My favorite stay when I visit Auburn. I’ve been staying here off and on for a few years and the place is always clean, the hosts are always responsive, and it’s a great place for relaxation!

Bill and Judy are super sweet. I had a few hiccups with VRBO and same day booking, however Bill made it as easy as possible. Once we made it to the house it was even better then the pictures. From the kitchen to the rooms, and kids room we had a great time and would loved to return one day. Thank you Bill and Judy you are the beesssst!!!

Exceptionally clean home. Secluded surroundings, yet close enough to the freeway.The house had all sorts of special touches & pampered to a great family stay.Beautiful wildlife setting.Would highly recommend this house!

Quiet 4th of July

This is the perfect spot for those who need a quiet retreat from the loud illegal fireworks. The property is as described so my service dog and I spent a relaxing 4th there.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

Wonderful and relaxing. The wildlife is always around, from the birds to the deer they are fun to watch. Playing pool late into the evening was lots of fun. The house was also very clean and the backyard deck was comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting Steve and his guests. They were the perfect travelers, we could not even tell anyone had stayed in our place. We were happy they enjoyed themselves and we look forward to any future visits. We refer Steve to all other Air bnb hosts, and welcome him back anytime!

This is an absolutely lovely property to stay at if your in the area. We were visiting my wifes family for 9 days and the house had plenty of towls, toilet paper the good kind to not cheap stuff, we stocked kitchen and games for the kids the property was well maintained and left nothing to desire. We enjoyed it so much we hope to use this propety everytime we come to visit. The hosts are very welcoming and are there for any needs. Communication was excellent. You absolutely cant go wrong renting this property.

Weekend Unplug

This was a wonderful property! The wildlife is abundant and we enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds, deer, quails, woodpeckers, and the stars in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

Peace & Quiet

This is a nice place if you're looking for something in a rural setting. The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great for kids with the play area and bunk beds. Small town of Meadow Vista is only a few miles away and has a market and a couple of good restaurants. We enjoyed the wildlife and walk along the canal.

Home away from home!

We were very blessed to find this beautiful gem during our 2 week evacuation from our home during the Mosquito Fire. There were 5 of us and our 3 dogs. Bill & Judy were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They not only shared their home but also shared their bounty of vegetables from their garden. Every morning and evening you could sit out on the deck and enjoy nature...the birds and families of deer that frequented. The home was cozy and had everything we needed...just like home. We would stay here again and recommend this home to out friends and family. Thank you again Bill & Judy!

Great house, great location, very friendly hosts

We (myself and two friends) had a great 5 night stay, and look forward to coming again in the future. The home has a very new appearance (most likely recently renovated) and is extremely clean. The home is nicely furnished and comfortable, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the main part of the home and a third bedroom attached to the game room (converted garage with a pool table and other games). The home also has a very large porch on the backside of the house that has outdoor tables, chairs, a shade awning, and a propane grill. From the porch we often saw a family of deer (including several baby deer) and many birds. There is also sliding glass doors from the living room and the primary bedroom that go out to the porch, and provide great views of the property and wildlife. When we first arrived, we noticed that the hosts had left us chocolates and walnuts (from their walnut tree) on the kitchen table. As we settled in more, we discovered that the hosts had also generously provided items in the fridge and cupboards (such as drinks and brand-new condiments). The hosts were extremely friendly and quick to respond if we had any questions about anything during our stay. The town of Auburn, which is only a short drive away, is a cute historic town that we plan to explore more during our next visit. Additionally, the vacation rental is only about a 1 hour drive to Lake Tahoe, so it’s easy to take day trips to visit the lake and surrounding areas (which are beautiful!). Overall, I highly recommend staying here, we had a great time.

We could not have asked for a better experience with our first Vrbo guests! Angelo and his friends were celebrating his birthday during their stay, we found out and brought them pie from our local orchard-bake shop. As hosts of our wildlife preserve, we were very pleased they had a chance to experience all the animals protected here. They were a lovely group, very neat and tidy, their dog was very well trained and enjoyed the stay as well. Overall, they are wonderful people, we were so pleased to meet them and have them stay with us. We recommend Angelo and his friends to all Vrbo hosts, they left little to no footprint at all upon their departure.

This property is such a gem! It's located in the country but is a short drive to shopping and other services. Wildlife around the property is abundant, as we saw deer, lots of birds, and a family of grey foxes. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfect for small family gatherings. The pool table was super cool and we appreciated having a washer and dryer in the kids room. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the property.The hosts were great! They were very attentive and easy to reach via messaging. They even let us pick blackberries from the bushes on the property.We loved staying here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
