Newer Construction Lakefront Vacation Rental as of summer 2021 - with hot tub for winter (only available Oct-April) ! Has 6 beds/5 baths in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes, MN area! Thoughtful vacation focused design, you’re sure to enjoy this family friendly luxury vacation rental, Sleeps up to 17 (11 Beds).

The space
Tucked away in an unbeatable location just miles north of Brainerd/Baxter with lake access on Round Lake- connecting to Gull Lake, this gorgeous sandy beach lakefront property on Round Lake has a flat level lot from backyard to the water- and is just waiting to be enjoyed for life long memories.

Guest access
Private Home/Cabin with direct access parking for up to 5 vehicles. Includes direct sandy shore private lakefront access, a private dock, and all indoor and outdoor spaces.

Non-smoking. No Parties. No pets. Minimum Age of Primary Renter: 25. Hot tub only available from Oct-May. Summer 7 night minimum (Sat-Sat stays only).

NOTES: The lakefront is sandy, but there are some zebra mussels (Gull has them as do almost all lakes in Brainerd area) and occasional weeds. It is extremely shallow out a long way.

The neighbor property was recently sold and they are doing a construction project on the neighbor property to the West. We have no control over this project, it is not our land, but we want potential renters to be informed that it is occurring. Our site and house will still be the same property!

There will be front facing exterior ONLY security cameras on the property. This will face the front parking area/street and neighbor construction (for safety) only. This is in alignment with the vrbo policy.

Fantastic space

We loved our time at this cabin. The space was perfect for us to be together and give us a chance to spread out when that was wanted. The host was very responsive and the cabin came equipped with so much!

Awesome place on round Lake !

Highly recommend this place on round Lake. Easy to find. Very Close to Brainerd and Baxter. Kid activities extremely close. Restraints very close. Access to Gull Lake. Home was clean and spacious. Lots of amenities. Owner and property manager are not good communicators… Great communicators.

Lakeside Bliss in Brainerd

Our family and friends rented this beautiful home in Brainerd for a wedding, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is immaculate, with a beautifully manicured yard and a stunning view of the lake. We enjoyed picturesque sunsets from the dock every evening, with loons flying overhead—a true Minnesota experience. The fire pit was the highlight of our nights, perfect for s’mores and conversation. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful addition of a dishwasher. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were fresh. The host was excellent, making sure everything went smoothly. We would love to return and highly recommend this gem!

Fabulous house

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and their families. We had an infant through 70 year olds. The house accommodated us all. I have disabilities and am in a power a wheelchair. The house accommodated my needs. The flooring was good to get around on with my wheelchair and Hoyer lift, I was not able to use the bathrooms but we had other accommodations in place for that. The beautiful grounds in sandy beach great for kids. The kitchen lent itself very well to large group, cooking and dining. We loved our stay. Matt was very helpful and responsive to all of our needs.

The Gem of Round Lake

We have a large, multi-generational group that takes an annual lake-week vacation. This property served us extremely well. There is plenty of space inside and the gathering spaces are well thought out. The kitchen is perfect for serving a large group. The outdoor spaces offer more of the same, large patio with outdoor furniture, great fire pit area, sand beach, a flat yard on which you can find sun or shade depending upon what you're looking for, lots of dock space, and the public launch right next door is incredibly convenient. The lake remains calm, even in windy conditions and the channel on the east side offers access to Gull Lake. The very responsive owner and property manager are paying close attention to maintaining this top-quality property. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.

Wow! We could not have been happier with our experience! The property was immaculate when we arrived. In addition, it was stocked with everything we needed. Lastly, Matt (I believe he is the owner) was beyond responsive and helpful. We would highly recommend this property to anyone!! Thanks Matt!

Perfect family getaway

Property owner was super responsive and helpful with any and all questions. Property was perfect for large family gathering including kids and babies (high chair, crib, life jackets for kids, toys even!). Lake location was great and yard was perfect for family fun! Highly recommend!!

Amazing weekend up north!

Booked this place before construction finished and it turned out better than excepted! Amazing house, owners clearly paid attention to every little detail (2 dishwashers, multiple TV rooms, bunk rooms, etc…). Comfortably slept 9 guys, will definitely be booking for a family getaway. Hard to beat the location as well, 15 mins to everything! Highly recommended! And kudos to Matt for his timely responses!

Amazing place, Great time!

We chose this property for our family vacation and it exceeded our expectations. We had 15 people total and there was more than enough space both inside and out for everyone. The view of the lake from the main floor is beautiful. The owner and contacts were always quick to answer questions and were great communicators. Our 5 kids absolutely loved the sand area and shallow waters along the shore. Water levels were down this year but the owner had plenty of dock that easily accommodated docking our wake boat for the week. Also note, many property rentals say “fully stocked kitchen” which isn’t always true. However, this place was by far the most well equipped we’ve seen. It had more than enough of your every day items and much more. We would definitely recommend The Brainerd Cabin and are considering booking again in the coming summers!

Beautiful lake home on level lot

Our family included 8 adults and 6 children under age 10. When looking for a lake home to rent for a summer vacation with our whole family, we prioritized what we we’re looking for. Number One is a level lake lot. Next we want clean water with hard sandy lake bottom, and shallow water for youngest grandkids to play in. The dock is new and very safe. There is a sandy beach area for kids and a fire pit that controls the smoke! Also, you can’t even tell they have neighbors! When inside, you cannot hear hwy 371. The location is close to Nisswa and Brainerd! But we never wanted to leave! So then we look at the lake home…this home is stunning! They have two extra refrigerator/freezers and a chest freezer in garage! You walk in and you see all the way to the lake through the great room windows! So impressive! They have big entries with plenty of space for all those shoes and sandals! There is a mud room AND a pantry!! The kitchen has two dishwashers, gas stove/oven, large table with lake views, and very large island with perfect stools especially for children. Two bedrooms have closets large enough for a crib. The mattresses are so comfortable and new! The sheets, pillows and comforter are so nice! The “play room” has ping pong table, a small kitchen, large couch and huge TV! If you have a boat, you can get into Gull Lake chain of lakes, restaurants, etc. Round lake is a good fishing lake. It’s usually quiet- not much boat traffic nor jet skis. But get a lake map so you know depth and rock areas. We did not want to leave!
