THREE BLOCKS FROM 1 VOTED RESTAURANT on the Island- FUEGO DE MAR. Centrally located Mid Island and 1 block from the Caribbean Ocean. Steps away from the coastal nature walk leading back to Playa Norte, voted top 7 beach in the world. The Island of Isla Mujeres is just a 15-minute ferry ride from Cancun, Puerto Juarez . The Island is ranked the safest Island in the Caribbean with the Mexican Navy stationed on the island. Golf carts are an awesome means of transportation ask about our recommendations and best pricing. Our mid island location makes for a perfect spot for your vacation needs. Many restaurants all within 3 blocks as well as several convenience stores. We are 1 Block from a public park and 1 block from scenic coastal exercise and trail walk. We are located just 10 minutes from the famous Playa Northe, or find your own spot from the 100's of beaches on the island.

The house was built on one on the highest spots on the island, which always provides constant, awesome, ocean tropical breeze. The view from the roof are spectacular. Sun rise and sun set.

• For people that enjoy walks, A 20 minute (or less walk to the south you have Rincon Cubano (Very popular) Ruben’s, Beachin Burrito and SIX, a convenience store and several small beaches , down a little farther (still about a 20 minute walk from the house) the newly opened DeNuccios a New York Italian restaurant that is amazing . A 10-minute walk to the north towards the village of Meteorologico you will pass Medra food and art voted best burger on the Island, Villa La Bella (very nice beach bar voted best Margaretta on the island ) Caribbean Brisas (One of my favorite for eats and drinks) The famous Mango across the RC Chapel of Guadalupe (on the Sea) and down just a little farther is Mike’s Pizza (really good) We have 6 convenience sprinkled thru out this area.

• We are very involved with the Only Animal Rescue on the Island. By providing housing during the annual Spay/Neuter vaccinate Campaign. A 6-day event where 60 Veterinarians from countries all over the world come and will treat over 1300 animals. Free of cost. The clinic is 100% Donor based. NOTE this home has a few neighborhood furry friends that will come say hello and might just follow you into the home. One is Honey she is a mix lab and a sweetheart. The other is what has been called the house cat. this is also a very sweet cat that will just wait at the door and not push her way in she most likely will just say hello and go back to napping on the table in the entry.

• We have made every attempt for you to have a vacation of your dreams. Our main focus of this concept is privacy, security, safety and beauty.

Casa Kim - First Floor

The property was in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas so we enjoyed the peace and quiet in the evenings. My five year old daughter loved the rooftop pool as much as we did. Can’t wait to come back and visit!

Friendships are forever

We liked the location. We loved the roof top pool and AMA ING sunsets. The views were panoramic!! We had a wonderful time with my High School friends. We rented both Casa’s. Thank You Rob and Kim.

Quiet but convenient

Overall we enjoyed this property. It was quite roomy, had plenty of space for parking, a nice rooftop pool, and comfortable beds. Owner provided plenty of towels, including beach towels. Also, the neighborhood was quiet but it was easy to access restaurants and the beaches. We would recommend an awning on the rooftop deck that would provide shade and seating in the living room that is not hard and uncomfortable.

Casa Kim was perfect

We rented the whole place. My friend and her husband stayed on the 2nd floor and we stayed on the bottom floor. The entire process getting in the place was smooth and the place was better then we even expected. Their is s pool on the roof which is beautiful and shows almost a 360 view of ISLA. Pool will only be better once the Bar, BBQ and Restrooms are finished. Property Manger was awesome as well as the rest of the staff. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

Clean apartment, lovely rooftop pool

Overall our stay was great. Easy to get around the island on a golf cart, great restaurants close by. Could use a few more towels when staying more than a few days, as we had to use our towels about 8 times. The pool lights didn’t work, the benches could use an upgrading as they aren’t real stable, and the kitchen faucet wasn’t working without squirting all over us and the counter. Lack of hot water in kitchen was a bit frustrating. Even with all that being said we enjoyed our stay… thank you… too bad your neighbour wouldn’t clean up their yard a bit

Recommend this house - but had terrible island experience

Wonderful house! Must have the mojitos at Fuego Del Mar. Can't say enough good things about property manager, Alfonso, who went out of his way to help us deal with a problem with the Ferry, UltraMar - TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience with them losing our luggage (fell off the ferry into the sea! Caught on video!) Due to the location of the house, you will want to have a cart or moto to get around. We also recommend spending a day at Kin Ha. Its free - just have a couple of drinks. There were just a couple of issues with the property. The front door handle easily slides off but doesn't cause any problem with getting in or out of the house. The kitchen sink faucet can only be set on spray and there is some over spray with this so you have to be careful using this. But still, great place to stay. Costs $5 dollars or $100 pesos for a cab ride to the north end beaches.

Not for everyone

The primary reason for our lukewarm review is that we lost power for a handful of hours three days in our six day stay. The first time was the first morning we got there. We hadn’t gotten settled yet and so had not charged our phones over night. We woke up to dying phones, no internet to make necessary arrangements for the trip, or ability to make coffee. We contacted the host and it took him 6 or more hours before he got back to us, acknowledging that the power outages were a known issue. Throughout our trip he reiterated multiple times that power loss is a very common issue. Had we known, we wouldn’t have booked the place. I need reliable internet (something the house description boasts) to check in on work. If we had been adequately warned and decided to stay anyway, we would have brought back up battery powered devices, like my toddler’s white noise machine which she relies on to sleep. There were other no substantial glitches as well; the house has no house number making it very difficult for take out and taxis to find. The cats (which guests are warned of in the listing) have left a strong odor on the outdoor furniture, making the space uncomfortable for people with allergies. But mostly, we were turned off by the host’s cavalier response to the electrical issues and failure to appropriately warn guests.

Great home

Great home to spend time with family. Roof top pool was great. Hopefully the palapa will get fixed soon as really hot with no shade. Very safe Mexican neighbourhood but you defiantly need a golf cart as needed to get groceries, go in to town or to a beech club.

Excellent location, wonderful host

The owner was wonderful at communicating with us and helping us arrange everything during the trip. What a great trip! The location of the casa is wonderful and we felt safe the entire time! We would love to come back soon!

Before we purchased this home it was named Casa De Josefa. We were going to buy it as a vacation home that would be for my wife and I. Plus friends and family. After reading all the amazing Reviews about our home we decided to keep it going for you all. I just wish we could transfer all 34 Reviews over 4.6 stars or Excellent. If your looking to see what some guess have said let me pic a few. Nov 2015 Cari E " My husband and I booked this as part of a very last minute trip in late November 2015. This was our first time on Mujeres as we are frequently in Cozumel. We LOVED Mujeres! This Casa was just as pictured and beautiful. The location was wonderful, on the quieter side of things. The rooftop offered a beautiful view of the ocean. The owners were very communicative and sent us a lot of information prior to us leaving. There was also plenty of information on hand at the Casa as well. It was well furnished and very clean. We would absolutely recommend it and would stay again in a minute."
