This house is beautiful, and the location cannot be beat. Saunderstown is a very unique and special place. So easy to get to Narragansett, Jamestown, and Newport. The property is spacious, well kept, and private. The host was incredibly accommodating, and made themselves available for any and all questions both leading up to and during our stay. I can’t recommend enough!

Beautiful setting with lots to enjoy with needing to leave the property. Spacious enough for 8 of us. Would recommend. Hosts was very kind. Check in is in person so you know all about the property.

Our stay was outstanding! We would love to return! Among our best family vacations. We spent most of our time outdoors - kayaking, swimming, enjoying the view from the Adirondack chairs, dining on the deck. Beautiful views. Great proximity to Jamestown and Newport. Home was equipped with fishing rods, soccer/football/beach/basketballs, frisbees - tons of activities for the kids and grandchildren. Last evening we brought back steamed lobsters from the Lobster Shack in Newport which were the best lobsters we ever had. Perfection.

Beautiful spot on the water

We loved our time on the bay at this home. Plenty of room for the whole family, gorgeous views, plenty of shade and equipped with everything we needed (including air conditioners in each bedroom).

Stay in July

Beautiful location, enjoyed a wonderful time with our family. A few thoughts: Oven did not work, random clothes left in drawer and difficult door to lock.

Hi Holly, thank you for the compliments! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding the double oven, we did check it out and it is working properly, however it is an older design, and it has some operational peculiarities. We will be explaining this better in our guest guide, and also leaving a copy of the operator's manual for our guests. Regarding locking the back french doors, since these Andersen doors don't have a keylock, there is a slightly different procedure for this. I understand part of your group saw this during the walkthrough, but you were separated from the group and may not have seen it. We will be adding this to our walkthrough guide which we leave with all our guests, so no in-person demonstration will be necessary. Thank You, Asa Davis Owner

Wonderful stay

Lovely, expansive and well-cared for property. Pride in ownership evident. Beautiful water and bridge views. Had everything we needed and more for the stay, including beach toys, fishing rods, kayaks, lawn games. Great location from which to explore Narragansett and surrounding areas.

Home is lovely and well appointed. View and jetty were appreciated by all. Owner is excellent to work with and the home he so many thoughtful touches. We had a fantastic week!!

Super Memorial Day Weekend family reunion

We loved the property and the location. The house was very well appointed and beautifully decorated. Asa was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The property was private, beautiful, spacious, and well situated on the water. Weather was exceptional, all making for a memorable family gathering.

Asa’s home was perfect for our family vacation of 4 (including our dog), but can accommodate many more - The view was so delightful (amazing) that it was difficult to leave each day to explore Newport and the surrounding area. Check-in was a breeze as Asa met us upon arrival to explain everything about the house. The house was lovely and comfortable. It was well-stocked with everything you would need for your stay. Getting to Newport was very easy as the house is close to the Jamestown Bridge. Narragansett is just a short drive away. We also enjoyed visiting the birthplace of Gilbert Stuart, the famous portrait artist. Much to do in the area but we really enjoyed just relaxing at this lovely home. We would not hesitate to recommend Asa’s getaway and we look forward to returning!

Amazing treasure on Narragansett Bay

This house was amazing!! The views of the bay and the two bridges were stunning, especially at night. Swimming and boating our right outside your back door. The house is gorgeous and filled with everything you need. The host is very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Location

Lovely grounds with mature trees that provide shade & a front row seat view of the Narragansett. House had everything we needed for 3 generations including a 6 week old. Newport was a short 15 minute drive & you can be as busy or quiet as you prefer. The owner gave a private tour of the property & was helpful & available. A lovely home.
