Looking for a nice bayfront condo on South Padre Island! Marlin Arms #8 is ready and waiting to accommodate you!

This tastefully decorated 2 bedroom/3 bathroom condo is located directly on the Bayfront. Amazing Bayfront views! Marlin Arms Condominiums is a bayfront condominium complex situated in the entertainment district. This condo is steps away from South Padre Island's restaurants, bars, and retail shopping. Guests will love the amenities this condo has to offer. The fishing pier is a fantastic place to spend quality time while fishing for trout, redfish, flounder, and snook. Rental guests will love cooling off in the tropical pool area facing the Laguna Madre Bay!

The interior of Marlin Arms #8 is nicely decorated with coastal decor. The living area is large and offers two separate seating areas for guests to relax and wind down.
The wall mounted flat screen tv is perfect for watching tv shows and other entertainment. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area for additional sleeping accommodations for guests. The dining area is located off the kitchen and living room. The dining table seats 5 plus there is additional bar seating for 3 more people by the kitchen counter.
The kitchen is nicely updated with granite countertops and backsplash. It is fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils so guests can easily prepare a nice meal!
The bedrooms are spacious and well decorated.

One great feature this condo entails is multiple bayfront balconies! There is ample seating outside on the balconies to watch South Padre Island's famous breathtaking sunsets.
This condo is also located in the direct spot where the firework shows take place! You cant get any closer than this!

The condo also has onsite coin laundry for guests to use and free WIFI!

Every stay at Marlin Arms #8 includes a complimentary starter kit stocked with essential vacation items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee and filters, olive oil, and basic seasonings. For your comfort, we recommend bringing a few personal favorites such as beach towels, sunscreen, extra blankets, bottled water, or baby items. Great pool, location & amenities!

This stay with a great value for the location and amenities. We loved the personal dock that was for the Blue Marlin residents. Also the pool was an added bonus for our kids. The location was amazing being a stone's throw to Louie's Backyard, and the other boardwalk establishments. We could literally walk right across the street to the Adventure Park with bungee jumping, go-Mars, and miniature golf. The condo itself was a little dated, but the furnishings were updated, and had everything we needed. I recommend this unit for families, and even couples to go hit the night life down the street at night.

Had a great time!!

We stayed at the marlin arms 8. The rental was great nice and clean. AC was amazing. the pool and pier kept everyone busy and happy. Restaurants are close and it's right in the middle of night life. Had a great time!!

Great Stay

The fishing lights was the worst part of our stay. We are big fisherman and we had several issues with the lights. The pier lights attract speckled trout, but the light has to stay on for a long period of time to get them attracted to the pier. The light has a timer instead of a switch which was sometimes forgotten while having fun and resulting in the fish leaving the area. The second light never turned on even with a turn of the timer. This was the only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating.

Clean, very convenient,and super relaxing next to all the fun and entertainment. my son loved and enjoyed the fishing pier. We will definitely be returning very soon

Family beach trip

The location was amazing. The condo was not! There was multiple issues: dirty with stuff on walls of bathroom and dead coackroaches, power outlets in all bathrooms didn’t work, the bathroom doors were barn doors that did not fit and were dragging the floor and didn’t shut fully meaning no privacy to go to bathroom. The showers were so small and the doors didn’t stay shut. They also smelled bad. There was black mold around a fan located on master bedroom balcony. The pool was extremely dirty with black mold in it. And to top it off the condo locals towed our car cause it was in their spot to park. No one told us you had to park in your condo number parking spot. We were told you could park anywhere as long as you had your permit in window.

Great location, decent place

The location of the property is great. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Its probably more of a party location than in busy times but was quiet during our stay. The unit itself is somewhat old and outdated. The kitchen is probably the worst feature. It was cramped (basically one person at a time), poorly provisioned, and the refrigerator door was a pain because it swings the wrong way. There was only one coffee mug when we got there but management quickly brought over more. The knives were terribly dull with broken tips and one of the skillets was not usable. The listing said that one room had two queen beds which turned out to be double beds. It was great to have a pool but it seemed to be lacking a little maintenance. We loved the docks behind, especially with the fireworks in the bay. One of the shows was pretty amazing. In all, we were fine with the place because of the location. If you will be out and about, like we were, its a decent place to sleep. Its just barely average but a great location.

Fantastic Condo, location is perfect!

I was a little weary at first, but once I walked in I was fascinated with the layout and spacious rooms! I really loved that all three bathrooms were full baths as well and private exit and/or entry from both bedrooms. The fishing pier was on point and a perfect location to watch the fireworks display. I will definitely be staying again in the near future! Thank you SPI rentals for an easy check-in and check out.

Location was great. It was clean and spacious. the only thing was the window split unit on the master bedroom that did not work on the first day of our stay. They did sent a technician right away but had to wait a day to use the ac on that room.

Perfect location; great condo

We loved the condo and the room set up. The living room space was big and perfect for the family to hang out in. The balcony had the best views for Friday night fireworks. We loved the ease of access to the water and dock to get to our boat. Would definitely recommend this condo and would rent it again.

It was a 3day fishing trip. Great location.

Great location with a boat dock where we were able to dock our boat overnight to have it ready for the next morning of fun fishing. Very near to the entertainment district to enjoy a quick walk to bars or just hang out on the balcony and watch the people walk by and listen to live music from nearby bars. Will definitely stay here again.

Place was great all around. Location, boat slip access, size of the unit and balconies are perfect!! If I had one recommendation would be to get better pillows or bring your own. Other than that we loved the place and will definitely be returning! We had an awesome time and everything was in walking distance.

Few suggestions

The common area could use some attention 1. Front “locked door” hinges bent and almost ready to fall off. Dark and scary- back of building all though fenced big holes where homeless people were entering- nothing to stop them from coming right into common areas. Called police one night because of homeless person entering. Could use some paint Inside condo- comforters in closet were musty , bathroom grout and molding needs to be cleaned very dirty- SPI very helpful

Very nice apartment

If you are planning to come to see the island of South Padre, this is a good choice. The bedrooms were large with plenty of storage. The living room was also spacious. The only complaint is that the kitchen was minimally prepared for anyone who wanted to cook. The pans were is fair condition, and very limited dishes available. Pay attention to the email about suggestions of items to bring. Overall we were very happy with our stay,and would recommend this location.

Weekend Stay

The condo was very nice and clean. Great pool area and fishing pier. We loved that we could dock our boat there. We would definitely stay again. The only issue we had was with the door code. You have to make sure that you pull the door tightly closed in order for the code to activate opening the door.

The BEST Option for Your Money and Experience!

I was impressed by the close vicinity to a beautiful water front and fun activities near the islands main strip! I do feel like the property needs had are for updates and improvements but overall it was a pleasurable experience!

We had a great time the location was wonderful. There was plenty of room for everyone,the guys loved the pier they did a lot of fishing .I would stay there again.

The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. Plenty of room for all of us. My children loved the pool and the gravity park and my husband spent a lot of time fishing on the pier. It was very close to everything we needed.
