Sunny Beach Cottage with Amazing Views

Perched just above the village of Stinson Beach, this beautiful light filled home has spectacular ocean and mountain views throughout, and 2 spacious bedrooms on separate floors, each with ensuite bathrooms. There are decks on both levels, an outdoor shower, and a hot tub overlooking the ocean. The open plan living room features vaulted ceilings and a wood burning fireplace. There is a smart TV and an Apple TV. No cable. The well stocked gourmet kitchen is equally ready for cooking (induction stove top and oven, coffee, teas, spices, olive oil and great cookware) or bringing meals in from the best of Stinson's fabulous food offerings, just steps away in the village.
Luxuriate and relax in an intimate setting, or help yourself to beach towels and chairs to take to Stinson's two mile stretch of pristine beach. Just as convenient are trailheads to Mt. Tam's amazing network of hiking. No pets. Bed Configuration: 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Futon couch.
LAUNDRY: There is a small all-in-one washing machine for small loads. Hang clothes on clothesline to dry. The dryer is best used to soften clothes after line drying.
PLEASE NOTE: This home requires attention to water conservation due to its hillside septic system. The property can sleep four people only and two more are allowed for day use.

Amazing views. Comfortable sleeping. Incredibly stocked. Parking is tricky on the street. Stairs to home are challenging. Groceries, restaurant and beach easy walking distance.

A lovely place to chill

A lovely beachhouse, just up the hillside from the beach. Well maintained and equipped. Great kitchen made it a joy to cook a few meals together. We could whale watch and cook at the same time. Well arranged generous sized bedrooms. The two outside terrace areas are really nice for morning and afternoon sun. But take a couple of the deck chairs provided and sit on the beach - it’s glorious.

Great Stinson Beach House!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house in Stinson Beach. Great location up the hill from the beach and the Parkside restaurant and bakery (great bakery, you must get their bread, some of which is thankfully included in the welcome pack upon arrival!) Also just above the market so all of our needs in that department were easily covered within close walking distance. The house is beautifully decorated and is very bright and cozy with stunning views of the coast. The trailheads of the Dipsea and Matt Davis trails are also within walking distance, a real bonus. We hiked the Dipsea ( highly recommended) and returned to enjoy the hot tub that evening, a relief for our sore muscles. The whole place is wonderfully outfitted with everything anyone would need for their stay at this beautiful location. One thing to be aware of is the limited drying capability of the dual wash/dryer unit. You can wash a small/ normal load but you MUST pull out at least half of what you washed and then run the dryer. So that process is a bit time consuming. Maybe save that for a down or rainy day. Overall a fantastic property and we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Stinson beach home away from home.

View from the deck is fantastic - loved spending evenings watching ships coming in, going out, passing by. House had everything we needed, and short walk to the beach. Great experience - would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing retreat from city

Lovely hillside property with many nice touches and features, perfect for whale watching (thank you for the use of binoculars), distinctive yellow house, easily spotted from the beach or the drive into town from the south. we kept the ants under control, enjoyed games and puzzles, hot tub, outdoor deck chairs and table, cooking on the grill… the 3 min walking proximity to the market was a great convenience. Was hoping to watch NBA playoffs but there wasn’t TNT or ESPN on the house cableTV setup, still managed with our own laptop. Kitchen is well equipped, although psticks

It's in an ideal location, walking distance from the town and the beach. We spent a lot of our mornings in the sun drenched living room with panoramic views of the ocean. At night we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, which was so well equipped and really enjoyable to cook in. We'd have the fire going and end our evenings in the hot tub. The house was well maintained and very clean. It was hard for us leave and look forward to our next stay. Also, I can't say enough great things about the Highway One Property team. They are so helpful and have great recommendations for anything you need.

Perfect!

One of the best stays in a rental I have experienced! Clean and great attention to all the small details that make vacationing easy….from games, and cozy blankets to olive oil waiting in the well-appointed kitchen so you can immediately enjoy the welcome loaf of fresh bread from Parkside. The location is perfect for easy beach access and walking around town, and great overall location to enjoy nearby hiking trails and exploration. Easy drive to San Fran and wine country, but the views of the beach and sound of waves crashing make it hard to leave the deck at all! We would definitely enjoy a return stay at this location.

Beautiful Views

The property was well maintained, comfortable furnishings inside and out. The kitchen was very well equipped. Stinson Beach was a great location to stage day trips from for this East Coast family. Only drawback with the house… there is no dryer. The house has a washer, however, impossible to dry cloths in the rainy, foggy season.

It is perfectly located in the center of Stinson Beach village - close enough to walk to anything but tucked away so you don't feel in the center of it all. The house had EVERYTHING we needed. A kitchen with everything, comfortable bedding, great towels...and views for days. We felt at home here within minutes of arriving.
