We’re sorry to hear you felt this way, but we do want to clarify a few points for accuracy. We did not ask you to clean the floors; however, the condition they were left in went beyond what is considered reasonable after a stay. While most of our guests leave the home in good shape, there are occasional exceptions, and unfortunately this was one of those cases. The additional cleaning fee reflects the extra work required to restore the space for the next guests. Regarding the garage, the information is in our listing, we recommend to all our guests to review and read the description for a clear understanding of the space. We’ve not received prior complaints about this or about the sidewalks, which are maintained by the city. We strive to provide a positive experience for all guests and maintain a high standard for the property, and we stand by the decision in this case.

As noted in our listing, street noise, trash collection, and neighborhood activity are part of the area’s character. We do provide dish towels and our team supplied them when you informed us. Additionally, air conditioning is available for rent during your stay, which is listed in the property description.
