Ocean View, 3 Bedrooms, Loft, 4 Baths, 2 Carts, BHI Club Avail

Designer decorated home with large decks and a great view of the ocean. An open great room is surrounded by windows offering wonderful ocean and sunset views! Also enjoy the 50' plasma TVs in both the Den and Master Bedroom. Direct TV with extensive movie package. Wi-Fi included. The home has three bedrooms, each with their own bath and tv; along with an extra full bath and an outside shower for your use coming in from the ocean. There is also a loft with a day bed and a trundle bed. New houses have been completed near to the house but there are still good views of the ocean.

The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance, cookware, utensils, tableware and flatware you might need. You will never find yourself in need of a cool drink with the large ice maker, along with an assortment of glassware.

Two 4-passenger golf carts provided, as cars are not permitted on the island. Ride our bikes or bring your own. Located close to Bald Head Island Club, membership available, which offers great golfing, tennis, swimming, and restaurant/lounge service.

If you are considering Bald Head Island for your destination wedding my wife is an event planner, very familiar with service providers on and off the island and the logistics of hosting a wedding there. If you feel she can help please add that to your inquiry and she'll contact you.

During summer and other high demand times a 7 night minimum stay is required.
Weekly rentals are Sunday-Sunday. We have transportation is less crowded on Sunday.

We had a few days of rain but the home was comfortable and well appointed so it didn’t hinder our vacation. Plenty of games, puzzles, and books and the kitchen has everything you need. Great communication from the owner during the tropical storm.

Great week in a great house

We had a great week at BHI! This house had plenty of space and was perfect for our needs. It was nice that each bedroom has its own bathroom. The location is fabulous- close to everything on the island and a short walk to the beach. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. We would for sure stay here again!

Good house, great potential, needs TLC

The house and living space is great. Comfortable living room and kitchen, brand new appliances and the separate ice maker was a big plus. Fully stocked kitchen. There were a few issues with the amenities but owner was quick to respond and provide solutions. Overall a great week. Thank you!

Perfect Week

This cottage is lovely. Great beach access. Expansive decking below offers a shady place to grill and an outdoor shower. Kitchen has all cooking and dining needs. Ice maker is a plus! Comfy furnishings. Quiet location on a good sized lot. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful BHI property

Comfortable BHI house!

Darrell’s house was very comfortable for 4 adults, 2 kids and our dog. It wasn’t fancy and had everything we wanted and was in a great location with beach access just across the street. Darrell was helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to a family of 6-8 people looking for a convenient place to stay!

Great Experience! Beautiful Comfy House!

We are just back from a fun week at BHI! The house was very comfortable and well stocked including kitchen items, linens, bikes, beach chairs, and toys!! The house is just a quick walk to the beach. Family week

This house is updated and very comfortable with golf carts, bikes, beach chairs and a breezy porch. The location is convenient to the beach (a short walk across the street to a beach access). We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful beach house

This was a perfect home for our family for beach week. The house was comfortable and updated and had great spaces inside and out to hang out and enjoy vacation. It is an easy and short walk to beach access to come and go throughout the day. We will definitely return in the future.

Great beach week

We had a great week at this property. We enjoyed spending lots of time with our dogs in the covered deck relaxing and drinking coffee. Easy access to beach that was never crowded. House had great layout, clean. Recommend without reservation.

My wife and I brought our 2 daughters and 3 of their friends. All college girls. The house was fine. I think the 2 golf carts the house provided were the first 2 ever built. We had a flat tire in one of them that took a day to fix. Bathrooms need updating but the house grew on me. My main issue is how little Bald Head provides and how it price gauges you at every turn. Its kinda sad. Hilton Head destroys it. There was basically 1 restaurant to go to unless you want to pay a temporary membership at the club just eat which i did and 3 pizzas cost me $91. Stephanie at the Shoals Club is the rudest on the island. And the women at the ferry checkin are about as nice as a Stomach Virus. Wont go back unless they fix all of their issues and Stephanie is gone.

Everything You Need

Pros - Clean, good location, as advertised, pet friendly, comfortable beds, remodeled rooms, two golf carts, good internet, Directv, pest control service, close to beach, nice owners. Cons - Outside property needs some cleaning, golf carts don't have an enclosure if it's raining or cold, inside doors need fixing, two homes being constructed nearby, rental rate on the high end for a non-oceanfront property. Very happy with our stay.

Fabulous!

This house is in a great location! Walkability to the beach was important for us and it was a very short walk to beach access 15. Beach view was limited due to some newer construction, but still very enjoyable from the side porch which provided all day shade and great breezes (spent lots of time on that porch!). There is a large amount of deck space under the home which was a nice surprise. Plenty of beach chairs sand/beach toys to go around as well as adult bikes. More than enough beach and bath towels were provided. We had two families share this house and there was plenty of seating during meals and while relaxing in the living room. We never felt crowded. Our older girls were in the loft space which was tight with the trundle pulled out, but gave them their own area which they enjoyed. The other kids slept in the bunk room which turned out to actually have a trundle bed as well. It was a big plus that each room (including the loft) had their own full bathroom. Owner Darrell was fantastic and quick to respond with his return communication. Highly recommend this house!

Beautiful home in a great location, centrally located to bhi club, shops, and harbor, right across from a quiet beach. The property owner was also a great guy and very responsive-we forgot a computer and he arranged to have it shipped back. We will definitely be back!

Great time on Bald Head

This was a very nice home in a great location of the island. Extremely convenient to the BHI Club and the beach. Only a 5 minute golf cart ride to either the marina area or market area with shops and restaurants. The home was comfortable and cozy. Nice kitchen. And we loved the loft area! Also had numerous bikes and beach gear all in great condition. We enjoyed our stay here.

We fell in love with Bald Head Island as soon as we arrived. We looked at some houses mostly on a lark and bought the first one we saw! Our first night on Bald Head Island was in our new house. We have been extremely happy with our decision.

The island is great for walking on the beach, biking on streets and not having to dodge cars, and just relaxing. Fine dining and activities are within walking distance.
