Summer trip

Beautiful house, perfectly stocked kitchen! Everything we needed to be comfortable for a week. The sprinklers did come on too often though.

The house was gorgeous and well maintained. The beach access walkway was only a short walk and easily accessible. Our stay was in February so we didn’t make much use of the sun deck but would have been a great place for warmer weather. The house was very well stocked and had most everything we needed. The view of the beach was partially obstructed by vegetation in the dunes but since we know how important that is to the environment it didn’t bother us at all. Great place to stay and would highly recommend.

Thinking about a repeat

The house was perfect. Well appointed. Even some extra TP, paper towels, trash bags, detergent. High end finishes. We forgot to sign the guest book but we plan to go back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Another wonderful vacation on Jekyll! We love the island and our accommodations were all we hoped for with extras. Our only disappointment was that the rooftop patio was under construction and the beach availability w/high tide. Neither of which the property management could help. The house was decorated nicely, linens and beds comfortable, kitchen equipped well and the layout fit our needs.

Family gathering at Jekyll

We had a lovely time at 10 Tyler. The location was great, with easy access to the boardwalk that led to the beach, and close to the bike path. The second floor deck was a wonderful place for morning coffee and evening wine. We were surprised that the largest, nicest bedroom didn't have an en suite bath, but rather one across the hall. Our only complaint was the mattresses in 2 rooms were uncomfortable. The bed in the back room almost felt like you were on a blow up mattress. But the house was very well equipped and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Vacation 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the house. It is roomy and close to the beach. There are a few areas that could improve the stay. The mattresses are too soft on the queen beds. There is no storage in the bunk bed room. Why not have 2 double bunk beds and put storage on the very bottom one? This would still have the house accommodating 10. And the grass should be cut before a new family comes. It was very high when we got there and it was Wednesday before it was cut. There were not enough towels for 10 people. But having tile throughout the house is wonderful. 3 bathrooms is good. The set up of the house is perfect. We also enjoyed the screened in porch. We come every year as a family-37 years-and we like this house the best.

Great trip!

Really enjoyed our trip to this property. We spent 5 days here and had multiple compliments from family with how well they liked the place. Plenty to do on Jekyll Island. Highly recommend!

We had some significant problems with doors upon arrival that were quickly taken care of by Jekyll Realty; kudos! We really enjoyed the open interior living space and the pleasing contemporary decor. 10 Tyler's close access to the beach was very appreciated with our three little ones! We had a good week at Jekyll and hope to visit the Island again.

Great for Families

The house was setup perfectly for our family. Plenty of room, well appointed, everything you could ask for in a home away from home. The owners have thought of everything you would need to “live” there during your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, both in the house and on the island. Days were spent on the beach, and touring the island. Nights were spent laughing, enjoying each other’s company and a few games of Clue. Would not have changed anything about our stay.

Definitely enjoyed our stay at 10 Tyler. Very clean, roomy and comfortable. Grandkids loved the bunk beds! Such a short walk to the beach too.

(11 of us) and SO many fun things to do on the island. We spent lots of time on the roof top deck watching the waves. We cooked together and had big family meals. The house had everything we needed. It was a lovely visit.
