Wow, We have never had anyone complain about the place smelling like mildew or mold or that the sheets were dirty. He had just completed many months of Chemotherapy so maybe that made him sensitivity to the smells of the tropics. We are confused because his girl friend wrote a great review in our guest book before she left and never mentioned mold or a mildew smell. In fact all the linens and towels were washed and beds made and the place cleaned the morning of his arrival. We do this the morning of each guests arrival. We have on island management and he never said anything to them or me which is strange. We would have re washed everything and remade the beds and re cleaned Casa Azure if we knew he was unhappy. Mold is not a problem at Casa Azure since we are on the water. Where it is a problem is up in the mountains of St. Thomas. For some reason the higher you are above the water the bigger the problem. Casa Azure was totally remodeled two years ago and almost everything is new: new kitchen, new tile inside and out, new sliders, 4 new air conditioners,new paint, new furniture from Bali. We even offered these guests some free days if they would tell us why they wrote two different comments, one in the guest book and this one, but we have heard nothing from them. We have tried to contact him by phone and email numerous times but he has not responded.

Wow, There is a door to a hall way from the master bedroom so there is no reason to go thru the first connected bedroom. Parents with children like to have the kids stay in the first bedroom with the door open to the master so they can hear them. So there are 3 ways to get out of the master bedroom to the kitchen/living room. The door to the first bedroom, The sliding door to the deck and the door to the hall way. All the beds are kings and the mattress down stairs is new. Doug

There is a door to a hallway from the master bedroom that exits by the front door. So there are 3 ways to exit that bedroom!! One is open the door to the hall way and open the door to the inside by the front door.one is thru the first bedroom which parents with young children like .And one is a sliding door to the deck. The downstairs king bed is new! I have slept there and don’t recall any noise. Please come again. Doug
