This is a beautiful home. I love waking up early and watching the sun come up. The hosts were very kind and asked every question, and were very flexible when our flights were changed by the airline. It was our first time to St. John and we will be back! Loved this quieter part of the island. Everything is easy to get to and there are several bars, shops , restaurants 5 mins away. The house itself is lovely- the outside space was amazing!!

Great family destination in St John

We had several married couples and this was a fantastic property on the quiet side of St John. The host was helpful and the property was wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay in Coral Bay—such a beautiful and peaceful location. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of friends traveling together. With three primary suites, each couple had plenty of privacy, and the shared spaces were comfortable and easy to enjoy together. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking and spending time at the house really convenient.The hosts were very responsive and genuinely pleasant to work with, which we appreciated throughout our stay.The only downside is that the photos online appear to be from a few years ago. The property could use a bit of TLC to match the expectations set by the listing images. Nothing major, but some updates and attention would really elevate the experience.Overall, we loved our time in Coral Bay, the home—just needs a little refreshing to reach its full potential.

Beautiful House!

Our stay was great. The views from the house were amazing and everything was clean and as advertised. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay near Coral Bay.

Winter Getaway

Great location, nice property well suited for extended family. Has an issue with the refrigerator that was quickly resolved by the owners. Would highly recommend this property for your visit to St John.

Love St John

Great location and views. It was spacious with a well appointed kitchen. Bedrooms were nice and sleeping was very comfortable. Loved listening to the birds and having coffee looking out over Coral bay.

Perfect Getaway

Views abound from everywhere on the property! Our group had plenty space and areas of our own. I loved the separate suites, great pool area, and abundance of outdoor seating. Close to several restaurants and grocery stores.

Coral Bay

Nestled into the hillside overlooking Coral Bay and the BVIs, this property offers an ideal setting to soak in the splendor of St. John. Our family loved the villa's design, which seamlessly blends inviting common areas with cozy private spaces, perfect for unwinding by the pool or sharing a family meal. Our hosts were great at checking in, and readily available. The location is central to great beaches and local shops within a short distance.

Property With Incredible View

Property provided required accommodations for family of 5, had the most incredible view of Coral Bay & East End, kitchen was well supplied, bedroom AC was very nice and pool very comforting at end of day snorkeling. Always love St John.

Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home. We had a great month and can see it will only get better as you add solar power and complete adding the new windows. We would plan to stay again in the future when we visit Saint John, low key area, just how we like it.Management was very attentive when we needed something. Milestone trip

This trip was to celebrate retirement, milestone anniversaries, and birthdays. The house was perfect for three couples, with three private suites and a great, comfortable common area. This home provides everything you need for a worry-free stay. And the pool, the views, the decks…awesome!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We would not hesitate to book it again!

Coral Bay Gem

Definitely a hidden gem in Coral Bay! The communication with Alex and Nancy over the past year was incredible...very responsive! Our stay at Villa Helios was amazing...no problems at all. We especially LOVED being able to hear the ocean from this property. The beds were SO comfortable! The pool was awesome to come home to at the end of our days...perfect water temperture! Can't wait to come back!!

Great Home in Coral Bay

I was advertised. The views were tremendous out into Coral Bay and beyond. Property owners were extremely responsive and appreciated and answered questions that we had very promptly. We enjoyed be clear night sky and stars each night on the deck. Very comfortable beds and private bathrooms for each of the three. We like to laid-back atmosphere of Coral Bay, very relaxing and peaceful.

Perfect vacation spot

This house is incredible, everything you could want, clean, lots of room for everyone, easy to find and park, beautiful bedrooms, good sized pool, nearby restaurants and Calabash market. We went to the beaches every day, but we easily could have just stayed at the villa and hung out drinking blender drinks and it would have been awesome. The owners of this villa were awesome specifically in terms of helping us get provisioning, a jeep to rent and answering any questions that we had prior to arrival and after we got there. Wish I was still there!

65 birthday trip

The property was wonderful!!! The hosts gave us lots of great information before the trip that helped so much with our planning. Every bedroom was so nice, beds were all very comfortable, pool was great, kitchen had everything we needed. We had a question at check in (late in the evening ) and the host repsonded quickly!!!! We enjoyed the verandas every morning and evening, and the beaches were all just a short drive away. A++

Wonderful house in a beautiful location. The property overlooks Coral Bay, and had beautiful sunrises every morning. There was a constant cooling breeze coming in off the Bay all day, making for very comfortable living conditions. The hosts were extremely helpful, providing helpful tips about getting on Island, about where to eat, and about the beaches and sights to see. The house, with extras, comfortably accommodated our group of 10. Will definitely be coming back.

Loved Villa Helios!

We had a fantastic month-long stay with this super responsive host. The property is exactly as advertised and photographed with the additional benefit of being on one of the few residential streets in St. John that does not require 4 wheel drive. A real money saver. In addition it has an available apartment beneath the main house that you can rent pretty cheaply for visitors. We had 4 additional people for part of our stay and the "Grotto," as they call it, was perfect for them.

Spacious retreat with amazing ocean views

It exceeded all our expectations. Clean big rooms and private baths. Really loved the several different gathering places , we used them all. Easy to get to anywhere on the whole island. Using the kitchen was like being at home. Any pan or utensil we needed was there. (We had some foodies along that love to cook). Great communication with the Shipleys all the way through the booking to sadly leaving to go home.

Loved the view and the Villa!

We had such a great stay, the Villa itself was so nice. By far our favorite aspect was the amazing views of Coral Bay. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking at the bay while hearing the waves crash watching the occasional sail boat. Three well appointed bedrooms suited our family well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals when we didn't want to eat out. We even used the BBQ grill one night and cooked some fresh mahi-mahi. The pool and deck area was very nice and relaxing as well. We enjoyed that this Villa is located in Coral Bay which is less populated and more private as compared to the other side of the island. Hope we are able to come back again soon!

Island bliss at this home away from home

It was our third time in St John and our second visit to Coral Bay. We love this side of the island much more than the busier Cruz Bay. It is SOOOO laid back. First, the house...it's an unusual layout, but worked perfectly for our family and would be wonderful for 3 adult couples as well. 3 King beds each with their own full bath. Plenty of space to be alone, but also a perfect living area to be together for meals or relaxing or playing games or watching movies. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we barely cooked beyond coffee and toast in the AM. Take advantage of the cooler and beach chairs and just pack a lunch and go explore one of the many beautiful beaches. We hit a different beach every day and some days 2! The bedrooms are comfortable, sheets soft, good pillows. We appreciated the a/c units, but there is always a breeze if you prefer sleeping with windows open. There are about 4 restaurants on the Coral Bay side of the island and we hit them all for dinner (two of them twice!) and weren't disappointed at all. Great food, yummy cocktails, and everyone we encountered was friendly. It's a very special property...comfortable, convenient to the beaches, and the views were just amazing.

Our Villa is located in Coral Bay, St John USVI. Travel within 10 minutes to the best beaches in the world! Coral Bay harbor is minutes away and it is a short drive to Maho, Cinnamon and Trunk Bay beaches. Villa Helios has 3 main bedrooms with on suites, allowing for great privacy for each family. There is a separate pod offering a kitchen, dining and living room area. These bedrooms are air conditioned to allow for a comfortable night sleep. There is the same amount of outside deck space as inside space allowing for constant delight in gazing at the Caribbean or night sky. Enjoy hanging out at the private salt pool with its own separate outside bar area. There is a large balcony and deck space for lounging or outdoor eating.

We love to go to all the beaches a new one every day and snorkeling and seeing the sea turtles at everyone! Enjoy the laid back life of Coral bay with lots of easy access restaurants. Or have a fancy night out in Cruz bay with the restaurants and bars all around. From every bedroom, enjoy drifting off to sleep and waking up with the sound of the surf and the ocean breeze. After a stay at Villa Helios, all your worldly cares will erode away, making this place perfect for your vacation.
Guests are invited to take full advantage of the offerings at Villa Helios, and may enjoy exclusive access to the swimming pool, with the exception of the ground floor apartment. This completely separate apartment with its own driveway and access is a private residence.
