Remodeled, spacious and extraordinary property inside Palmas with everything to enjoy in a private property surrounded entirely by nature. In the backyard you have a huge swimming pool, accompanied by a new well equipped gazebo and the main attractions, the basketball court, and the minigolf . All of this located inside the property, additionally, there’s a pool table and a casino original poker table which you can enjoy. Furthermore to everything, the beach is less than 10 minutes away for whoever wishes to benefit from one of Puerto Rico’s natural beauties. All this only approximately 40 minutes from the San Juan airport.

Great extras.

Main house was lovely, but especially appreciated the basketball court, pool, pool table, and outside cabana with TV. The short hike to a “secret beach” was also nice.

We had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Overall the accomodations were great. Only suggestion is to make sure wifi is up and running asap as many people work from home and would enjoy if they could work by computer while enjoying a vacation.

Relaxed stay

Overall my family enjoyed this house to the max, especially the outdoor area. Only suggestions would be a better water heater system (solar) since we had a couple of cloudy days and therefore no hot water and the railings on the main staircase were not steady, but, we made the best of it and had a great time.

Nice place

House was clean and easy to access. Pool and outside covered area were great to have. Spent most of our time outside enjoying them. Standby generator was great when the power went out for a bit. Didn’t effect us at all

Disappointing Vacation

The property is in poor state of repair. There were not enough eating utensils (ie. no knives and forks), the toilets were hit and miss, the doors would not stay closed without locking them. Nothing was well organized and there was not even a working can opener. The furniture was falling apart the house was not really safe for elderly people, with no safety rails in bathrooms or on some of the very steep stairways. The children loved the pool.

10/10 Value for dollar

At around $700/night, it's hard to beat this property for space, privacy, and amenities. My wife and I stayed here, so my review is based on our experience. The owner is very responsive. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cookware. The backyard is large, and the TV in the covered area has a clear picture at all times of the day. The pool is a good size and depth. A few critical notes: The mattresses and pillows are very hard. I had to get a topper to make it through the stay. This isn't necessarily a negative, as some people prefer firmer bedding. Inside, there isn't a real "living room." During bad weather, the sitting area was not ideal for watching TV, as the TV is positioned by the pool table and isn't visible from the sitting area. We ended up watching movies in the bedroom, which wasn't ideal. We arrived at 8 PM, and the ACs hadn't been turned on prior to our arrival. The house was about 87 degrees when we walked in, and it took about three days to cool down to the 70s. The windows and doors aren't high quality, so air/heat seeps in. The main AC unit on the split level works fast, but the ones in the bedrooms took longer. The property does show some signs of being a rental only property, with patchwork repairs and some worn furniture. There's also very little counter space in the bathrooms. Overall, I would rent this place again, but I feel that the photos may be a little dated.

Outstanding

This was a beautiful property tucked in the back of the Palmas de mar gated community, very private only 3 houses on this particular street. The house was huge, perfect for our big family. The owner is very responsive. On the grounds of the community is a downtown square with restaurants and stores which we used once but were adequate. The beaches nearby we didn’t go to because of the Sargassum (seaweed) which was very heavy. It’s only about 35min to Fajardo beaches. Overall was a great property if i come back to this side of the island i would definitely rent again from this owner

Excellent place to stay. This house has everything you need on a vacation from cooking pots and pans to washer and dryer which comes in very useful. Also includes bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. The only negative thing would be the stairs to the second floor as they have no security gate at the top. So be extra careful with small children. Also, the bathroom upstairs in the hallway, the shower water leaks into the hall. Always put a towel outside the shower area!!! Problem solved. Overall this place is definitely worth staying. Will definitely stay there on my next visit.

This property is one of a kind inside the Palmas residence. You are not going to find a motive to leave since it has so much thing to do and for the whole family to enjoy. Spend the day outside where you have a fully equipped gazebo with a complete bathroom and complete kitchen. Half basketball court which no other property in Palmas has, a wide 20x30ft pool and mini golf around the backyard. Amenities for the whole family and most important, all of this exclusive inside the property and surrounded by nature. The house has a central air unit, where you will also find a pool table, a original casino poker table and the beach is only 5-10 minutes walking distance. From the master bedroom you have a ocean view and can watch the sunrise every morning from your balcony if you wish. Every room has A/C unit.

The unique benefits of this property is definitely the back yard. The half basketball court is unique in Palmas, the fully equipped and wide gazebo gives you the commodity of staying outside all day if you wish, the huge pool and the minigolf around the backyard to have fun with the entire family. All of this with the only neighbor being the nature which is a feature not common in Palmas del mar.
