6 Deer Run Lane is better than the rest... The house is a beautifully updated single story, grade level home, including hardwood and tiles floors, high quality furnishings and a private pool. Located in the Baynard Cove / Heritage Woods neighborhood, it is a fantastic beach orientated house with direct access to the famous bike / walking path that take you through all of Sea Pines amenities and beaches. The large patio / pool deck is in the completely fenced in rear yard along with separate areas for lounging and bar-b-queuing. Just behind the property is access to the famous Sea Pines bike paths so you are just steps away to pedaling or walking to the best beaches on the entire island, with South Beach Marina and Harbour Town within minutes without ever getting into a car. The house is also convenient to all of Sea Pines excellent golf courses.
The main living area contains sofas and seating with a view of the outside patio and pool. There is a 47' LCD TV with DVD, and lots of room to spread out. There is also a full bathroom / powder room just off the kitchen and entry foyer convenient to everyone. There are 3 bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a KING bed with a full bath; a second bedroom with a queen bed and an en suite bathroom; and a third bedroom with 2 twins that can be converted to a single, King size bed. The primary has a 32' LCD TV. Additionally there is laundry room with space for drying wet items.
Cooking and eating in the kitchen and dining areas will be a pleasant experience. The kitchen is bright (skylight provides natural lite) and contains all necessary, quality appliances. There is plenty of space to prep foods on the stone counter tops. Small appliances, table service and cook ware are plentiful. The dining table which seats 6 is orientated with views of the living room, kitchen and the rear pool / patio area. and you can seat another 2 - 4 at the kitchen table or island bar.
In the rear yard there is a smooth shaped pool and a very large pool deck. All weather exterior furniture and comfortable seating allow you to relax and even eat your meals outside if you would like. A large surface, gas grill is conveniently located, but out of the way, just off the rear patio can be fired up so you can bar-b-que your favorite fresh foods. The landscaped areas in the fenced in back yard provide absolute privacy while being only steps away from the Sea Pines bike path giving you convenient access to all Sea Pines has to offer. The front yard is also nicely landscaped and a long driveway plus a car port provides ample space for multiple cars. There is also an outside storage room to store bikes and beach and pool toys.
It is truly a home away from home, with every amenity you can ever want to lounge around and relax while at the same time being very convenient to all Sea Pines and Hilton Head has to offer. It gives you a choice: 'to do' or 'not to do', either way you will enjoy. GREAT HOUSE - GREAT LOCATION

The house was amazing with plenty of room for all. The Sea Pines area has tons of activities to stay as busy as you'd like. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the pool but the beach is 10 min by car and was fantastic as well. I would advise anyone looking for a perfect spot to chill with your family- this home is it!!!

Great beach location
If you are looking for a smaller house, this is the one! With 3 BR's and 3 Baths, it is so easy for a small group. Great proximity to the beach for walks there as well as getting around Sea Pines. Will try to stay here again!

Great location
We really enjoyed our stay on Deer Run Ln. We loved how easy it was to get to the beach and spent a lot of time in the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed and the carport had extra beach chairs and beach toys which we took advantage of. The bathrooms and some of the furnishings could use some updating but overall everything was great!

Relaxing vacation
It is a nice property. Love having a pool and garage and having our dog with us. The only drawback was the living room furniture was worn down and uncomfortable. Overall a great property.

Sea Pines Stay
Loved our time in Sea Pines. The house was as advertised and well situated in the community. Short drive to any activity and a long walk or bike ride to the beach. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed, pool small but cleaned twice while we were there. Mosquitoes were annoying…but that South Carolina marsh land for you!

Comfortable, relaxing house. Great location: easy to walk/bike to beach, South Beach, and/or Lighthouse. We visit HHI 2x per year to visit friends. This is a nice place to stay with our pups (fenced in yard & pool are great). Plus, the kitchen is well appointed so that it is easy to host friends for a meal.

Overall positive experience
Our visit started with an unexpected issue but the owners were quick to respond and ensured that the matter was resolved to our satisfaction. The house is nice for a small family with lots of fun games and a convenient location adjacent to the bike path and an easy ride to the beach.

Has great potential
The house itself was great however there is a strong smell of animal urine throughout the house. The ants on the pool deck kept us from enjoying the wonderful back yard.

We apologize for the smell of urine you may have encountered during your stay with us. Please know both our cleaning company and property manager, cleaned and inspected the house prior to your arrival and neither commented on this issue. If either one had, we would have done something immediately. That said, despite our best efforts, our love for our dog and desire to have him vacation with us as many of our guests do without issue, we have reconsidered our dog policy moving forward. While we will remain dog friendly, we will be allowing dogs on a case-by-case basis. We understand this can be a little inconvenient, but we want ALL of our renters to be able to enjoy the property and not be concerned with issues similar to what you encountered.
With respect to the ants on the pool deck, while we have an extermination company on a quarterly basis come to the property to treat both the interior and exterior areas, we cannot monitor and control the ants direction of travel through our yard on a daily basis.
In closing, we appreciate the "Has great potential" heading, as we agree it is a fantastic place to unwind and call home for a week or more, and if you decide to come back to the island, we would be happy to have you all back as our guests.

Lovely home in a great location
We truly enjoyed our week at this home. House was clean and comfortable. The fenced in yard was a plus since we were traveling with our dogs. Easy access to the beach via the bike path directly behind the house . Only disappointment was too much shade in the backyard. The pool and yard were shaded most of the day. Also the backyard landscaping needs some work.

What A HOME away from HOM...
What A HOME away from HOME!!
It had everything to make my family, especially my girls (ages 3 & 5), feel at HOME! We enjoyed so much the cleanliness, the pool, and all the extras it had. There were plenty of pool towels, cooking items, the decor of the home was so comfortable....... I could go on and on. We will be back to enjoy this lovely and very convenient to everything HOME!

Nice but a bit dated
Great location - nice to have fully fenced yard for dog, overall fine for the price. A reasonable value and we have rented many on HHI. Happy we rented it. Close to beach and bike paths. House is simply a bit dated. Rotted wood exterior, all doors hung inside out on back but safety not a real concern. Noisy sheets - not sure if starched or what - takes a couple days to acclimate. Again, good rental.

The doors would not shut tight, there was a mold on the kitchen ceiling, pool - ok clean, mosquitoes were getting in through the cracks. Beds- quite outdated. For the money we paid- not a good value.

Nice house, had refrigerator issues.
Owner notified us refrigerator was being replaced via email during our travel day. We only learned about it upon arrival after we purchased groceries for the week.
Owner promised a $250.00 check to make up for the 3 days without a refrigerator but never paid.
House was nice but would not rent because of owner not keeping his word.

First, we do take any and all issues that arise at the property seriously and respond in a timely fashion in an effort to rectify same. Obviously the house and property are not an issue, as the renter's review is titled, "Nice house". That said...
The Renter is Correct: The refrigerator did fail right before the renters week was to start and it was replaced as quickly as possible. We did notify them in advance of their stay and arrival on the island, apologized for the inconvenience and offered them what we thought a generous credit back as well as had our island manager offer to pick up ice as maybe necessary for the initial 2 days of their stay.
The renter is INCORRECT: The check in the amount the renter stated in his review was promised was ISSUED, admittedly it took some time, but we were in communication with the renter, and appreciated their patience in our late credit back due to coordination / electronic banking miscues..
Notwithstanding, now the house does have a new refrigerator and stove in 2019 (stove also failed this past season), which is great for future renters.
And lastly - things may not always be perfect, but we DO communicate to / with our renters and DO keep our word.

Winter Break
We had a wonderful time in The Sea Pines Resort for our children's Winter Break holiday. We really enjoyed taking long walks with our dogs and the proximity to the beach was very nice. The house was clean and it had all of the amenities that we needed for the week. The back yard was very private and backed up to the biking/walking trail which provided a straight shot to the beach with just a short 10 minute walk. Due to the seasonal weather we were unable to enjoy the pool and outdoor grill. However, the pool area made for a nice environment and the dogs enjoyed exploring the fenced in backyard. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms was very comfortable for our family of five. We mostly ate our meals at the house and the kitchen and dining served its purpose well. The counter bar was also a nice feature and the living room couch was very comfortable for our evenings of watching movies. We really enjoyed our time as a family and as long time visitors to Hilton Head the property and location was entirely what we expected given our previous experiences and price point we expected to pay. Sea Pines has a lot to offer as a destination and definitely worth the visit.

Piece of paradise
It was nicer than pictured. The location was amazing. The doors to the backyard were a little tricky, but once we figured it out it was not a problem. I loved that my dog was welcome there! We had an issue with the a/c, but when I contacted the property manager, he responded right away and it was fixed within a few hours! The only thing that was disappointing was that it said there were some beach gear there which we did not see anywhere. We had to purchase chairs/ umbrella. It was nice that a bike rental company dropped off bikes for the week and picked them up when we left. That was very convenient. Some of the finishes were worn a little, but it was adequate for our stay. I would definitely consider staying there again!

Great location, beautiful house
We enjoyed our stay - the house was freshly painted, clean, and spacious. Our kids enjoyed the pool, and the beach was only a 5 min bike ride away. The bike path runs right behind the house, which is in a great location for easy rides to Harbour Town, South Beach, the Shops at Sea Pines, and Lawton Stables. The kitchen is well stocked. We would stay again!

Location, privacy and easy beach access!
As shown in the lead picture, the pool is really fantastic and gets great sun and stays warm even during our late-May visit! What you can't see from the picture is just how private the pool is, surrounded by beautiful big trees. The house has a private access direct to the bike path which is a straight shot to the beach - literally - and the trees provide nearly complete privacy to this amazing convenience. We did have a few challenges during our stay, some were corrected within hours by the property manager (a light for the grill as the starter didn't work), and a couple went uncorrected (the primary shower did not drain efficiently and the digital key pad ceased working on Tuesday of our weeklong stay). We let the owners know subsequent to our stay, and they were super apologetic, and vowed improvement, which I hope you all experience during your visit! We would likely stay again for the location and amenities, and to give the owner a chance to follow-up on these items because the location and privacy are just too fantastic!

Delightful stay
We very much enjoyed our stay at 6 Deer Run Lane. The house was very clean, bright and airy. The bike path is directly behind a very private backyard and the walk to the ocean was shaded and took less than 15 minutes. I returned to the ocean each evening since I found the walk so pleasant. A very quiet and pretty neighborhood..... hope to return!
