Beautiful Lavallette Home - Perfect for Family and Friends

Terri and group were wonderful guests and a pleasure to host. Communication was excellent, they followed all house rules, took great care of the property, and left the home clean and in excellent condition. We would gladly welcome Terri back and highly recommend her to other hosts.

Thank you for the feedback Marijke. Regarding location: The house is accurately represented on the VRBO map. Right around 60% of our summer bookings are returning guests that do find the house conveniently located - less than a five minute walk to the beach and right down the road to the community bayside playground and park for the kids. Regarding noise: Lavallette is a very quiet community during October so I am a bit surprised to hear about the noise. I will be sure to check with the neighbors to confirm quiet hours are being respected. Additionally: We are always on call if you needed an extra lightbulb or a couple batteries for the thermostat. We have tightened the legs on the sofa chair and replaced the toilet paper holder so we appreciate the feedback there. We did an inventory of the glasses and we do have ten of each. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your vacation coincided with the unexpected town-wide power outage caused by severe storms. While utility outages are unfortunately beyond the control of homeowners, we understand how frustrating that can be. We’d also like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our water dispenser and ice maker are regularly maintained, and there is no black mold present. As noted in the review, the home itself was very clean, which is inconsistent with the suggestion of mold in the freezer. The downstairs toilet became clogged after check-in, and our property manager responded promptly the same day to resolve the issue. When additional washcloths, beach towels, and children’s toys were requested, they were delivered promptly. The home is stocked with 10 beach towels, 12 bath towels, and 12 washcloths - to include beach chairs and 10 beach badges. We are always happy to accommodate special requests such as toys, especially when they’re made before arrival, allowing us to have everything ready without interrupting our guests’ vacation. The door keypad was fully functional prior to check-in and was inadvertently placed into programming mode during the stay due to several incorrect code entries, requiring our property manager to reset it. Once notified, the issue was resolved promptly. We continuously invest in and improve our home, including updating furnishings and amenities, even during the busy summer season.
