Luxury 3B Condo - Modern Decor and Best Views!

Welcome to "Boosie's in the Sky" where you will enjoy uninterrupted majestic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bath condo has mountain contemporary décor that will make your vacation a rejuvenating and relaxing experience. It is located on Sugar Mountain within close proximity of all attractions in the area. The condo features two king-size bedrooms and a third bedroom that has easy sleeping for four. The owners spared no expense on comfort as each bedroom along with the living room has ceiling fans and flat-screen televisions. There is a portable a/c upstairs and downstairs that will keep you nice and cool in the summer months. If you don't want to eat out, it is no problem as you can whip up your favorite meal in the upgraded kitchen which has all stainless steel appliances. In the wintertime, curl up on the sofa and enjoy a nice old-fashioned wood-burning fire in the fireplace. Wi-Fi is provided. The unit has a laundry closet. No pets. No Check-in on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests are required to sign a rental agreement upon booking.

Beautiful and Cozy Mountain Retreat

The condo was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for and enjoying the fall weather.The only hiccups were that the management company forgot to send the check-in code—we were lucky to reach someone before they closed—and the coffee maker was missing its pot, so we had to make a trip for instant coffee. Thankfully, they replaced it the next afternoon. Overall, a lovely stay with minor bumps.

I loved how nicely decorated it was and how cozy it felt.The area was peaceful and the stay was relaxing overall. The only issue we had was a bear breaking into our truck overnight, our first night there but there was info in the unit letting us know that bears are in the area. We had no idea they could break into vehicles though! The rental was conveniently located near Sugar Mountain ski resort where we planned to go for the weekend. I would definitely rent again through this property!

Cute but Noisy

This was a very cute condo with excellent views. Unfortunately, the windows and doors need some updating. We were expecting to be able to use the back balcony but it was duct taped(!) shut with a sign reading 'please do not open the door'. The upstairs bedroom was nice but the windows rattled in the wind. The front door had to be pulled shut HARD to make sure it was closed. It was nice to be able to use the fireplace. Kitchen was well equipped, heaters in every room, nice to have laundry machines and wifi. Be prepared with four wheel drive if you are going during winter weather. We almost got stuck in the parking lot as it nor the 2 adjacent streets do not get plowed. We were thankful there was bus service to the ski resort! Otherwise, we would not have been able to get our car down to the resort due to the icy roads. Be aware the snow making machines are loud enough to hear in the condo.

Nice Villa with Views of Sugar Mountain

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in this villa. Although we didn't do any cooking, the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the place was pretty well kept. Just a few disappointments, but nothing that would have kept us from renting again... There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathrooms, only a bar of soap. There was no coffee for the coffee maker. Not expected, but a couple of Keureg cups would have been nice. The biggest disappointment, was that the sliding door to the patio/balcony was duck taped shut and there was no access. The views are part of the reason we booked and it would have been nice to enjoy them from the balcony.

Beautiful location and place but difficult to get into.

We really loved the location and space, but we could not get into the place on Friday night. Nor were we able to contact the man who was supposed to be available for difficulties the entire weekend. He didn’t answer his phone or return any of my calls. His name is Jack Anderson I believe. Also, the office who was managing the property was also closed the whole weekend bc of the holiday. We left Friday night and spent the night in my son’s dorm and returned the next day. My son was able to help me get the door open Sat afternoon. The automatic deadbolt was hitting the metal bit in the door jam resulting in the lock trying to turn but unable to. We were able to get it to function by one person pulling the door towards us with the knob and the other person putting in the code. We were thinking we would have to drive all the way home, so we were relieved to get in. The space was great, gorgeous view and spacious accommodations. We never heard from the managing company about not being able to get in, so I’m glad we figured it out. I would like to figure out how to get a partial refund. Spending the night in a dorm wasn’t what we had planned for Friday night. Also, the fire alarm was barely hanging on and would randomly squawk. We think the battery was jiggled whenever we closed the upstairs door moving the battery contacts on it which wasn’t totally reassuring. As my son said, “aren’t those the most important things in a place-the lock and the alarm?” Otherwise, great place!

Rental Pros and Cons

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Your vehicle MUST have 4 wheel drive or chains to get to this location in ice or snow. The cabin has a nice view and is a quick drive to the slopes. The king bed downstairs is actually twin beds together with a connector. (Not comfortable for a couple but would ok for kids). The bunk bed room could easily hold 6 kids if they are willing to share double beds. The upstairs master bathroom door doesn’t fully shut. Cabin was clean and nice but you are only provided one kitchen trash bag and one dishwasher detergent per day of your stay.

Vacation with the Colvard’s

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Best place we’ve ever stayed...only issue is the sliding glass door leading to the balcony let’s in a lot of cold air. Appears the seal in the door needs replacing...besides that the place was great. The only other issue was the resort office mentioned charging a $50 late check our fee but I called 45 mins prior to check out letting them know we had a couple of sick kids we were dealing with and would be out later. I don’t think we ever got charged so I assume it was just a communication issue. I’ve used this resort agency for several years and will continue to do so.

Great views!

Very comfortable with good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Fireplace was amazing! Cold air coming from glass doors made it chilly in living room. But overall, I recommend this place!

Fantastic spot for a ski weekend!

Worked perfectly for a ski weekend with two families of 4. Everything we needed was provided and the place was well appointed, clean and cozy (especially with the fire place). We will be back!

The front desk and in particular, Hannah, were very understanding and were able to find me a cancellation and a place to stay for the extra night with my kids - I was very grateful. Hannah is extremely professional and a credit to the resort office. She is a natural at customer service and totally genuine. she will be successful in any customer service role that she grows into in the future and an absolute pleasure to deal with both on the phone and in person - thank you Hannah for making my mistake a non issue. Both accommodations we stayed at were very comfortable, clean and well situated. We had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend Resort Real Estate and Rentals to book with for any stay at Sugar Mountain. I will certainly be using them again and will look for Hannah when checking in

The property is located within minutes of so many things to do...Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, zip lining, gem mining, great restaurants. We did all of these in the two night/three day stay. And the property has an amazing view of the area from the deck. Highly recommended stay.
