Located directly on the beach, the ocean is calm and undertow free. Walk or jog along miles of spectacular beach. Visit and explore the quiet and friendly Mexican town of Bucerias.

This newly built, privately gated, fully-furnished villa has the attention to detail that can make your vacation an unforgettable experience. Its lush courtyard with tropical gardens and a beautiful swimming pool provides the perfect background to relax in.

During the day many activities are available within a short drive. Or, simply take advantage of the on-site kayaks to view the surrounding area.

Casa dos Palmas offers both sun and shade - take your pick. The gentle ocean breezes keep the temperature perfect.

Bring your snorkel gear, and try your luck at collecting your own fresh oysters which abound.

For golfing enthusiasts, it's just a question of which course to play today. The nearest golf course is just 5 minutes away.

Or relax, and just settle back with your favorite book -- and look up to see the sea birds plunging for their meal. You can also see the dolphins at play. And in the early months of the year, you can witness the gray whales, who use the Bay to give birth to their young.

After your day in paradise, casually walk the beach to one of the beach side restaurants in Bucerias for dinner.

In the evening, the rolling surf will lull you to sleep.

Casa dos Palmas is located in Bucerias, and is accessible via Mexican Highway 200 (a new four-lane highway), ten miles north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. Vibrant downtown Puerto Vallarta is just a 20-minute drive.

Located on site are two ocean kayaks. Want to wind down after a day in the sun? Enjoy the smart LCD TV, with satellite feed. A large and varied DVD library exists, or bring a few that you haven't had time to watch at home.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all glass and tableware, cooking utensils, and assorted basic dry goods. An outdoor BBQ grill, facing the beach, allows charcoal grilling at sunset of your favourite meat or seafood.

Complimentary wireless Internet access provided. Bring your device, work 'til 10:00 am, turn on the Auto-reply, and hit the beach.

Deep-sea fishing charters can be arranged.
The English- and Spanish-speaking property manager is on call. Maid service is two times weekly.

For the safety and security of our guests and property, security cameras are installed above the front entrance to the casa, and above the common swimming pool area.

Casa dos Palmas offers three tiers of prices, depending upon the season.

High Season: November 1 to April 30: Regular nightly rate, $250.00 USD per night

Shoulder Seasons: May 1 to June 30 and September 1 to October 31: 30% discount, being $175.00 USD per night

Melting Hot Season: July 1 to August 31: 50% discount, being $125.00 USD per night

A 50% down payment is required to secure the villa. The balance is due eight weeks prior to your arrival.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. Smoking is permitted outside.

This was a beautiful place to stay for a relaxing vacation. Enjoyed cooking the mahi-mahi we caught in the ocean in the well-equipped kitchen with new appliances. We had the pool to ourselves the majority of our stay, and listening to the ocean waves at night was exactly what we wanted. And the restaurant right next door was pretty tasty and convenient. We also enjoyed exploring Bucerias with its market and beachside restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Casa Dos Palmas with my family and absolutely loved it. The place was exactly as described and came well equipped with everything that we needed. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach.

Great escape on the beach

Stayed here a whole week with my family (4 adults) and couldn't ask for a better place. Plenty of space, cold AC, right on the beach, close to Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. Downtown Bucerias was only a 10 minute drive.the restaurant next door was great and had delicious food.

A wonderful retreat

I can honestly say that this the best time weā€™ve had in Mexico. The location is great, the view is amazing and the house is well equipped. Weā€™ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at this oceanfront oasis! A very comfortable and we'll appointed casa on a quiet section of the beach in Bucerias. Morning coffee overlooking the beach and the daily activity, a great swim beach and a shortish walk to Centro. We made great use of the kayaks and the bikes. Everything about this place was very relaxing, can't wait to come back!

Relax and enjoy

Casa dos palmas is a beautiful spot on the ocean. We enjoyed sitting at the pool or on one of the patio areas watching the sunrise, sunset, and the waves and ocean activity. The walk into town is also interesting, however, the amount of construction has taken its toll so watch your step!

We had a lovely stay. Even with babies in tow we were able to enjoy the local amenities of Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta. We highly recommend using Phili for a driver to special destinations - he is a wonderful allternative to renting a car. The house was well appointed, and the setting could not be more perfect - truly a beach retreat!

Wonderful stay

We stayed in the front house and loved every minute we were there. The pool was warm and the view was breath taking from the pool deck. The host was very attentive and made sure to promptly respond to anything we needed. The house had all of the amenities needed such as beach towels and a washer and dryer. Plenty of pots, pans and utensils along with all necessary appliances. The center of BuserĆ­as is walking distance and has better shops and restaurants then Puerto Vallarta.

Casa Caballito was everything that we had hoped for. We spent 5 days enjoying the beautiful home, the pool, and beach. We also did a lot of the suggested excusions, which were fun. However, I wish we would have spent more time just relaxing at the house. It seemed we were always on the go. We would love to return and do just that. It was truly paradise!

Awesome stay in Bucerias

Stayed at Casa Dos Palmas for 2 weeks Mar 29 - April 12ā€¦had a great timeā€¦walked to downtown area daily and enjoyed great meals and a few margaritasā€¦with Sukha Beach Resort right next door some days was a little too convenient to slip over for a bite and a brew Like to give special recognition to Baldo, the property managerā€¦he popped by several times to check on us and he was always available by phone to do whatever he could to help with whatever you were in need ofā€¦he went to the airport to pick up our son when he arrived, arranged taxis for us when Uber failed us again and arranged a driver for us to go exploring areas north of Sayulita and San Pancho All in all we would recommend this property to anyone who enjoys spectacular sea views, comfortable accommodation and an all around great time

Beach House Experience

Property, building, interior excellent & new furnishings, exterior extremely well done and manicured. Nice pool with great view of the bay. Unfortunately the beach was very roughed up by Hurricane Norma-winds which tore up some sand/palm tree areas that made entering the Ocean waters very difficult. The road leading to the property is very rough from much construction going on the bay for several miles.

The casa is wonderful! Everything you could possibly need right on the beach. Baldo was always available to assist with transportation and excursions. He responded quickly anytime we reached out. Gary and Charlene were excellent hosts and helped us with anything we needed. The Casa was everything we wanted and more! Having The Sukha Beachhouse next door was awesome. They had live music a couple nights but didnā€™t play until wee hours of the night. Would love to stay here again in the future.

As promised on the BEACH!

Vary last minute booking for us. But could not have asked for anything more. The casa has everything you need right on premise. We used the stove for breakfast, and the charcoal grill for dinner. The beach is great for taking long walks, then a swim in the ocean to cool off. An authentic Mexican villa. The brick, and stone work on the ceilings just beautiful, as is the rest os Casa dos Palmas. If you are a fish, and seafood lover. Take short drive, or cab ride to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. Head to fish market Del Mar in the marina for the freshest seafood you can get at. Baldo will know where it is. Highly recommend Casa dos Palmas.

Very nice spot on the beach

The listing is accurate- this is a nice two bedroom place right on the beach with a small pool shared with one other unit overlooking the beach. Great place to hang out and as many reviewers have noted it is next door to a really fine restaurant. We walked into Buccerais about half the time for meals but it was nice to just pop next door for friendly service, good food and great cocktails. The walk into town was the one issue- right now the first kilometer of the walk is through a series of very active construction sites where towering new condos are going up. The beach changes from week to week but when were there it was a bit rocky in places so walking on the beach was not an easy alternative. I liked having the music and party noises from the weddings next door but some of our party had a hard time sleeping for one or two nights of our two week stay.

Just what we wanted!

We love Casa Dos Palmas! Gary and Charlene were communicative, timely, and clear with information. The property manager, Baldo, is a gem and handled everything expertly. The house is located in a great spot to avoid crowds and resort trappings, but close enough to everything else to make it fun and easy. The casa, as others mentioned, is very well appointed, so you wonā€™t need to bring much other than the regular travel stuff. The beds are super comfy and the upstairs balcony is perfect for morning coffee. The only thing Iā€™ll say that differed slightly from the both the listing and google images is that the beach is fairly rocky. Maybe things have changed a bit since the listing and the available images, but itā€™s also not a deal breaker. The area immediately out the back gate is nice, smooth sand but expect rocks at the water line and several feet in. Weā€™ll definitely be booking here again and weā€™ve even started to fantasize about possible retirement days in Bucerias. It really is that special. Paradise!

Casa Dos Palmas is the first rental property I've stayed at where the property is MORE BEAUTIFUL than the photos! I loved everything about this place. It is so comfortable, so well provisioned (SO MANY TOWELS!!), kitchen gadgets galore, even a charcoal chimney to help start the grill! The bed was very, very comfortable. Falling asleep to the ocean crashing on the beach just outside was so nice. The pool was glorious. The kitchen appliances are all new, the stove, dishwasher, fridge, living room furniture is new, everything is high end stuff. I originally had plans to do quite a bit of touring around the area (Saulita, PV neighborhoods, maybe Tequilla), but found that I really just wanted to hang out at the Casa. It was really that nice. I used the sea kayaks, walked the beach and had a wonderful time everyday. Olivia, the housekeeper was efficient and very nice, and Baldo, the concierge, was extremely helpful. He was continuously available and gave me several excellent recommendations both in Bucerias (El Bruja!) and in La Cruz (the restaurant at the yacht club for fresh catch)! Wow, so good! I HIGHLY recommend and will certainly be coming back myself!

This is not a negative revue. Just pointing out things that folks may want to know.

Things we liked. Things we didnt. Likes. Unbelievable kitchen, chef quality. Super clean with comfortable beds. Right on the beach. Nice garage full of beach supplies. Dislikes. Too far from Centro. Not walkable. Right on highway. Very noisy. Pool is very nice but unheated No poolside umbrellas no sun protection Wall prevents seeing the bay from pool Water heater too small. One short shower at a time. Lots of nearby construction. Noisy. Wedding facility next door. Very noisy on weekends til late. Restaurant next door very noisy in the morning. Provided bikes are in terrible shape. While we enjoyed our stay, we would not stay again. Not our cup of tea. Beware the beach club restaurant next door. The food is terrible and twice they tried to overcharge us. Unless you can walk long distances, you will need transportation to go anywhere. You share the pool with 2 other Casas on property which is fine and the couples that we met were very nice and seemed to enjoy the property more than us. But to each their own.

Didnā€™t Want to Leave

It was so very hard to say goodbye to Casa dos Palmas as it was paradise! This was our first trip to MĆ©xico with kids (5 and 8) and we had so, so much fun thanks to being right on the beach and having access to a pool every day! MĆ©xico is hot in July, so access to the water was essential. Our GPS wasnā€™t working when we arrived but Gary and Charlene had provided us with detailed directions. When we missed our turn we call Baldo, the property manager, and he helped guide us to the rental. Baldo greeted us and showed us around. He is incredibly friendly and welcoming. While there Baldo organized a zip line tour for us and even took time to drive with my husband to the pick up office the day before. He was incredibly responsive to all our questions and texts and even arranged a soccer jersey exchange with us! BucerĆ­as is in a great location a 20-25 minute drive to Sayulita and San Pancho. 30 minute drive to Puerto and the town itself is the perfect amount of welcoming and busy but not over crowded (at least in July). We also took the kids to a water park (Splash) and El Cora (a crocodile sanctuary). The view of the bay from the lounge chairs by the pool will forever be etched in my memory. As will kayaking amongst sea turtles in the bay. We took the kiddos out on kayaks a total of three times and Baldo was fabulous to track down kids lift jackets for us. We would head back to Casa dos Palmas in a heartbeat!! Thanks so much for all the great memories! ā˜€ļø

We got exactly what we were looking for: a quiet place on the beach with a pool.The property has three units, but ours was the largest ā€” directly facing the pool and the beach. Since no one else was staying in the other units, we had the entire place to ourselves. It was incredibly peaceful.What we loved most:Location: Surrounded by high-rises, but this property felt like a home ā€” warm, inviting, and private.Local Art & Garden: The decorations with all local art were a beautiful touch. The tropical garden was lovely, with birds constantly flying through, landing on the palms, and drinking from the fountain.Thoughtful Amenities: They really thought of everything. The bathrooms were fully stocked with towels, there was air conditioning and fans throughout, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were plenty of Keurig coffee pods ā€” as much as you could drink.Grocery & Dining: We did most of our grocery shopping at the local Soriani Mega grocery store. There's also a beach restaurant right next door. We ate there our first and last night ā€” the food and drinks were okay, but nothing special.Concierge Service: Baldo, the concierge, greeted us and showed us around. He was available to answer any questions about the area and even secured a taxi for us to see the Rhythm of the Nights show, which our hosts recommended. We really enjoyed it!Quiet Atmosphere (Mostly): Be prepared that on Saturday nights, there is a venue nearby that seems to cater to weddings. The disco
