Watch the incredible rapidly changing mountain views from the balcony, bedroom, or picnic area. Mountain sunsets are incredible. Enjoy the lights of Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg in the distance. The setting is beautiful, saw bears closely, easy check-in and exit. Plenty of space for a couple. Not too far from Gatlinburg and the national park. The interior could use an update. Comfortable, enough kitchen cookware, but just looks a bit tired. That being said, we’d definitely stay again.

Thanks for the stay, Cathy. We recognize that the condo hasn’t undergone a full renovation like some others in the area, and we price it accordingly. We continue to make steady improvements and maintain the space so it remains comfortable and functional for guests. I don’t think it’s entirely fair to book a value‑priced stay and then compare it to a luxury‑level experience, but as you noted, you did have a nice stay and would return. I imagine that’s because the condo met — and perhaps exceeded — your needs at a price point that offers strong value.

My husband and I spent the week in the condo. It was the perfect size for us and the views of the mountains were amazing. The road up to the condo took us a little to get use to but all the switchbacks were worth it for the gorgeous view!!

Anniversary getaway

Thank you for the review, and I’m glad you enjoyed the view during your anniversary getaway. The condo isn’t fully modernized, but it’s a very comfortable space, and we’ve replaced the flooring throughout within the last year. We’ll continue applying updates periodically as cash flow permits, and the current level of modernization is reflected in the price. I’m happy to hear it was a nice place to stay for your special trip.

Our stay in Gatlinburg, TN was overall okay. It met the basic expectations for a short trip. One thing to note is that the road leading to the property is a bit tricky. I would recommend using a 4x4 vehicle during the winter, as the route can be challenging. It’s also a good idea to make your first visit during daylight, because finding the place in the dark can be confusing.That said, the area itself is beautiful. Gatlinburg is a great city to visit, and being in the mountains is always refreshing. The peaceful atmosphere, scenery, and fresh air make it a wonderful spot to relax and recharge.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad you enjoyed the peaceful setting and the beauty of the Gatlinburg area — the mountains really do make it a wonderful place to relax and recharge. As for the drive, I always like to say you can’t get mountain views without driving up mountain roads. That means switchbacks and elevation changes that feel very different from city driving. Relative to other mountain roads in the Smokies — including some right in Gatlinburg — the roads leading to the property are actually very good. Our property is also located on a main throughfare, which means it is a priority for maintenance and clearing. After the occasional snow, we recommend waiting until the plow service has been through and watching the first couple of cars come up the mountain. That’s the best way to confirm the roads are in good shape before heading out. I appreciate your feedback and am glad the area left a positive impression.
