Great host. Clean, well maintained. Stocked with enough dishes to cook Christmas dinner. The pool heat was excellent the whole time. Great location, to walk to resort pool . Comfy beds in all rooms. Very well decorated. Plenty of room.will book again

Great Stay for Summer vacation

This home is very nice and set up perfectly for a large family. Check-in was easy and smooth, and the location is convenient—close to stores and everything we needed during our stay.The house has plenty of space with 4 bedrooms (one downstairs and three upstairs) and 3.5 bathrooms, which worked great for our group. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel at home.One thing to note: access to the water park and gym required an additional 35 fee, which I originally thought was included. However, for a family of four, the 35 was well worth it and added extra fun to our trip.

Underwhelming

As I walk in there was a trash bag of recyclables left on kitchen counter, two baby rattles left by outdoor pool, and washed up mulch soil on patio by pool.H very The check-in process takes quite a bit because of traffic and one lane for new guests needing to check-in and returning guests.We did feel secure with armed security and 24/7 security.There were quite a few burned out light bulbs in the kitchen. I used a dining chair to stand on and replace the overhead bulbs. I found the extra bulbs above the hoodrange. When I messaged owners, they replied with a thanks and we will change out lights for the next guests. This was day 2 into a 10 day trip. The couple they left in charge with immediate needs were very responsive and sent maintenance over same day.We were surprised to need permission from home owner to adjust the temperature in the townhouse. It was locked by a PIN on the NEST Panel.There was an exposed ceiling light in one of the children's rooms. Overhead fans would be a great upgrade in 2 of the rooms to battle the heat and humidity.The carpets were worn out and need to be changed or different flooring that can keep up with the volume of guests throughout the year. Overall we enjoyed being away from home but wish a few housekeeping things were taken care of prior to arrival.Beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the comfortable layout of home.

Perfect resort property

The property was nice. The on site pool was a little small for kids to rompus in but the resort pool in the community makes up for it and its with in walking distances of the house. There is everything you need near by. Pack garbage bags, laundry pods, dish washer pods and all personal hygiene products as these items are not provided.

Fun resort and good location

The overall experience was positive. The pros: the house layout and pool area was nice. The unit had a good amount of bedrooms and hangout space. The walk to resort pool/lazy river was super easy. Communication with the owners was pretty timely. On the negative side, upon arrival we did have to mop the floor and cleanup their garbage bin that was supposed to have only bagged garbage in it. Cleaning when we first arrived was not ideal. Most of our issues were resolved except the power issue in both upstairs bathrooms. We reported the issue to their maintenance as they had to call an electrician to fix the issue which never happened. So we had to go the entire week with no working outlets in both bathrooms.

Great location and amenities

The Solterra Resort is great! The heated private pool was just enough to warm up in on the cold Florida nights while we were there.

Good rental for families!

Overall my family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. Clubhouse pool and overall proximity to other attractions was nice! My biggest concern was not enough necessities like trash bags, soap, etc. but overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners were great with communication. Would recommend!

Nice space but a couple inconveniences.

My family was overall happy with the stay. My only complaint was all the expectations or listing of things to be followed. I had to go to the market several times for things that should have been provided. No trash bags, a little tiny bar of soap, no coffee. I shouldn’t have to go to the store to buy a bag of coffee when I would have to throw it away for the length of our stay. Same for trash bags and laundry soap when expected to do your towels before you go. The outlets did not work in any of the bathrooms upstairs. The laminate is coming off the cabinets. The spa when it kicked the heat on sounded like an electrical issue. The home was comfortable and spacious, decorated cute, and the beds were comfortable.We enjoyed playing volleyball and the pool area the most.

Great place away from the busyness

We came down for a cheer conference and wanted to be away after being around lots of people. It was a 10 min drive to great restaurants and groceries. it is a 30 to 40 minute drive if you wanna go to Disney or Universal. Traffic here is terrible. Orlando has grown so much in the past few years it isn’t the same Orlando I knew it was five years ago. Just be prepared and leave a little earlier. The pool area wonderful. Get there early to get a good seat. Your private little pool area is an a perfect place for breakfast and to listen to nature. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place. The ease of checking in and the communication management was great.

Davenport vacation 2024

Very nice property, very spacious and quiet. My favorite part was the pool in the back of the house. There is also a larger pool at the clubhouse which provides a gym, a food grill with a vast menu, and activities to do like jewelry making and crafts. The only negative thing I found annoying was entering and exiting the main gate. Because there are so many guests and residents at this property, getting in and out was quite dangerous. I think if the complex corrected this issue, it would alleviate the fear of getting hit. There were employees at the gate, so it would be helpful if they could help navigate traffic. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! Would definitely stay again!!

Great stay

Very quiet and clean. 35mins from Legoland and about 15 from medieval times. Plenty of room for everyone in our group.

We loved it

We loved the property and its close proximity to the clubhouse. The only recommendation I would have is to have more bath towels and wash cloths per bathroom. We basically had one towel and wash cloth per person for 5 days. I would recommend bringing extra towels. The couch could use an upgrade but if you aren’t in the house much it’s not that big of a deal. Other than that it was great and we would definitely stay again!

Good location, good Resort amenities for Families

Solterra Resort is a nice place. Our kids enjoyed the community facilities and having a pool at our condo was great. Need to plan extra time to get to Disney. It is about 40-50 mins by car for to traffic.

Great Stay!

It was great! The pool and gym we really enjoyed. They had tvs in all the bedrooms which was great for everyone. Big dinning room table and 4 bathrooms!Close to the airport and all the Disney Parks! Its located in a great facility. Would stay again!

Enjoyed

The house was spacious and comfortable for my family of 5. Host had open communication with us and made sure we were aware of checking in process etc. The only thing I could possibly say we noticed was the vents were dusty and we have allergies so it affected us nothing some meds can’t fix though. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will keep this place in mind for next time.

We decided to buy a vacation home because we needed the accommodations that hotels could not provide (full kitchen, privacy, and extra space!). We love to use these homes but also share the joy with others. We take pride as these are our private selection of homes and have done plenty of research to find the perfect resorts. These are our babies and we have upgraded and kept in a immaculate condition. We have given it lots of love and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
