This beautiful 4 bedroom, recently renovated, modern farmhouse is conveniently located just 10 minutes from both Woodstock and the village of Saugerties at the base of Plattekill Clove in the Catskill Mountains. Enjoy the stunning 5 acre property with hiking and biking right outside of your door.

The house features plenty of areas to gather and connect or to cozy up with a good book or movie. This four season home is just 20 minutes from Hunter Mountain for great skiing. Our family absolutely loves being outside on this property. From the multiple lawn spaces, the charming pond for fishing, the quiet screened in gazebo filled with comfy furniture perfect for rainy days, there is something for everyone. The large built-in firepit is just what you need for those colder nights and smore-making sessions. The 50 foot deck on the back of the house is perfect for soaking up the sun and the mountain views. If you prefer shade, there is an retractable awning above the outdoor dining table adjacent to the brand-new gas grill. There is a beautiful and brand new 20'x50' salt water, heated, in-ground, fenced pool with retractable cover to enjoy during your stay (May-September).

Upon walking into the house you will be welcomed by 30 ft. cathedral ceilings, with large windows providing excellent light. A gourmet kitchen has double ovens, a gas stove, vast granite countertops, and a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, baking, and entertaining. The dining area which overlooks the back deck includes a large farmhouse table that easily seats 10. The open-concept living room features a 30 ft. native blue stone gas fireplace. There is an oversized couch and additional seating, perfect for streaming the app of your choice on the 60 inch flat screen TV. Kids and adults alike will love the game room above the garage, with a ping-pong table and an arcade-style basketball game for some fun-filled competition. Also on the first floor is a bedroom with a king sized bed and ample closet space. Across the hall, you'll find a queen-sized bedroom with a sliding glass door opening onto the deck. Beside this bedroom is a brand-new, full-sized bath.

The second floor includes a lofted den-space overlooking the living room, where you will find books for all ages, instruments, games, puzzles and cozy seating. There are sliders off of the den, opening onto a balcony with sprawling views of the property and the mountain beyond! Down the hall you'll find a lovely bedroom with twin beds and a desk. Further down the hall is the master bedroom with a king sized bed, a gas fireplace and an on-suite bath. This bath is appointed with a double vanity, beautiful stand alone soaking tub, and shower stall with a rain shower head.

All linens are included with this rental, as well as a supply of soap and paper products. There is a blow up, twin sized mattress. A pack and play is available upon request.

This area of the Hudson Valley has so much to offer. Amazing restaurants, art, music, shopping, skiing, biking and hiking are all within a short drive. We provide a house book with recommendations of our favorite places and things to do "upstate" and will happily discuss further recommendations if asked.
