The Perfect Family Beach House

Relax and enjoy some time "down the shore" in this great, family friendly home. This house is perfectly located only houses away from the beach and in close, walking distance to the bay and all of Lavallette's great shopping and dining. This spacious home features 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths (one with tub), front porch, 2nd story deck and washer/dryer. The backyard is the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach and includes a deck, patio set, tiki bar, child safety fence and outdoor shower. The house also includes AC units, TV, DVD player and wifi. Located on the first street of the boardwalk, it is a great spot to take your morning walk, grab coffee, stock up on fresh produce/baked goods on the corner, site-see and enjoy all that this classic beach town has to offer. Minutes away from Seaside Heights and Point Pleasant, it is also in great proximity to larger shore towns that feature amusements on the boardwalk and other great restaurants and shops.

Great Beach House

Our stay in Lavallette was great in out new favorite beach house. Very spacious and the location to everything was the best ! Awesome private backyard.. Thank you Michelle and Scott ! Great Hosts !

Great Shore House

Mine and my brothers family spent the week at Michelle and Scotts place mid-August. We've been renting in Lavallette for many years. We were not going to rent this year due to a big family wedding but decided last minute to go ahead. We found the property available last minute and booked it. Booking could not have been easier. Michelle and Scott were easy to communicate with and answered any questions I had.. Check in and check out was a breeze. We were all pleasantly surprised at how spotless and well kept the house was. Also the tasteful shore themed decor added to our vacation experience. 2 minute walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to the main drag and shops/restaurants. Great house in a great location. Neighbors were friendly as well. Would recommend.

Perfect family getaway house

We had a great stay at Michelle’s house. House is perfect for a family and you can’t beat the outdoor back area. Michelle was so easy to work with and extremely responsive. She also provides beach chairs, tent and pack and play for young children. Backyard also has a lot of toys for kids which kept our kids entertained. Hope to rent this house again next summer!

Love Lavalette!

We all enjoyed ourselves tremendously on vacation. This house had everything we needed. House came with beach badges and lots of items not usually found in rentals. Loved the outdoor shower and the cute sun room in the front of the home. We would definetly rent here again!

Just the best!

When you say “Down the Shore” this is IT! Michelle’s beautiful beach house is just what you want to experience for a fun family beach vacation. Just an easy 3 minute walk from a big deep and wide golden sand beach during the day and a mile long boardwalk for an evening stroll is to enjoy heaven! Looking forward to renting this home year and year in the future. :)

Great beach vacation

very nice house only a few houses from the beach and fruit stand is just down on the corner. very clean - owners keep things well maintained. lots of room to have a large family without stepping on each other. kitchen is well stocked and equipped. central a/c is perfect fo rthose hotter days outside in the rear is the best deck and tiki bar you can want. there is a small kids play area the outside shower is just right for returning from the beach or just cooling off. the owners are great - they make you feel like you have known them forever!

best summer vaca ever

great place only a few houses from the breach and near everything food, music, entertainment, the house is a place you can relax and enjoy inside and out on the rear deck and tiki bar with a small kids play area. the outside shower is a plus for returning from the beach or just cooling off. kitchen is very nice with everything you need the owners are the best people you could ever want to work with, it almost seems like you have know them forever! spacious parking.

Terrific getaway for me and friends!

Property was great. Loved the outdoor shower and deck. Bedrooms were outfitted nicely and the kitchen had all the necessities.. So close to beach!

Perfect Family Home!

Our "larger" family rented this home for (2) weeks this past summer and it was an amazing experience! The house was in perfect condition and was exactly what we needed, we never felt on top of each other. The backyard (and Tiki Bar!) were the perfect size for relaxing at the end of the night after a great beach day. The beach and restaurants/ice cream are within steps of the house. Michelle was so easy to work with and super responsive to any/all questions we had along the way. I would absolutely recommend this property! Don't miss out for a perfect family vacation!

Wonderful well stocked and cared for old house near the beach great for families & kids

Six adults and four kids stayed for a week, plenty of beds and room for all. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes pots pans etc, suggest add a large frying pan. Owner Michelle very helpful, don't hesitate to ask for anything special. Rooftop deck, a place to escape. Back patio nicely furnished and great for entertaining, with an outdoor shower good for coming home from the beach. Lots of parking in driveway which is a big plus on an ocean block in Lavallette. Convenient location to walk to the beach, shopping and restaurant.

Loved the location. Very clean and inviting.

Loved the location, a very short walk to the beach. The house was very clean and inviting. The owners were awesome and great to work with. They provided all the little touches that made it feel like home. Would stay here again for sure.

Great house!

This property was exactly what we were looking for in a beach house. Steps to the beach and a close walk to restaurants and stores. The house is extremely family friendly and our kids loved it. Michelle was great to deal with and made sure our stay was perfect.

Perfect Lavalette Rental!

This property is the perfect Lavalette Beach rental! The owner was welcoming from the beginning. It was large enough to sleep 10 adults comfortably. Central AC was a huge plus as it was very hot and humid that week. The location was perfect!! the house is about 5 or 6 houses from the beach on the ocean beach block, so very convenient for walking back and forth to have lunch and take a break from the sun. Ortley Ave is at the very beginning of the beautiful residentially lined boardwalk in Lavalette. This meant that the beach there had less traffic. The beaches are pristine and Lavalette takes great pride in keeping them that way. The house came equipped with everything we needed! There is a great front porch that allows for a wonderful ocean breeze , an upper sun deck on the back that allows for an evening ocean breeze and a beautiful view of the night sky and moon. We were lucky enough to be there for the full moon! The back yard had a deck and tiki bar and the outside shower was a life saver upon returning from the beach to rinse off all the sand. It's the perfect place to make family memories that will last a lifetime! PS... There's a great farm stand at the end of the street with fruits , vegetables , homemade breads and pies ! The quaint downtown Is all within walking distance! We will definitely be going back !

A relaxing beach house experience.

This house was fantastic! We came with a house full of kids and adults and there was room for all of us. The house is very kid friendly, laid back, and the back deck was fantastic. You are less than a 5 min walk to the beach without needing to cross the street. The beach was pristine and relatively quiet. The owners are incredibly responsive to any questions or issues. We would absolutely stay again!

My husband and I made a last miniute plan to rent a beach house for a long weekend thinking that we might not be able to get a place but this property proved us wrong. The house had a good size 5 bed rooms, a living room and kitchen. All drawers and cabinets were filled with everything that we needed! Location of the house was perfect, just 6 houses away from the beach. We really liked an outdoor dining area which was perfect for a grilling and resting after a long day under the sun. The owner responded to all inquiries very quickly. We would love to re-rent this house next year.
