Once again we stayed at the Mountain Breeze and it is a very clean, comfortable, beautiful and spacious house. Excellent location and great host.

Wedding weekend

We were in town for our sons destination wedding. The house was very comfortable and gave us plenty of space for the 2 families staying there. The game tables were perfect for the young adults to pass the time.

Beautiful vacation home, great for larger groups

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful vacation home. We were an extended family of 10. Amazing views, good location, clean, spacious. Lots of seating and space to spread out, the 4 bathrooms and extra beds were helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the foosball and air hockey tables and also being able to park in the garage in case of bad weather. House is well maintained and check in/out process was easy. Would recommend. FYI- We visited in the spring, but if you stay in the winter you’d need 4 wheel drive given there are some steeper streets to get to the house. All are paved though.

Terrible Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrive our house was filthy beds were not made trash still in the kitchen dirty towels. We will never rent agin from these people they did not compensate us for the inconvenience, they put us in a different house for one night then had to get all of our stuff back into original place

Thanks for your feedback Billy. We're very sorry that we had to move you for a couple of nights, to a much more upgraded property with a hot tub and several additional amenities, so we could repair something at the property before moving you back to the original place. You ended up staying at the other property for 2 nights, not one because you enjoyed it so much. We did move you within about 1 hour of you guys arriving to the original property, to an upgraded property for a short duration of time, and then moved you back once the repair was taken care of. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

The rooms were spacious the furniture was lovely and comfortable. The only downfalls were that there was only one towel per person which means we had to wash every night. And we had to buy our own toilet paper. Which wouldn’t of been a big deal if we didn’t known about it ahead of time. We did have some issues with some outdoor plug-ins and couldn’t get anyone from the rental agency to answer a phone calls But those are minor inconveniences and we had a great time and enjoy our 4 wheeler vacation. And we never did figure out why they didn’t mow the lawn? But It did give the deer something to eat in the morning

Thanks for your feedback Sherrie, it's certainly appreciated. We would have been happy to run up more TP with a request, but we looked through all of our communication and didn't see any. We provide 2 extra rolls per bathroom and that's usually enough for a 4 night stay. Thanks again for staying.

Family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was beautiful. The grandchildren enjoyed all the games that were in the house. There was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We had 12 family members in the house but only had 9 bath towels provided so that was an issue. Also all 3 propane tanks were empty when we arrived so could not use the grill or fire pit until someone left 1 the next day after we contacted them by text message. The fire pit never did get used as the connection was broken. A big disappointment for the grandkids. Leaving messages on the phone number provided was not possible since the mailbox recording said the mailbox was full. The house was pretty clean but the yard was not maintained. Lots of deer and wild turkeys in the area which was fun to watch. Close grocery store was nice. The directions to the house were clear and key code worked.

To cool upstairs you have to freeze the basement. Even with this issue, you cannot go wrong with this vacation rental. Great place to stay. Bed were comfortable / Great Firepit / lots of entertainment lots of fun / outstanding location to Badlands - Custer State Park - Mt. Rushmore. Recommend this place for everyone.

The house was great!

The house was exactly what we were expecting. We were surprised with the paper products that were stocked like tissues, toilet paper and paper plates, as well as dishwasher detergent and hand soap in all the bathrooms. We loved the deck and fire pit table. We found fire roasting sticks under the huge grill so we were able to have s’mores. The kids liked all the game tables. Our only negative was the basement, that had all the guest rooms but one, was really cold at night. Thankfully we found plenty of extra blankets in the closets.

Mountain View’s and Great Location for local activities.

Nice house with all the amenities needed. Beautiful views of the Black Hills and centrally located to hit all the popular tourist locations. Such as Mt Rushmore, Keystone, and Devils Tower.
