To ensure a wholesome family environment, we rent to **family groups only**

Just west of the loop at Hwy 79 you will find the lovely Seagull Villas located on 200 feet of the most beautiful beaches. The first level features a beachfront living and dining area, both casual and comfortable, the kitchen and a half bath. Through the sliding glass doors there is a covered porch for gazing at the beautiful view or for access to the sparkling sandy beach. Upstairs, there are two nicely decorated bedrooms, each with their own bath and the master has a covered balcony that also overlooks the beach. The second bedroom includes both a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. Features include cable TV, DVD, dishwasher, microwave, and a stack washer and dryer.

Great location

The location is great. There are a few maintenance items that could be addressed with the doors not closing properly but other than that it was a great experience and nice place to stay on the beach. Being able to step off the porch onto the beach isawesome.

Great location & stay

The location and beach access are definitely the highlights of the rental. Walking right onto the beach was perfect. There were just a few minor things I would update/fix. None of which would deter us from staying again. Great property and the included chairs were a plus. All we had to do was walk outside which is big when you have kids that want to go back and forth.

Great location, easy to find and get into and out of. Walk off the back porch onto the beach. Everything was clean and worked properly.

Clean and adequate

Very clean. Adequate supplies. Had issues with the Splash resort guest setting up in front of us when we were on the beach. The beach was beautiful but was disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy our space because of guests from another property.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay with the great location and convenience of amenities around us. Unit is missing some basic items that most families use-baking sheets, mixing bowl, grill. Would be more convenient especially during busy season to not have to sit in traffic to pick up keys at realty office upon arrival. Should have a key pad like most units. Overall, great stay and would rent again.

Great trip with honest review

We had a great time. First time staying in a house versus one of the high-rise condos. Several outstanding features including two reserved parking spots directly in front of the house, two sets of umbrellas and chairs already set up and reserved for you, and being able to literally walk out the back door and have your feet in the sand. The portion of beach reserved for just this row of houses ensures you are not sitting on top of each other and we had the place to ourselves most of the time. This isn't the fanciest property but its comfortable and has everything you need. There was only one reason I am not giving it a full five stars. There are some very cheap easily fixed maintenance items that could be addressed and would make this property be a five for me. Just about all the toilet paper holders, curtain rods and towel racks are hanging loose out of the wall. They were installed into drywall, not a stud, and are pulling out. Looks like they have been reinstalled in the same place multiple times and the drywall is now stripped out, so the screws aren't staying in place. Although it didn't ruin the trip by any means, it is an annoyance, and these are cheap, easy fixes that would make a difference. Other reviews have cited similar repair issues. Appliances in the kitchen look fairly new and there is an ice maker in the freezer that worked well and was a bonus. Having a keurig versus the old fashion coffee pot would have been a plus as well.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. There were several maintenance type items that the townhouse could use. The location was great. We loved the convenience of being right on the beach and having our dedicated parking spaces.

Place is in disrepair

The place needs some TLC, repairs and maintenance. The hosts need to be a bit more accommodating as well. The balcony door was missing a handle. As were the bathroom doors on the master bedroom. They did send maintenance, however he showed up 2 days into our stay. And after his quick fix, the back does still wouldn't lock. There are no frills and expect to buy everything you need, including trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. We flew in and didn't have a car, so having to go to the office for a key is a bit inconvenient. Then when I just asked for one more trash bag so I didn't have to buy a whole box, I was told I could uber over to the office and get one. The dishwasher won't open because it is too close to the wall. Mold in the washing machine. No toilet paper holders, cracked tiles, broken garbage disposal, etc. . It was not the quality we paid for. The beach is great and the beds were comfortable, though.

We do apologize for the maintenance issues and they have been corrected. While this is a small townhome project that offers direct beach access and parking in front of the door, it does not provide concierge service.

Great location on the beach, AND with beach chairs!

My family so enjoyed this unit at Seagull Villas. Located directly on the beach and across the street from convenient shopping at Alvin’s Island, the location doesn’t get much better! BUT, we were most impressed by the four beach chairs reserved and waiting for us with cushions and umbrellas when we arrived! Since this little detail wasn’t included in the listed amenities or description, we first thought it was a mistake or perhaps a hangover reservation of the chairs from the guests that stayed before us. But, nope! They were all ours, all week. The unit’s furnishings and decor are mostly older and outdated, however comfortable. The beds and pillows were great for us. The unit seemed clean and was stocked with most of what we needed, though a working ice maker would have been nice. Upon arrival, we found the master bathroom toilet to be non-functioning, so we reported it immediately to Sunspot Realty and they sent a maintenance guy over to check it out. He ended up replacing the whole toilet, ultimately - was very polite and not in our way at all. The new one works great, of course. Master bath tub and sink doesn’t drain well, but both serve their purpose well enough. Crazy excessive water pressure in the guest bath shower! So much so that it hurts if you stand to close to the shower head. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend for fellow family vacationers. Thanks so much to the owners for sharing their piece of paradise with us for the week!

Great property great location

We enjoyed being right on the beach. Alvin’s Island is right across the street for any beach items you may need. Tell them you are staying across the street for a discount. This is away from all the crowds but not to far.

We loved Seagulla Villa.

We absolutely loved our stay and the sweet ladies in sunspot reality! I notice as soon as we got there it definitely could have been a little cleaner but besides that everything was perfect. We walked in the door and then walked right back out the door to the beach I don’t know which one you would call front or back.
