A luxurious oasis awaits you at Sterling Shores 317 - Sterling Gem. Perched overlooking a lush spray of palm trees at one of the most desirable resorts for condo rentals in Destin, Florida, this getaway destination is sure to please.

Decorated in a cool coastal theme that perfectly accentuates the beauty of the nearby beach, Sterling Shores 317 is soon to be a favorite for groups of six. Two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large covered balcony complete the space, well-furnished from top to bottom and outfitted with everything you’ll need during your vacation. Sprawl out on the living room’s sectional after a day under the sun, unwinding with a movie on the Smart TV before venturing out to some of Destin’s best restaurants. A walk-in closet in the primary suite has plenty of room for your vacation essentials, and primary bathroom invites you to relax with a walk-in shower and standalone tub. The balcony looks out onto the resort, enticing you down with views of the pool and the main attraction – our glittering Gulf waters.

Ready to head to the beach? Guests have their own private beach access directly across from the resort at the Sterling Shores Beach Club. Only a few steps away lies soft white sand and the brightest water you have ever seen. On-site beach vendors are available each day during the season so that you can rent chairs, umbrellas, and other beach gear. In addition to enjoying the beach, you will also have access to a fitness center, grills, and more. As guests, you even have access to the two different pools at Sterling Shores. The first pool is the main, resort style pool that is unheated, and the second is a beachfront pool heated during the winter months.

Beautiful condo

This was the nicest condo and everything was clean and decorated so beautifully. The bed was comfy and loved hanging out on the balcony. Would definitely stay again

Overdue Destin trip

Family vacation

We spent a week at this location. It has been kept up, looks just like the photos and has all the items you will need. The view is awesome and is across the street from the Back Porch restaurant. We had no issues at all at the property.

Disappointed

Master bedroom toilet overflowed the first night. No one came to help us resolve this issue until later the following day. Guest room toilet also would not flush during this time. We were forced to go use the public toilet on the property all the way downstairs by the pool. After the issue was fixed, we flushed master bath toilet twice and issue happened again, we were unable to use this toilet for 90% of our entire stay. The guest bathroom toilet continued to have issues flushing off and on throughout our stay as well. After calling the # provided in check-in documents, I was informed by Jason that we would receive a credit for at least one of the nights we stayed since we had no toilet to use at all. I have yet to receive a credit as promised…overall, very disappointed in this experience.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that your stay with us fell short of expectations. We here at Southern strive to make every Guest experience with us as pleasant as possible. I understand that your stay fell short of expectations due to the property not being held up to our standards. Our records indicate that you reported that the master toilet overflowed, and the guest bathroom toilet was not flushing. Upon further review of the work order, I do see that a vendor was dispatched to the unit and was able to unclog both toilets the first time but was dispatched again to unclog the toilets once more. We do sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and can assure you the issue has since been resolved. I hope you can provide us the opportunity to regain your patronage with Southern Vacation Rentals. We look forward to hosting you again in the future here on the Gulf Coast. Not worth the Buck for this Hotel

Upon Arrival we arrived early to get a feel of the hotel. I saw a desk area since I thought it was part with the hotel I asked the lady if my room was ready she goes no this is Vaca rental very rude telling me I would have to contact the people who I did my contract with to have my room key passcode. She was very rude and said they would have emailed it to me which they did upon us getting there to open the door the lock code did not work. And then again told them that it did not work and that I would have to contact property management to see if they could help out. Once again no one cared no one did anything for us. Staff do not even care they don’t take away your trash anymore like they used to you had to take out your own trash they do not provide any beach towels at that hotel the elevators do not work at all none of them good luck using the stairs. When we get to the room it is actually very nice but once we got to the cooking part the pans are very old And rustic, The plates were broken pretty much. I myself like to cook. I think next time I will take my personal pan. I have to say I am very upset the way this property Sterling Shores has gone downhill. We came last year and our stay was very excellent but unfortunately I cannot say the same this year. Other than that the rooms are spacious and they do have a great view which was very amazing that they even did an amazing job at the way it was decorated the modern beachy vibe. Next time I will definitely choose a different hotel to go to when it comes to going to Destin.
