True Pride of Ownership is clear to see when you embrace yourself in this Deluxe, Large 1 Bedroom. Unit A210 is located on the south side of the complex, providing ample shade to the Lanai and allowing for a cool and calm breeze to come in off the ocean. Lanai space offers guests or owners seasonal sunset viewing & beautiful ocean views.
The property boasts Central Air Conditioning, Granite Countertops, High end Appliances, Top of the line cabinetry, a Fully Remodeled Bathroom with His and Her's sinks, and a LARGE WALK IN SHOWER!

Enjoy a Fully Equipped Kitchen, Wifi for High Speed internet, Beach Gear, Pack & Play, Fully Stocked with Linens, Everything needed for an incredible vacation!

Casa De Emdeko also has one of the few oceanfront pools where you can swim and soak up the warm Hawaiian sun while watching the whales or dolphins play, depending on the season you visit. Swaying Palm Trees on our private sandy sunning area at the oceans edge offers glorious sunsets with a special sense of serenity. The popular Cabana, BBQ's, and Lanai tables are perfect for dining gatherings with friends and making new friends from around the world.

*Casa will be replacing the chiller the week of 9/23/24 - 9/27/24.
Unfortunately, there will be no air conditioning at the residential or commercial buildings for five days because the chiller system will be turned off for repairs.*

Beautiful Spot, Steps Away from the Ocean

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property management is very communicative and helpful! They checked in to see how things were going and responded immediately. I highly recommend this spacious 1-bedroom condo. It has a huge lanai that offers a peek-a-boo view of the ocean - you're close enough to hear the waves and see a few too. The oceanfront saltwater pool was our favorite. There's a little "nook" off to the left of the pool that we dubbed "Mermaid's Cove" as we liked to lay on our beach chairs there and stare at the ocean's beauty. We saw a baby whale splashing off in the distance, which was magical.Highly recommend this property to those who are looking for peace & quiet (quiet times are enforced from 10pm-8am). I will say my 8-year-old daughter was one of the louder people at the pool(s) as it seems to be largely an older group of folks that either reside there for part of the year or visit for long periods of time.

Honeymoon Vacation

The property was fabulous! We tended to stay out and do all we could on the Big Island, but when we came back we had a relaxing property waiting for us. The other residents were very nice as well. We did utilize both pools and the grills as well, which were all positive experiences!

A week in paradise

Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked in, we were very pleased with how it looked in comparison to the photos, very accurate, and such a cozy, cute place! The linens were very soft and clean, each room tidy and relaxing. The appliances were top notch, and we enjoyed how how many items were available in the kitchen for cooking your own meals. We LOVED the fact that Casa De Emdeko has a saltwater pool as well as a regular pool for lounging outside, as well as a place to enjoy the waves and sunsets. It's a very convenient location, and it's great that there's a mini mart around the corner for necessities. Also can't thank Knutson & Associates enough for their top tier communication and care and concern for their guests. We WILL be back! Mahalo nui loa!

Wonderful vacation condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the condo to be well maintained and completely stocked with everything we needed and expected. The lanai was setup was convenient. The TVs were large with great reception. The whole condo was immaculately clean when we arrived and there were all the necessary cleaning supplies included. The kitchen was well laid out and stocked with everything we needed. We loved the shower in the bathroom. It was enormous, with a river rock bottom, a large seat under the showers, 6 nozzles to spray from all imaginal directions. The controls were digital, so that you could set the temperature and flow rates and temperatures that you preferred, and get them every time when you turned it on.And, Knutsons continued to offer needed instructions or help, whenever I needed it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in Kona for the Ironman World Championship and this was an ideal spot! It was close enough to the epicenter of all the activities to take care of business but also far enough away to be able to retreat and relax. Booking was easy and communication was simple. This unit was just as advertised and our one bedroom condo was still spacious enough to accommodate us when our 2 adult daughters opted to join us! The beds and linens were quite comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked so we could cook and enjoy many meals outside on the lanai. We even used the grills in the common area to cook out one evening. The salt water pool and beach area right on the water had breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will miss those glorious Hawaiian sunsets!

Lovely Unit and Location

Beautiful Location and Lovely Unit. However it was extremely musty when we arrived. Smelled as if it had been closed up for months. I was also very disappointed that there was no welcome basket or even some coffee to make the first pot, After traveling all day it's nice to not have to find a store right off the bat, have a snack and a cup of coffee.The water gear that is pictured was also not be found. The property manager did offer to reimburse us if we wanted to purchase some and leave it there for future travelers. This was my first time using VRBO and I found it somewhat impersonal compared to my experiences with other rental sites

Beautiful Condo in a fantastic property

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Casa De Emdeko is our favorite property on the island of Hawaii, and condo 210 is FANTASTIC. We have stayed in other condos at Case De Emdeko but none as beautifully upgraded as condo 210. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to make excellent meals, it was beautifully refurbished. The bathroom, living room, and lanai was well appointed and upgraded. While the view of the ocean is not as vast from condo 210, as other condos it's still fantastic. The only recommendation I would make is to add an umbrella and chairs for beach adventures. The snorkel gear was a nice touch, though not something we needed. Overall I would stay at condo 210 again without hesitation. The condo and property were clean and bright, the fragrances used in the condo were lovely. The ac was most welcomed after warm days. Thank you for a lovely stay
