Welcome to Turtle Turn Villa!

Prepare to unwind!
Our house has been remodeled top to bottom. We have tried to provide you with all the conveniences that we enjoy whenever we visit other vacation homes. The house has two separate and private master bedroom suites. Each suite has its own bathroom, shower, closet, and ac unit. There is also a separate 1/2 bath off of the great room.


Just look at our reviews and you will see how happy our guests have been. Our home has a great room featuring an open kitchen, expansive dining peninsula, and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and can satisfy any needs from cooking full meals, to providing a place to spread your snacks and drinks. The living room has a 50-inch TV with dish connection, a CD player with Bluetooth capability and a DVD player. Just off the great room there is a half bath and laundry for your convenience. We recently added a split unit AC in the living room and have also added more panels and batteries to our solar system!

Once you step out on to the deck, you may not want to go back inside.

Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets in comfort while overlooking an unobstructed view of the Caribbean Ocean. From your vantage point on the deck you can watch the pelicans and other birds dive for their meals, watch turtles, sea rays, dolphins and even occasionally a small shark. Polarized sunglasses are recommended and help significantly with viewing the ocean. If you need to cool off, take a dip in our plunge pool. No matter if you want sun or shade, there is ample space for lounging on our 1500 sq ft deck.

The VRBO rental home described here that gets the rave reviews is the one story house (see picture). The 2 story structure is occupied by a full-time (lucky!) tenant. These two buildings are completely separate with separate driveways and entrances. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Awesome place to stay! We loved running around the island finding things to do and having this place to come back to at the end of the day. The pool was a favorite for our kids. The house had everything we needed for the stay and Jill was amazing to work with! Her response time and communication were spot on. We'll miss this place and are so grateful for all the memories we made while in St. Croix!

Great spot

The place was perfect for us. We enjoyed being away from the hustle in town, and enjoyed the beautiful view in the mornings with a cup of coffee. The pool was perfect! Jill was a great hostess & was always very prompt at responses if I needed anything.

We had an amazing time!

The house had everything we needed, the views were spectacular, the location was great, and Jill was incredibly helpful and responsive. The layout of the house was perfect. With two couples, we each had our own bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of the house. The open kitchen and living room area was perfect while cooking. The deck felt like it went on forever with separate little areas- a couch, high stools, dining table, and lounge chairs by the pool. Chairs to take to the beach and beach towels were provided, which is great so you don’t have to pack or find a place to pay for chairs. Markets and restaurants were fairly close by, but open hours seemed minimal at times, so check before you go. We used Lori from Island Chick Catering one day- the food was fabulous- and Prince’s taxi I would recommend when you don’t feel like driving or if you want to do a tour. The sargassum seaweed was plentiful, unfortunately, Beryl was to the south of us and pushed a ton of it to our shore. This really did not affect our love for the house and hope to return at a different time of year. The beaches on the northern side were a bit better- especially Southgate!- and not too far away. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Trip of a lifetime

Our trip to St. Croix was amazing in part to this magnificent property. The deck overlooking the water was our favorite part. My kids love the iguanas sunning themselves in the trees. We had one who came to drink water from the pool. The beds were comfortable and you really didn't need air conditioning with the breeze that came thru the doors. We did use it in the bedrooms at night. The house has everything you need for a great time on the island- beach chairs & towels to borrow, even sunscreen & bug spray were on the counter for us. Jill was very responsive to questions & I never felt like I was bothering her. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great time in St. Croix.

The Perfect Reset

I travelled alone for 4 weeks and had various family members visit me. The house is spacious and perfect for 1-4 guests. The majority of my time was spent on the deck or exploring new beaches. I recommend a Jeep. I was able to get to many secluded beaches around the island.

Perfect Get Away!

Pelican Perch exceeded our expectations . The property is private yet within striking distance to restaurants, shopping and other attractions. The view is amazing and the property itself has a wonderful feel….a home away from home!!!

Stunning View on Quiet End of the Island

Pelican Perch is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. Well stocked with all the essentials you need for a relaxing getaway. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms have air conditioning. We had three adults and felt comfortable during the entire stay. The house is at the east end, almost to Point Udall, so it is quite a trek to Cane Bay and the calmer waters of Fredericksted. No worries though, there are plenty of beaches near the house, but a rental car is a must. Great Stay, highly recommended!

WONDERFUL STAY

We stayed for 17 days at Pelican Perch with family. The view is incredible, the location was quiet and off the beaten path and the house and pool were perfect for our needs. We will rent again!

Family Vacation

Overall this house was a relaxing oasis with amazing views of the ocean. We were looking for quiet family time and we got just that. Pros- quiet location, pool and deck have amazing views, host answered questions and quickly resolved a small pool issue, house is well equipped with ample space to spread out, wildlife viewing from the deck is a joy! Cons- ants in a few locations of the house, finding out there was a renter in the additional building the day before arriving when the listing specifically says it will not be rented if you don’t use it (did not see them but windows overlook deck and pool), being asked to allow a for sale showing during our stay (host did make other arrangements when we declined)

Tropical Paradise

Pelican Perch is well situated at the quieter East end of St Croix overlooking a beautiful expanse of ocean to the South. The home is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay, while leaving ample storage space for your stuff. With every room facing the ocean and big sliding doors, you can't help but wake up happy and relaxed to the sounds of the waves lapping the shoreline. At the end of our week at Pelican Perch, no one wanted to leave!

Caribbean Amazing Staycation

Listening to the ocean waves and viewing the gorgeous waters made a totally relaxing two week vacation. Iguanas, turtles, bananatwits, oyster catchers, and pelicans were such fun to watch. The house was so well equipped for grilling and eating in. We enjoyed our daily rides to various beaches and restaurants during our stay. Pelican Perch was fantastic!

Great house for a group

Had a great long weekend in the house. It was bigger than we expected and fit all 11 of us (4 adults, 7 kids) easily. The games were a lot of fun and we enjoyed the wood stove. A short drive to Mount Snow, and to the fun amenities at Chimney Hill (pool, arcade, skating rink). Owner was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Turtles and pelicans, oh my!

Property is more lovely than the photo’s show. The villa was beautiful. More than that, waking up every morning to the sounds of the surf and then drinking your coffee watching the pelicans dive for fish and the turtles (2 we think) surface for air. Pure magic! Jill was very responsive to our questions and a great host. The villa is a 20 minute drive from everywhere in the East End of the island. Check out Ziggy’s. Live music on Mondays! Grapetree beach is 5 minutes away. Definitely worth a look. In short, could not recommend this place more!

Our family of five, With our kids ages from 11 to 17, had amazing experience. The home was far superior than advertised. Although the pictures are beautiful they don’t do it justice. Oceanside Island Vibes

This is the perfect home to relax and unwind oceanside while enjoying all the surrounding beauty. We embraced being on island time by starting and ending our days on the patio! Plenty of seating, shade and amenities provided. We enjoyed taking a dip in the pool to cool off and watching the lounging iguanas. The home was well stocked with all the necessities you would need and more. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is provided with much appreciated extras like insulated cups and beach chairs. We found the area to be quiet and safe during our stay. I’ll forever be dreaming of those views!
