Welcome to your perfect getaway—a fantastic family home designed for a relaxing vacation with friends and loved ones! This spacious property is ideal for family reunions and features an open floor plan, with an additional home available next door for larger gatherings.

Outdoor Fun: Enjoy a large yard perfect for playing football, soccer, and other outdoor activities. Spend your days at the dock, where you can jump in the water, fish, tan, or simply relax. Bring your boat or jet skis—there’s plenty of space to park them at the dock! Explore neighboring islands where you can dock and enjoy more adventures.

Accommodations: We have created countless wonderful memories here with family and friends. The home includes:

6 Bedrooms:
4 bedrooms with king-size beds, each equipped with a TV and enough space for a queen-size air mattress if needed
2 bedrooms with queen-size beds
Living Areas:
Spacious living rooms featuring two couches with queen sleeper beds, plus additional couches upstairs that can accommodate up to 6 people
Plenty of floor space for everyone to relax and enjoy
Guest Capacity: The house comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests, but we welcome a maximum of 18 guests. Please note that there is an additional fee for extra guests exceeding 12. For example, if you have 13 guests, there will be a charge for 1 extra person; if you have 18, there will be a charge for 6 extra guests. This fee will be clearly outlined in the price breakdown when requesting a booking.

Not what we expected but met our needs.

I would highly recommend Lake Anna a place to spend time at, unfortanately I would not recommend this location to anyone. It was not clean and the info was miss leading regarding what was available and expected.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I have been renting vacation homes for years now. I have always been a good tenant. The host of the home is. CROOK. 1st. They made me sign an external contract. Which was Red Flag #1 2nd. The house was not accurately listed on VRBO.

Loved this place!

We loved this place! It was a great lake-front property for a large group of people. The listing is accurate -- the property has 5 bedrooms with king/queen beds and one bedroom with twin beds. The host was very communicative and helpful. The check out process was more extensive than other rentals I have stayed at (e.g., they ask you to wash the towels before you go, you need to take all the trash with you, etc). Otherwise, it was a really nice stay. We would love to stay here again.

Spacious home and outdoor areas

My friends and I had a great time at the lakehouse. We have small-teenage children and the home was very spacious for everyone to enjoy together and solo time. We especially loved playing in the huge backyard and spent a lot of time relaxing on the porch overlooking the lake. The fans on the porch were a huge plus in helping keep bugs away. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful Holiday Weekend

Our family had a great time staying at this property. The house if very large, with plenty of room for everyone. It is at the end of a quiet cove, with the community docs waterfront. It wasn't super easy to load/unload from a boat at the property, but it was doable. Overall, a great house, great location, and a good time!

Great for a quick family vacation

We had a great time at this vacation rental. The layout of the house was a little strange but there was plenty of space for the whole family. Location was very close to the water which made swimming and using a boat easy.

Great Lake Anna Trip

This property was perfect for a large group, we had multiple adult couples going so the total number of king beds made for a very comfortable stay. The hosts were super responsive and accommodating, and we had direct access to the lake from our back yard where we were able to float out even without a boat. Great spot!

Beautiful home that’s perfect for a big family. We enjoyed the fire pit and huge yard. The property owners were very good with responding quickly to all of my questions. All in all it was a great experience, we will definitely be back.

This house is huge!

The photos don't do this listing justice; the common areas and master bedroom are HUGE! We had several friends come hang out for Labor Day weekend. It's a nice gated neighborhood and there is plenty of space between neighbors so we were free to play some music on the giant covered deck and have a great time without disturbing anyone. The house was very clean when we arrived, the kitchen well-stocked, and all the appliances were in excellent working order. All in all a VERY comfortable house for a vacay. * The water access for this property is adjacent to the common area and wet slips, so swimming area is limited. There is a beautiful lakefront park a few miles away though (Pleasants Landing; there is a cost for admission). **We rented a house on the next street with the same general layout; I'll be leaving the same review for that one, so if you're checking out the other one, this review is legit.

The Perfect Place for a Large Group

This was the perfect place for me and my group of friends to stay for a long weekend at Lake Anna. There were18 of us and there was plenty of space for us to sleep and hang out. The house was very clean when we arrived and were comfortable the entire time. The owner reached out a few times during our trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We rented a pontoon boat the first full day of our trip from Duke's Marina (only a few minutes away) which was awesome. On the second full day we went golfing at the Pendleton golf course which was very nice. At the house we enjoyed grilling and the fire pit. Overall it was a great weekend in large part due to this perfect place for our group.

Good news; not much traffic at 50+ boat slips directly in back, house has ample room for large gatherings. Back porch has 3 tables very nice for large family meals together. The lake is nice. However, everything is extremely dirty, dead bugs in kitchen drawers, old open bag of coffee sticks to the shelf if you try to pick it up. Old food in kitchen cabinets, open bags of chips etc. Kitchen sink is mounted sideways. Dead bolt in the basement installed with key to inside, where kids would stay, so be careful not to get locked in(fire hazard) Bucket holding water from leaking plumbing under the sink. Hot/cold water are installed backwards in basement bath. Access to 2 bedrooms is from exterior, you have to find a key, go out of the house to get into the bedroom. Windows in those 2 bedrooms into bedroom next to it. If people in the next room leave light on, you will have light in your room too. Everything about this house shows that the owner does not take it seriously and thinks this is a game. Roaches in basement. For 18 people we found 5 towels and 2 hand towels, until we requested more. A few of the beds had no sheets when we got there. The dishes were all in the dishwasher when we got there. Can of spray paint adorned the mantel, multiple broken chairs on back porch. An old table was re-purposed on back porch with mildew and tiles falling off . Filthy, filthy seat cushions on back porch. Grill has never been cleaned. Owner did not respond to 3 messages prior to checking in. I wish I could post actual pictures here. The trash can is actually a laundry basket. The mattress I slept in was old and awful. The blinds are broken and hanging apart. The ping pong table is held together with tape. Watch out for the metal thresholds in bare feet you will get cut. Some light bulbs were missing. Toilet paper holder rusted out or fell off and located in cabinet drawer. Carpet is torn in basement. Wood threshold covering cinder block is not fastened and moves when you step on it. The house next door (has a shared driveway, backyard and boat dock) has at least 4 old boats parked there and looks like a junk yard. Do not jump off dock, 12" deep max. Building house next door had nail guns and air compressors running all day even Sunday beware vrbo policy, must leave if you dont like it results in nowhere to stay after long drive, they gotcha! Disappointed this house would even be eligible on VRBO, no standards at all. Undisclosed exterior surveillance

Great space for a fun weekend with friends and family

Plenty of space indoors and out. Big kitchen for cooking meals. We would definitely come here again, everyone had a blast.

Enjoyed our retreat

I stayed with a group of friends for a weekend and found the house to be very clean (inside) and spacious. It was very easy to communicate with the hosts as they were very responsive and accommodating. Outside deck was very spacious and about a dozen of us could all sit there while grilling. Grill needs replacement and outside deck can use a 1 time clearing of spidewebs. Overall, it was very enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Good not great

Everything was just a bit off - listing mentioned lawn games and use of a garage, which was locked and the property manager was unresponsive to just that inquiry - they responded to us about a different inquiry. Check-in complexity and check-out requirements were onerous - a multi-step, multi-platform signing process, and despite mentioning a cleaning crew on the checkout documents, a pretty extensive cleaning list. The property itself is a lovely location, big yard, a quiet cove, easy to find. It is important to note that there are boat slips 15 feet or so in front of the waterfront of this property, we were able to have some younger kids swim with no issues, but it may be too close to boats and propellers for some folks. It's not all that busy at any point. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves at the property, but for the ratio of rental price to quality, we won't be booking here again.

Family weekend

Our family always has trouble finding a place at a reasonable price for 20 of us to stay. The rooms in the house are very large and we had plenty of space! We were able to tie our boat in front of the house and enjoyed swimming in the area in front. Our only complaint is the number of spiders around the outside and inside walls of the house.

Great stay!

We had a great stay! This house is nicer than the pictures portray. It is also bigger. There are a lot of places to sit and visit and several bedrooms. We brought a fairly sizable group and we were all comofortable! There is a ping pong table downstairs which was fun! It probably didn't make it into the pictures because it is a bit rundown. However, still usable and fun! I would recommend bring some inflatables to lay in and play with right off of the dock. We had a great time and I would recommend staying here!

Great place - checkout process seems excessive

PROS • Easy check-in • Gated community so it felt very safe • Easy to find following google map directions • Great location • Enough rooms for a big group • Outdoor space is great - has enough chairs and tables to have everyone sitting outside • Every bathroom was well stocked with towels and toilet paper • Very clean • Communication with the owner (or I guess it’s the owner’s son who deals with bookings) is great. Responses are within reasonable time and he’s very clear and helpful. • Very calm and quiet part of the lake. • Minutes away from the marina (very convenient in case you want to rent a boat, like we did). CONS • Check out process is ridiculously excessive, considering the cleaning fee is on the high side for vrbo. I can understand leaving the place neat and organized, as we found it, but I’m honestly not going on vacation to vacuum and wash, while also paying for someone to clean after we leave. I can’t remember every item, but some of the things on the list included: - washing, drying and folding all bathroom and kitchen towels - vacuuming the kitchen and the living room area - taking all the trash (which they only provide two trash bags for) to the dump, which is about 1.5 miles away from the house - washing, drying and putting away all the dishes - wiping down all counters and kitchen surfaces • One of the rooms is inside of another room, so privacy is compromised for both bedrooms. Although I should say the “nested” bedroom can be accessed directly from outside of the house and locked from inside the primary bedroom, it leaves the nested bedroom without bathroom access. • Outside tables were dirty, chairs were covered in spider webs • There are a lot of bugs outside (but this is obviously not the owners fault and they do provide a few citronella bug repellent candles to help control it) In general, I would recommend staying here if you don’t mind the bugs or cleaning. It’s a nice place with plenty of room for multiple couples or small families in a very quiet part if the lake.

Designed for Family Gatherings: We built this home with our large family in mind. With six of our own, along with three other families who regularly join us, there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy quality time together.

Safety and Security: Your peace of mind is important to us. The property is equipped with security cameras at both the front and back entrances, covering the main access points to the house.

Front: Monitors the parking area and access to the front door.
Back: Covers the deck and main door.
Please note that the cameras are not actively monitored and are accessed only if an incident occurs. Any recorded footage is automatically deleted after 30 days.
