Looking for a spacious beach get-a-way? You'll love this open midcentury modern beach house on Fourth Walk. Located at the quiet end of the community just one house away from the beach with ocean views--you will definitely know that you are on vacation here! Enjoy outdoor living on the large covered front porch and open back deck with comfortable seating and ocean view. NEW IN 2024: new roof and insulation under the roof, new light pine paneling on ceilings, upper walls, and in kitchen and hallways, new kitchen with new appliances, new washer, new furniture, all new front decking, and all new exterior trim. NEW IN 2025: all new bathroom, all new back bedroom with improved storage, sanded and refinished oak floors, and new on-demand hot water heater, NEW IN 2026: AC and heat added. An elevated back deck with more ocean views, shower, outdoor furniture, patio umbrellas and gas grill was added in 2022. AMENITIES: flat screen smart tv, Bluetooth speaker, and improved Verizon WIFI. The new well-equipped kitchen provides equipment and new appliances for every cooking need. The kitchen opens onto the spacious dining porch with screened windows on three sides updated in 2024 with new ceiling, floor and patio door. The newly-renovated light and airy master bedroom has a queen bed, ocean view, new closet and ceiling fan. The other two bedrooms feature two twin beds in each and new windows added in 2020/2021. Fans are provided for all rooms. Hot and cold water showers are located inside and outdoors. Washer and dryer with linens provided complete the beach-oriented amenities. This house is ideal for a family or mature adults. Rentals for a minimum of one week. Try it--you'll be glad you did! 5% DISCOUNT FOR MULTIPLE WEEKS

RENTAL DETAILS: Turnover day is Friday--no exceptions. Check in Friday 4:00 pm. Check out Friday 11:30 am--penalty for late check out.. $400 Security deposit required. Cleaning by professional cleaning service provided BUT house must be left as found. Guests are expected to wash, fold and place linens and towels on each bed before checking out. MUST BE OVER 30 TO RENT.

Our Happy Place

We had a great stay at Davis Park. Linnea's beach house was the perfect beach getaway! The house was clean & provided any and everything you can think of- even beach gear/ toys (which was a hit for my 3 year old). Our days were spent sitting at the beach, clamming in the bay & our evenings were spent on the dock watching the sunset. This particular boardwalk is very quiet and exactly the relaxing time away that we needed. Linnea was the most perfect host! We kept in touch in the weeks leading up to our stay and she was attentive to any of our needs during our stay. We look forward to spending more time at this beach house.

Sweet beach house in a wonderful location

We loved our stay at Linnea's property. The location was wonderful—the house is located at the end of town (which meant the beach was not crowded at all!), one house away from the beach, so we could easily walk back and forth in our bare feet all day long. The breeze from the ocean felt amazing. The view from the master bedroom was very peaceful. The covered deck was the perfect place to take an afternoon nap. The house was also well-stocked with all the things we would need for a great trip. The kitchen contained all the tools we would need to make homemade meals, and when the coffee maker broke, the owner quickly had it replaced. All the beach essentials were included. It was very thoughtfully fitted out. Davis Park was such a wonderful, friendly community to vacation in and this cozy beach house was perfect for our needs. We loved our trip!

Wonderful beach vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed are time - the house is perfect. Just steps from the beach and with all the amenities we needed. It was a pleasure to work with Linnea who was kind and readily available to answer any questions. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful location, ocean breezes

The home had everything we needed for the house and beach. Location is great. House stayed relatively cool even without a/c because of ocean breezes. Would recommend the property.

A vacation to remember!

This was truly a wonderful house. Perfect for young kids! A very short walk to the beach. Fantastic views! Everything we wanted and more! We would love to make this a yearly tradition! Thank you !

Great house in perfect location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique house just steps from the beach. Great white-water views from front bedroom and rooftop deck. Fantastic screened-in porch for dining. Good gathering spots in living room and front deck. Outdoor shower is great. Have stayed in other Davis Park properties--our best so far.

great location and wonderful staz

We had a great stay, in a wonderful spot and a lovely house. We loved the terrace and the space which was at our disposal. The beach is a few steps away and we had a daily visit of friendly deers who live in the Park. The house owners are very nice and friendly. We hope to come back soon!!!!

Beautiful sunset and beach access

Excellent common room to spend time in. Beautiful dining room with christmas lights, outdoor shower. My favorite part was the bedroom wall sized windows with ocean view. Everything you need in a beach house.

Little piece of heaven

I grew up visiting Davis Park and worked at Watch Hill for years so was thrilled to return and find such a perfect house. The master bedroom looks out at the ocean as does the deck and the living room. The roof deck offered a private getaway after an outdoor shower on return from the beach!! The wildlife strolled by us sitting on the deck with little regard for us, adding to our enjoyment. The kitchen was well stocked for our preparing meals(when not enjoying the Casino for dinner!!) and the screened dining porch was delightful. Imagine having dinner with the ocean breezes and the sounds of the breaking waves. Hope to return soon! Soooo relaxing.

Relaxing location: VERY close to the ocean

We had a fantastic experience at Linnea's house which is located one house from the ocean. The master bedroom basically has ocean views. The house is comfy and well equipped for any needs. I grew up staying in Davis Park and haven't stayed the week in over 10 years. I realize now why i have so many positive childhood memories of this place and not much has changed which is part of the charm. Its truly a magical place and this house is perfect for 4-6 people. Thank you Linnea and we look forward to renting again this year!

Glorious Week of Relaxation

This house was amazing: A stones throw from the ocean and the bay and a nature trail that extends west into the core of Fire Isalnd. The house was neat, clean and had everything we needed for an excellent vacation!! Highly recommend !!!

Location Was Everything

I had the pleasure of staying here with a group of 6 friends. We all live and work in Manhattan and this place was perfectly located in Davis Park. As promised, it was quiet and secluded since it's further away from the ferry stop than most of the other houses. It was also incredibly close to the ocean side making it easy to run back and forth to grab food or anything that you need. We stayed a total of 2 weeks - 1 in June and another in August during the summer of 2012. Definitely would return.

Beach Sanctuary

I returned to Davis Park after 20 years away in order to finish writing a book needing a quiet getaway in nature. I chose this house on 4th Walk at the end of the community so that I could walk the empty beach towards Water Island daily or walk the other direction for miles past Watch Hill into the great beyond of National Seashore. I also liked being strategically between the beach and bay, able to hear the surf at night, access to colorful, long sunsets over water on the bayside. I was able to kayak way past the community both ways, bird sanctuary, floating grass islands, quiet labyrinth of salt marshes. The house was perfect for my family. The kitchen was easy and functional, well-stocked for every need. The dining area was a lovely screened-in nook that my kids loved to gather in. The rooftop deck was secluded and completely private encased in green holly trees. The front deck was comfortable in the mornings and refuge out of the sun. The living room and master bedroom were spacious with high ceilings. The owners were attentive and gracious meeting all needs. The neighbors were lively and friendly. The beach was empty in the mornings and during the weekdays- glorious! I was able to commute back and forth easily into NYC to work driving or taking the LIRR. The ferry schedule was not very convenient and local shopping always rushed. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives, and look forward to returning again. I avoided the Casino Bar and Harbor Store preferring to carry in and cook my own food.

Relaxing week at Davis Park

Our family of 5 stayed at this wonderful Davis Park house during the summer of 2010. It had been many years since my husband & I vacationed at Davis Park & this house made us remember why we used to love going there so much. The owners were very nice and provided us with lots of information. We would definitely rent from them again!

Beautiful Retreat

I can wholly recommend this unique place on Fire Island for entirely quiet and peaceful holidays. With a family of 5, we found plenty of room in the well kept and highly functional wooden house. The Atlantic Ocean with its clean white sandy beach is less than 100 yards away, the bay side with its warm water and sand full of delicious clams less than 200 yards.

They particularly like the ocean views, the paintings of local scenes, and the great ocean breeze which keeps you cool all summer long. You will love the location--very quiet and away from the hustle bustle of Leja Beach.
