Week long CB bike trip!
Loved this rental for our week long mountain bike trip! The rental is as advertised, very clean, kitchen is stocked, great views, comfortable beds and washer/dryer. Access to the pool was great for after rides and super convenient they allow dogs (we ended up not bringing ours but it’s nice to have the option!). Underground covered parking was a plus. Location was great! We only had one complaint our entire trip and it was during our check in process. The woman working the front desk was incredibly rude as soon as we walked in, with our bikes. She did not greet us, say hello or even smile, just told us that bikes are not allowed in the lodge/rooms. I triple checked the contract I signed with WestFall and there was nothing listed stating bikes are not allowed - I told her this and she simply repeated they were not allowed in a stern unfriendly tone (and apparently must be locked up in the garage - she didn’t even know where this was located so could not tell us when we asked and were reviewing the map of facility. When we found it, on our own, it was already full, and did not accommodate many bikes - so locked to car). She repeated this statement three times as if we didn’t hear her. And honestly had I known this was in fact true I likely would not have booked the property. Once she realized we were trying to check in she *slightly* changed her tone but it was still a disappointing first impression for a week long vacation we had been looking forward to for months.
