Leave your car (and your cares) at The Island Club of North Captiva (ICNC) in St. James City, FL or Pineland Marina in Bokeelia and ferry to the remote barrier island of North Captiva where running, walking, hiking, biking, swimming, shelling, fishing, kayaking, or just kicking back is in order. Some pre-planning is necessary, because this amazing Island has no shopping centers or paved roads. You can order groceries and have them stocked in your fridge; or meet you at the ferry; or pick them up on your way to the marina.

Our Management company, Tortuga Properties, will meet you at Island Girl ferry or the ICNC dock (depending on which ferry you choose) on North Captiva with a golf cart, and a Team member will provide you with highlights of the island and get you settled in the house with your things.

Built in 2021, Magic Po'cean is a two bedroom/two full-bathroom, luxury 1110 sq/ft home with a 300 sq/ft screened-in deck overlooking a beautiful, heated, salt-water swimming pool with plenty of deck space and lounges around it. It is also a short walk or golf cart ride to beautiful beaches. It is located on the southern, high and dry part of the island. It has a washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen for those who love to cook, and those who don't. Some of the high-end kitchen appliances include a crock pot for easy throw together meals, a Ninja for fresh smoothies, bake wear, fiesta plate-ware, Gotham pots and pans, Keurig duo coffee maker and a french press, plus all the other kitchen gadgets as well. Two large tables provide for indoor or outdoor dining. A high chair and pack and play with mattress and sheets are also provided.

Our pet-friendly home is perfect for couples or a small family, with a king master bedroom and a guest bedroom with two twin xl beds that can be made into a king, if preferred. A pocket door allows access to the full, guest bathroom from the guest bedroom. There is also a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room.

High-speed wi-fi is included with three large TV's and YouTube TV. There are many puzzles, games, DVD's and books for the whole family. Our Weber gas grill is located on the pool deck along with corn hole, ring toss, pool basketball hoop and over-sized Connect Four games. Enjoy swimming in our private pool or use our Island Club membership and use the club's pools, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards and bikes. Be as active or inactive as you like while enjoying this beautiful, unique island. Enjoy in-home chef services or the three outstanding island restaurants. A golf cart is included with this rental. We also have a beach canopy and a variety of chairs and other beach gear with a wagon to get through the sand.

The pictures of our house on this site are a true depiction of its condition, after recent hurricanes. It is in great shape. We also continue to make improvements to the property to make your stay more enjoyable, such as purchasing the lot behind the house to ensure privacy, adding a shade sail in the pool area for the hot summer months and adding extra landscaping for beauty and privacy in the front and around the pool.

More than half of this two square-mile island is nature preserve with many protected species and nesting bald eagles. The nature preserve is great for hiking and biking and is loaded with native south Florida flora and wildlife. Be mindful of the nesting sea turtles on the beach and watch for dolphins and manatees in the waters around the island. Magic Po'cean has adopted one of the sea turtle nests. Our Island has a night sky ordinance that allows amazing star gazing with our small telescope.
