out. This room is a great for kids and teenagers to hang out at night while the adults enjoy the cozy house. The pier on the river, as well as the platform on the back creek are yours to use. The boat lift is not part of the rental but you can tie up to any of the other pilings. Bring your fishing rods!!

Delightful family vacation spot

We loved the location beside the water and enjoyed the private quiet space. The kitchen had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. We kayaked and paddle boarded and got to watch the dolphins one evening. A great place!!!

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It had wonderful views, very private, and family friendly. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, there were games for the children, we enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit, and the wildlife was so interesting to watch. I hope we will be able to return sometime.

Best spot for a getaway

The host was very accommodating and responsive. The house was above anything you would expect. Beautiful pictures do not do it justice. My family and I had space and didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The beach area was so peaceful and just what the soul needed. Just an amazing place.

Relaxing Vacation

What a special place! The home was well-equipped, clean, and spacious. The view was spectacular! The property has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We kayaked and paddle-boarded, watched dolphins, bald-eagles, and the most amazing sunsets. The beach was fun to explore (water shoes are helpful). Our family and dog loved our visit and hope to return!

Beautiful property allowing maximum decompression

Hidden gem…..while this home is perfect for families, my husband I used our stay to get away for a few days. So serene…just sat and overlooked the water, birds and the occasional boat sailing by. Our little dog loved chasing squirrels and bunnies. Lovely home with everything we needed. 💕

This was the best VRBO we have stayed in! The house was large, updated, and clean. The beautiful property was way beyond our expectations. We enjoyed how peaceful it was when we sat out with our coffee by the water and listened to all the sounds of nature. The water views were visible from all the windows. We also enjoyed a day using the kayaks and paddle boards. (I was able to check paddle boarding off my bucket list!) We even watched a school of dolphins perform for us on the Potomac. It’s a bit far from the various airports but worth the drive.

Perfection got even better

Our family of five and dog have stayed at paradise point many times and it never disappoints. Recent renovations have, amazingly, made one of our favorite places even better. I would say everyone should stay here, but that will make it harder for me to come back, so maybe not everyone, just those who want to relax in a beautiful location with extremely comfortable accommodations!

An AMAZING weekend away

We visited this property over the New Years weekend and had an amazing time. The property’s views are stunning and the home is spacious yet cozy. Our family of 8 fit perfectly and enjoyed our quality time together. The private beach was gorgeous. We enjoyed walking and taking pictures. Even with bad weather we could sit inside and still enjoy the breathtaking scenery. We definitely plan to visit this quiet, relaxing home again.

Great private location

The house was everything we could have asked for. I’m not sure who had more fun…the dogs or the humans. We prefer private locations and this did not disappoint. Communication with the owner was excellent. We visit the Chesapeake yearly and until now, we have sacrificed something to have the privacy we desire. This home had everything we needed and we are already discussing a return trip.

Listing actually undersells this gem

A perfect location and relaxing house, well stocked and suitable for family with kids or just a lot of grown ups. Water on three sides, very private, a small beach and tons of wildlife. We watched eagles, ospreys and herons up close from the window just within the first day. Our weather was unfortunately very humid and hot but the AC was AMAZING and the breeze off the water made it better than anywhere else in the county. Beds ultra comfortable (not a given no matter what price range the house). Owner responsive and quick turn around on messages via VRBO website. Great WiFi too.Dog friendly, brought our mixed lab who was able to roam and run (supervised of course) because the location is so removed. Will make it our place to stay whenever we’re in SMC.

Fantastic way to ring in the New Year!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. We are a group of friends who have traveled from NJ and NC to meet in the middle each New Year's Eve. This was our 10th property and many in the group ranked it their favorite place we've stayed and would like to break our no return rule to come back again. The house is large and clean with a wonderful kitchen but the showstopper is being able to explore the beaches and get out into nature. Even in winter we spent most days completely outside. We only got one gorgeous sunset but that's ok. We gathered by the fire pit each night and enjoyed stargazing. Thank you for offering your property to others, it was a pleasure to disconnect and reconnect with nature and each other.

Heaven is here

Surrounded by water; stunningly beautiful sunsets; and, a comfortable, updated, thoughtfully laid-out interior made this a vacation spot to remember. No one in my family could come up with one negative. (Ok, maybe the fish weren’t biting from the dock, but me thinks this had to do with the fisherman-lol!) Bring a pot and crab from the dock, as the big boys were happy to oblige. Kayaked to the private beach with backpacks and enjoyed a lovely lunch as if we were the only ones in the World. Definitely bring wood bundles for the fire pit. Relaxing and refreshing! Best thing: in case you forget something, strip malls & grocers are about 15 min away and a terrific vet is about 7 min away; just in case. You’ll not want to leave!

Mindfulness

The property was AMAZING and the view you have to see it to believe how BEAUTIFUL and RELAXING it would make you feel. The house is huge and very comfortable and you can see the river from every window in the house. No matter what the weather is you will be at home and relax. And if you like stones the private beach will be you treasure chest. My family woke up every morning to go to the beach and watch the waves and collect stone, The pier makes you feel like you are walking on water and will make you feel closer to heaven. If you are a yoga person the view from the pier or the house would provide the peace of mind you will need to bring you inner peace even if there are people around. This is property is a hidden treasure. Book and see for yourself you won't be disappointed. The property manager and owner are a phone call away if you need any assistance.
