Location is key when you want to get away to a mountain retreat! Southern facing and situated on a completely private lot, High Creek Cabin provides a relaxing retreat and more! When you first step out of the car, you hear rushing water sounds of the beautiful hidden creek just next to our property, and you will take in the majestic views of our mountains at nearly 4400 ft. high. We are private, but not isolated, with easy access on paved roads allowing year-round rentability! It's only 3 miles down the mountain (on Fie Top Rd) into Maggie Valley, 2 miles up our road to Cataloochee Ski Area and Horse Ranch, 15 minutes to charming Waynesville, 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 25 minutes to Cherokee, and 45 minutes to Asheville!

Our beautiful home boasts a large open living area with 30’ ceilings, a wall of windows that offer abundant light and views, a stone fireplace with remote gas logs and all hardwood floors on the first level. You are greeted upon arrival by a large screened in porch with dining table, an outdoor gas grill, a corn hole set and rocking chairs overlooking a mountain top view.

There is a Master Suite on the 1st floor equipped with a King bed and adjoining full bath. The 2nd bedroom on the first floor also has a King bed with full bathroom located just outside it's door. The second floor Suite has two (2) Twin-over-Full Bunkbeds with a dedicated full bathroom. The loft also has a Queen pull out sofa bed, allowing our cabin to sleep up to 12 people.

The carpeted loft overlooking the living room is filled with entertainment for all! The area includes a foosball table, cocktail arcade with 110 classic video games (Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Tetris, etc.) and a large TV equipped with DVD player and movies. You will find a Satellite TV in every room (5 total), UNLIMITED WiFi internet*** , a well supplied kitchen, new linens & towels, games, books, and movies. We have a fully equipped laundry room that includes a sink and front load washer and dryer.

Escape to our private fenced backyard to enjoy the firepit, or simply relax in our rocking chairs while listening to the sounds of the hidden creek. If you're feeling adventurous, continue through the the gate and explore the hiking trail that follows the creek.

This is also a DOG FRIENDLY home complete with a doggie door leading to the fenced-in backyard. We have dog bowls, towels and pick up baggies to make your vacation as easy as possible! Please note there is a one-time pet fee to cover additional cleaning required. Additionally, the property has DOG BREED restrictions. Please contact us for the comprehensive list.

Lastly, OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS will find hiking trails, fishing, rafting, skiing, shopping and nearby golf courses. Or you can simply take Mulligan's trail, just off our driveway, and hike up to the horse pastures and top of the mountain whenever you choose! There are also several local Breweries and a Distillery located within a few miles of the property. We hope you will enjoy your retreat at High Creek Cabin!
