An elegant holiday home where you can enjoy the Icelandic countryside. Most families in Iceland spend some time in a summer cottage every year, and enjoy the geothermal swimming pools and the natural attractions in the vicinity. It is perfectly located just about 50 minutes from Reykjavik and a great location to explore the South of Iceland, the Golden Circle and the Highlands. In the area there are numbers of golf courses, swimming pools, hiking trails, fishing rivers and other exciting things to enjoy.
The house is both for summer and winter holiday.
The cabin has 4 bedrooms with plenty of room for the whole family, up to 10 adults and 3 children. The master bedroom has its own TV for watching movies after the sun has gone down, and there is also a TV in the living room. You have a connection to Wifi to stay in touch with friends and family back home.
The cottage offers a luxury hot tub, sauna, pool table, table tennis and darts so everyone can enjoy their holiday. The kitchen is an open area with a large dining table and in the sunroom there are two other dining tables so everyone can sit and enjoy themselves together. On the terrace there is a large grill and plenty of room for the kids to run around.

Incredible place

We had a fantastic time in Selfoss... the house was so lovely, well-appointed, and very comfortable. It's private and quiet but still near a grocery and other amenities. It's a great landing spot with good access to many different landscapes and sights. It was awesome to have the game room for rainy days, and the sauna and hot tub were wonderful. Highly recommended!

Blue Viking Cabin

The house suited our family of 3 generations. It was very well stocked with all the necessities needed for 10 people. The owner Sirry was very helpful and accommodating. A fabulous hub for the Golden circle and the southern island.

Perfect family house in ideal location

We loved our time in this lovely home. There is stunning views from every window. It's got everything you need to cook from home with a very well equipped kitchen and BBQ accessories. The location was ideal for us to explore this part of Iceland. The games room is such fun for the kids and the porch is cozy with heated floors. A sauna with views is a nice touch and a great way to end the day. No complaints from us - we had kids to grandparents and it was perfect for all. We were delighted to spend a week here. I hope you enjoy it too!

Perfect house for a large family group visiting Iceland

This was a perfect house for our holiday in Iceland. We were there with an extended family group of three families - parents and teenage and young adult children. The location is about 15 minutes from Selfoss, 1 hour from Rekyavik and 1.5 hours from Keflavik airport. It allowed easy access to all the attractions of the southern region. The communal living space is large and comfortable with room for everyone to sit together to eat. The kitchen area is well appointed with enough pots and pans and crockery to cater for the large group. The beds were comfortable. The games room - just beside the main house in the garage, was much enjoyed by all and allowed those who wanted to make noise later in the evenings to have fun without disturbing others. The sauna and hot tub are gorgeous - looking out over the Icelandic countryside. Our host - Siri - was extremely helpful, accomodating and relaxed. We would highly recommend this property.

Mooie en comfortabele chalet

Heel mooi gelegen. Communicatie met eigenares was top. We hadden enkel problemen door de hevige sneeuwval, waardoor onze wagens geblokkeerd zaten in het midden van het straatje. Ik denk dat dit eerder geschikt is om tijdens de lente - zomer - herfst te huren. Maar de eigenares probeerde ons te helpen om zo snel mogelijk de baan terug sneeuwvrij te krijgen.

Perfect Cabin Stay

Everything was top notch from meeting the host to dropping off the keys. I had some rental car trouble and got stranded on my way back, Sirry drove an hour to pick the keys up. She was amazing. I cannot tell you how happy I am with my experience.

Lovely views and peaceful sunsets

A very nice property with a wonderful sauna and hot tub, practical kitchen and enough space to lounge. The teens loved the pooltable and tabletennis set!

Beautiful and comfortable home base for exploring Iceland

We had a group of 8 -- 4 adults, 4 teenagers - and the house was perfect for our needs. High speed internet worked perfectly and accommodated our multiple devices. Everyone had their own space, and plenty of common areas to relax, play table tennis, and unwind (hot tub and sauna were wonderful) after long days exploring southern and southeastern Iceland. Easy driving distance to Pingvellir hiking and Selfoss (for dinner, groceries, pharmacy, etc.), approx 1 hour from Reykjavik, approx 4.5 hour drive to southeastern Icelandic glacier region, about 2 hour drive to Vik and black sand/volcanic beaches. The host, Sirry, was friendly and responded immediately to any questions. 100% highly recommend this property as a perfect group or family vacation. Thank you Sirry!

Perfect for family trip

This cabin worked really well for our family trip. Its a lovely clean and spacious, well equipped property and great to have the hot tub, sauna and games room to keep everyone entertained. Lovely place

This house and area is really fantastic for a stay in Island. We were a family of 8 adults and a child of 2 year. The house is so nice and had everything to give us a wonderfull stay. From the house there is a fantastic view of the area. The communication with Sirry was great and she was very helpful when we had trouble with the phone to open the gate. We would love to come back to this house :-)

Family holiday in Iceland

We had a great stay in this beautiful house. It was perfect for all our family including our three little granddaughters who loved the toys and the hot tub (as did the adult members in our party!) Sirry was very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Thank you, we shall definitely recommend it further.

Extended Family week in Iceland

Our family (grandfather and two families of four) had a great week in Iceland. The house was an excellent base from which to explore the sights along the Golden Circle. The layout is perfect for multiple families, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. Our host, Sirry, was very welcoming and responded very quickly when we had a small problem with the hot water. The kids really enjoyed the ping pong table and basketball goal. Would definitely recommend the house for families traveling together!

Great stay, fabulous location

Beautiful views from this cabin and the house itself is amazing with lots of space, high ceilings, and multiple bathrooms (not common in iceland for some reason). Great launching point to tour the golden circle and other near by attractions.

Perfect location—country setting & allows day trips to Reykjavik, Golden Circle, and South Coast,

Our 11 family members immediately felt at home in the large living area adjacent to two dining tables, a well stocked kitchen, plus comfortable beds, and enough bedrooms for privacy. Large windows and deck invited the outdoors inside.

Just right

We loved the house and our stay at your home. We missed it once we left! It was so comfortable and perfect for our families. It was clean, plenty of room to sprawl out, good location between golden circle, secret lagoon, and Seljalandsfoss/Skogafoss/Westman Islands! The hot tub and sauna were just right at the end of long hike days away!

Perfect family base for Iceland adventure!

This rental was the perfect place for our home base in Iceland! It was just as described, had everything in the kitchen to cook, and was spacious for our family of 6 to spread out at night. Honestly we could have had a second family with us and still had space. We loved the sun room for morning coffee and breakfast, reading, and just to relax. The house had wonderful views of the Icelandic countryside, but was also close to the city of Selfross for essentials like gas and groceries. The host Sirry was just a delight to work with! We definitely did not get enough of Iceland and hope to be back someday! We would love to return to this property!

Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur über Sirry ist wunderbar. Es funktionierte alles wie abgesprochen und absolut problemlos. Während des Aufenthaltes war die Toilettenspülung defekt, was umgehend repariert wurde. Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Lage. Die Ausstattung ist wie in den Bildern, der Hot Tub ist wunderbar. Es gibt etwas Spielzeug für Kinder, was wirklich schön war für unsere beiden kleinen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr groß und der Wintergarten Anbau ist ein Traum. Man kann wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Auch die Terrasse ist wunderschön. Die Garage ist auch ein Highlight. Gemütliche Abende bei Billard, Darts oder Tischtennis steht nichts im Wege. Hier die einzigen kleinen Makel, die aber eher Kleinigkeiten waren: der BBQ bedarf einer kleinen Grundreinigung und das Haus ist sehr hellhörig. Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu 9. hier sehr genossen. Es war sehr schön, dass die Kommunikation so unkompliziert und herzlich war. Wir würden diese Ferienwohnung wieder buchen.

Great House - Beautiful setting!

Traveled with 7 adults and had plenty of beds and room to sit around and enjoy. Panoramic views from porch, hot tub and sauna were AWESOME! Only downside was Hot Tub was more of a warm tub, with no way to turn up the heat (that I could find). Would definitely return here. Host was very informative and attentive.

Amazing experience

I want to thank Sirry for being a hugely attentive host, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Thank you from all of us. The house was above expectations, well appointed and a real homely feel. The scenery was spectacular and the kids enjoyed spending time outside. It was a perfect location for the golden circle. Great house

The house is big with all the amenities.m, we saw northern lights from the house, is a great location! One of the windows couldn’t close well but we manage to fix it. Sirry was super helpful, great guest. Thank you!

Beautiful sunny week

This property was nearly perfect. The views we stunning. The property manager Sirry was excellent. We did have several issues with the hot water, but Sirry had someone out to address it both times we called her. It was unseasonably warm during our stay and we found ourselves battling the gorgeous heated floors! Overall I highly recommend this property as it was a great location and the attention to making things right was impeccable. Things are going to happen, it's how you handle it that really counts.
