OCEANFRONT TOWNHOME STYLE BEACH COTTAGE WITH INCREDIBLE OCEAN VIEWS FROM BOTH LEVELS - Located at The Cottages at Jekyll Island. just steps from the Cottages South Beach Access. 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms featuring open concept living, dining, kitchen, laundry, lower porch, master suite (KING), and half bath all on the entry-level, 2 bedroom suites (QUEEN)with private bathrooms and large covered balcony on the second floor. Sleeps 8 with a pull-out sofa in the living area. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and both a standard and a Keurig coffee maker.
!! THE COTTAGE COMES WITH 4 SEATER GOLF CART, 2 BIKES AND BEACH CHAIRS
In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach deck, community fire pit, and beach access. Guests staying in Cottage 53 receive a 50% discount on food and beverages at McGarvey's Wee Pub located in Jekyll Island's Beach Village.
**Important:** To access the golf cart, complete the cart use agreement sent via email 10 days before arrival.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

Great location, great property, great island!

My family and I stayed here for spring break as we were visiting family in Brunswick. What a wonderful island! The house is everything you need for an active family. Great pool, beach access and great responsiveness by the owners.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great 4th of July on Jekyll Island and this cottage is awesome. Sunrises from the 2nd floor balcony are amazing and the cottage is really nice and comfortable. The golf cart was nice and we biked around quite a bit. I absolutely recommend checking out The Cottages and Parker-Kaufman for your rental needs.

1st trip to Jekkyl Island

Loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful home. Our family rented bikes and took advantage of the trails to explore many attractions on the island. We did a problem that required a call for maintenance and, thankfully, the management company responded in a timely manner.

Beautiful Cottage with Stunning Ocean Views

The cottage is just as advertised; spacious, well designed and beautiful. You can sit outside for hours and just look at the ocean and listen to the waves. It is so serene. Great location, can easily walk to the beach and the pool. The cottage has just about everything you need (toaster, blender, coffee maker) etc so you can just bring your suitcase, book and wine and settle in for a truly rejuvenating respite. Very easy check-in and out experience and timely/effective communication from the management company if needed. Highly recommend staying here!

Clean and comfortable

Cottage 53 was perfect for our family. Fully supplied with the kitchen utensils needed to cook family meals, except pot holders. Loved the air fryer! Had a few issues with the lock on the door but Parker Kaufman team was very responsive and helpful. Tips for this rental, bring extra trash bags, toilet paper, laundry soap, and bathroom soaps. Only supplies sample size soap and two trash bags. They did supply dishwasher soap. Also, bring pot holders and foil for grill.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

The property is a perfect location next to the water. Since my goal was to rest and recuperate, this was the perfect townhouse. My only regret is that i was too weak and sick to climb the stairs often. The 2nd floor bedrooms and deck had the BEST view and set-up to enjoy the ocean. The 1st floor bedroom and deck was nice, too. The kitchen had everything we needed. The Master bedroom suite is perfect. My only critique is that it is time to update the covers and sheets. When i am stronger, I will take another look at Jekyll Island because there seemed to be a lot to see and enjoy in a leisurely manner.

We have been coming to Jekyll for 50 years. My parents are now in their late 70's, my mother has arthritis which is especially bad in her feet and it no longer allows her to enjoy walking on the beach the way she would like. This is our 3rd time staying at The cottages because of the screened in oceanfront porches, from there she can watch the sunrise and see the ocean anytime she wants. This unit was chosen because of that which the VRBO photo shows. However, due to the the overgrown vegetation that cannot be cut you can't see anything. Another reason we LOVE these units is the downstairs master, the stairs are difficult for my Mom. She did navigate them a few times so she coul have coffee and watch the sunrise. We would have NEVER booked this unit. PLEASE update you photos for other families who may have older folks in their party that can't get to the beach as much as they'd like. We noticed the metal outdoor furniture on the back deck really needs replacing also. The unit is decorated beautifully and did have all that we needed.

Very nice house in great location!

House was clean, updated and well appointed. High ceilings on first floor made it feel very airy. First and second floor porches were the place to be - you could hear the ocean from both and see it particularly well from second floor. Easy walk to the beach (which is not available at high tide!). Driftwood Beach is a must see! I would recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Jeckyll Island, especially in late winter.

Semi Annual family trip

We rent 3 cottages, 2 times a year. The area is perfect for the kids to go back and forth with no worries and the cottages are large enough for the 3 cottages to gather in one for birthday cake and ice cream. We LOVE coming back each time! We are already booking for our spring/summer trip!

Very uncomfortable beds

Overall it was a nice place, but the beds are horrible. We stayed for a week and none of us slept good. All three bedrooms had crappy beds, hard as a rock. We won't be staying here again. But the beds are the only complaint

Nice but could have been better.

Gas grill was full of rust. Had to call management to get a toaster that worked and a pull chain on the outdoor fan. Pressure washed the outside of the unit while there and soaked down all the outdoor furniture and beach chairs with bleach and water.
