We have really taken the time to make this a comfortable place for you to call home while you are here in Destin from a fully equipped kitchen to include an air-fryer and a crock pot, board games, charging stations and Smart TV's to providing a beach wagon, 4 beach towels, and 2 beach chairs for use during your stay.

The Palms of Destin is a beautiful property! Step onto the stunning pool deck surrounded by lush palm trees and vibrant tropical plants - your vacation vibe starts here! Dive into the breathtaking zero-entry pool, holding an impressive 11,000 gallons, complete with cascading rock waterfalls and a charming bridge for that resort-style experience. On cooler days, enjoy the cozy warmth of the heated pool or hot tub. For families, there's endless fun with a an exciting splash pad, and a dedicated children's pool - perfect for creating unforgettable memories!!

Craving a classic cookout? We've got you covered! Enjoy the convenience of on-site charcoal grills, located on the playground so you can keep an eye on the kids while you grill up your favorite meal!

Stay active, rain or shine! Enjoy our indoor pickleball court for a fun game anytime, plus a fully equipped fitness center to keep your workout routine on track. Whether you're looking for friendly competition or a great sweat session, we've everything you need right on site!

Condo is located at a resort with a large pool, with a 10 minute walk to a public beach. It was clean and recently updated. Would go back again!

This unit was very nice, equipped exactly as claimed in description and Lisa was easy to get in touch with during check in! We would definitely consider staying here again, lots of things for kids to do as well!

Room with a view

Resort was very well maintained and so was condo. Had everything we needed to enjoy a quick fall break getaway from Indiana. Very clean and would definitely recommend.

This property was just as the pictures showed. Great views and location. Loved the amenities in the Palms. Beach gear and bus shuttle were a huge part of choosing this property! Would definitely recommend and I hope to have the opportunity to book here again!

Great Accomodations

Our family of four really enjoyed the room and had plenty of nearby amenities to keep us busy. The place was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The beach toys and wagon were a life saver and we had a great view of the pool as well. The only downside for us was the beds were hard, but that's coming from a family who loves their pillow top mattresses. I would recommend the room regardless!

Within walking distance to beach

Unit was clean and beds were perfect for us and two older kids, big balcony that overlooked the pool. Beach within walking distance and beach wagon was provided, such a huge help! We used the gym, a bit crowded but nice equipment. Coffee shop on site is adorable! Only suggestion, Need a few throws to cuddle up on couch.

Lisa’s property is very clean and well-decorated. The view from the balcony of the pool area and gulf in the distance is great. Lisa is very easy to communicate with, and she responds quickly to any communication you send her. The washer and dryer in the unit is especially nice to have. Overall this is a very nice place to stay at for vacation in Destin.

Just what we needed

Lisa made our stay simple and easy. She responded quickly and told us everything we needed know to make our stay go smoothly. The condo at the Palms had everything we needed for the week. My three kids enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, and they made friends from all over the US. The washer and dryer worked well, and we were able to use the beach gear from the condo at the beach. The condo is only a couple of blocks from the beach and any type of restaurant you could imagine. We truly enjoyed our time in Destin and hope to come back and stay again soon!

Welcome to our Paradise at the Palms! My husband and I were high school sweethearts and have been married for 37 years. We live in Iowa now but have lived in many places throughout our marriage. We bought this beautiful 2nd home at the Palms of Destin in 2021. We love having such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay when we come to visit and we wanted to share it with others to enjoy and we hope you love it as much as we do!!
We are an Air Force family! My husband retired from the Air Force in 2008 (which is why we lived in many different places)but still works on the base as a contractor. Our daughters husband is in the Air Force stationed here in Florida and our son is in the Air National Guard and he is stationed in Omaha, Nebraska.
We love to travel (seems like that is mostly to see our kids these days) but we also love to camp and go boating here in Iowa. We also restore old cars and have 1 each - mine is better but he will tell you that his is! I work for a large insurance corporation- and also manage our condo. I make barn wood signs in what little spare time I have as a hobby - which you will see a couple in the condo that I made specifically for the beach! We are very active and love to have fun and try to enjoy every day to the fullest!

We have put a lot of time and effort into making this a comfortable place for you to call home while you are here in Destin to include a fully equipped kitchen, charging stations, pool and beach towels, beach wagon, various pool and beach toys and Smart TV's.

The Palms of Destin has a coffee shop on site. It is a very nice spot to gather, relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee or Danish with family and friends in a fun atmosphere. It also has a full restaurant and an indoor/outdoor sports bar with nightly entertainment - many live entertainers, karaoke, and bingo nights during peak season. Check the schedule upon arrival. There are also TV's to watch your favorite sports while enjoying great food and a nice beverage. The outdoor patio offers cornhole and other outdoor games for you to enjoy during your stay. It is located just off of the pool deck so you can either walk up and order your food and beverage OR you can order right from your lounge chair next to the pool and it will be brought out to you. They also have room service and will bring your order to your room.
If you did not rent a car - no problem - there are so many things right here on site for you to do! AND if you forgot something, there is a Walmart and other shopping within walking distance!

My husband is retired Air Force and we are very proud of that and for all that have served. We would like to offer a 10% Military Discount off of the nightly rate (not the VRBO fees, cleaning fee, taxes, or resort fees since we do not have control over those). If you have a valid active-duty military ID or a valid retiree military ID - Send an inquiry ahead of instant booking and let us know so that we can thank you for your service.

There are parking spots close to the entrance, cart corrals at every entrance and on every level of the parking garage for you to use while loading and unloading upon arrival and then once you are all moved in, you will park in the parking garage.

Although this resort is not directly on the beach it is within walking distance or there is a complimentary air-conditioned shuttle to take you there daily during peak season. Check schedules upon arrival during non-peak for schedule. Centrally located in Destin and within walking distance of Walmart and other shopping and restaurants. 3.6 mi = Harbor Walk, 6.3 miles = Outlets, 1.5 miles = Big Kahuna Waterpark, .5 miles = Henderson State Park

There are a few social media pages that will provide quite a bit of great information based on others experiences here in Destin. Many people who have been here will post good and bad things that they encountered during their stay and also provide tips and tricks for others that are planning on coming to the area. It also has other folks that have not yet been and that are asking questions to help them in planning their trip - many of the same questions you may have.
