BlueFox: 4 BR 3.5 Bath Waterfront Escape UPDATED 2025!

WATERFRONT 3-story house with 3BR + bonus bunk room, 3.5 Bath, huge dining room open to kitchen, family room with TV & games. Double walkout porches, outdoor fireplace, grill, swing, seating, and private upper balcony overlooking the lake! Dog friendly! (Just email us to line up deposit & fee.)

Enormous yard for games with dog run & hammocks. Boat house and dock with paddle boat & kayaksl! Bring your boat and drop in at the neighborhood ramp just ¼ mile away. We provide corn hole, can jam, Kubb, spike ball, lawn darts & croquet!

There are two bedrooms on the upper floor, a common area with couch and coffee station and a half bath. One bedroom has two queen beds. The upstairs master has a king bed and a private balcony overlooking the lake. This bedroom also has a desk for guests who wish to work from the lake.

The main floor has a large that opens into a huge dining room. The dining table seats 8-10. This floor also has the laundry room and full bath with glass and tile walk in shower. The master bedroom and master bathroom are also on this floor with a King bed, TV, glass and tile walk in shower, large tub, and walk in closet.

The lower level boasts a huge family room with a TV, fireplace, game area and two sets of French doors that walk out onto a covered patio. There is a full bathroom on this level with a tub shower and a room with two twin over full bunkbeds.

Access the wraparound deck from either side of the circle driveway and enjoy the outdoor fireplace, picnic table, and outdoor lounge overlooking the water.

A quick 8 minute drive gets you to a large grocery, pharmacy, ACE Hardware, and ABC liquors. Don't forget the Lake Life souvenir store, Lake Gaston Pizza (GF options), ice vending, and some great food trucks!

Set up a Tee Time and drive 10 minutes to play a round of golf at Tanglewood Shores or bring the whole family for day passes in the pool or jetski rentals.

Don't miss Rosemont Winery! Make a reservation and enjoy a $10 wine flight tasting or pack a picnic to sit on the beautiful lawn. Located 12 minutes from our front door.

Such a wonderful, relaxing vacation

Beautiful, clean home nestled in the woods with a great dock & amenities. This property has everything you need for a lake vacation. From peace & quiet to all the kitchen needs to a dog run for your pup. We had 8 in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone

Great escape!

The house has all of the amenities you need to stay in touch if you want but also the beautiful outdoors to distract you and allow you to escape from reality and just enjoy the lake. Floats, kayaks, towels, grill, fire pit, wifi, it was all amazing! We had a few hiccups when we got there but Emily and Tucker jumped right on it and we were fixed in no time!

Friends Retreat

I had a great weekend at the Blue Fox while spending a couple of days with friends! The house is just as depicted in the listing. The only thing I would note is there is no full bath on the top floor so guests have to use the main floor or bottom floor bathrooms to shower. We enjoyed cooking in the updated kitchen and sitting by the fireplace on the lower level. My group consisted of 6 adults and it was plenty of space.

Amazing

This was the perfect spot for me and my family to get together right before the holidays. The weather was great and the kids had a really fun time on the paddle boat. We had fun in the hammock playing games and roasting marshmallows

Wonderful location

Truly a gem of a find! After our honeymoon was canceled we quickly booked this. It was exactly what we needed. Decorated right out of a magazine and perfect dog friendly place. Only issue was it was hard to get in touch with owners but we didn't really need to. We can't wait to be back!

Perfect stay for weekend wedding

We stayed in this home for a family weekend wedding. It was located near a grocery store and several restaurants. The home was very clean and nicely decorated and was well stocked with games, blankets, cooking spices, toiletries and linens. There were also several outside seating areas to pick from at the house and in the yard. The host was very responsive to questions and was able to provide a late checkout.

Relaxing family getaway

Great place to "get away" for a few days. The house is well laid out with spaces for everyone to gather and also have their own space to retreat to. The downstairs living room and games area was our hangout! We appreciated the kayaks! The house is on a nice cove where it's easy to launch them. This was a great vacation experience!

Emily was responsive and informative the entire time with answering many questions. The house was perfect for our family. The master bedroom was so comfy and the grandkids loved bathtub We did s'mores and kayaks My daughter even lost her glasses in the water and my nephew found them the next day after a $50 reward was brought up Many terrific memories and we painted rocks and left them by the front for other visitors to take So thankful for the time away with our family. Felt safe, secure and happy at the BlueFox

Triad Team Bass Trail Tournament

The property was as described. We had two couples (husband/wife) and two buddies that all stayed for three nights. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only issue which we handled ok was parking three trucks and three boats. Was a little tight but we worked it out.

Great home for the whole family!

We arrived and right away we were excited! Walked in to a very clean and cozy home with everything we needed for our stay! Beds were wonderful! Thank goodness they had games, darts, Firepit fireplaces and Netflix because we had rain, snow and sooo chilly!

A little peace and quiet from NOVA

The owners have done a wonderful job of making the house a home for anyone. We enjoyed the peace a quiet or silence of the lake. We were working during the week, so it was nice to be able to set up and keep going. Internet is a bit spotty, but there will be a new system soon according to hte owners. Don't miss the games in the basement. Our little Boston Terrier enjoyed the walks we took him on and our trip down to the lake. We had quite a bit of rain, but that did not bother us any. Plenty to do in this beautiful home.

Hi Edward! I hope your 2023 is off to a great start. I'm reaching out to our past guests with some updates on our lake house (the Blue Fox!) in hopes of hosting you again. Since you last stayed, we've completely rebuilt the entire deck and dock. We've added swinging chairs, ditched the picnic table, and added an outdoor dining set. The interior has been completely repainted, and we've added a "Ship-to-shore" phone that auto rings from the kitchen to the dock, and vice versa, if you need to chat with the house and don't want to yell or run back and forth! We've got great internet now too. A few new TV's in the house don't hurt either. :) Last year, by the end of March, we were fully booked from April-October. Let us know if you plan to revisit this year, or if you have any questions. We'd love to have you back - and your pup too! - Emily
