Welcome to Palm Paradise, an inviting vacation home with a private heated pool five houses from Palmetto Ave Beach! This rental has four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The living area has plenty of seating for you and all your guests to relax, watch tv, and discuss Anna Maria Island activities. The fully equipped kitchen has island seating and opens into the dining area, where you and your guests can delight in homemade island-inspired meals or the best Anna Maria Island take-out. The poolside dining area and screened-in lanai are perfect for enjoying the tropical breeze and freshly caught seafood on the grill.

Catch up on much-needed sleep in the primary bedroom, which has a spacious closet and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom offers guests a relaxing place to unwind and has an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The third and fourth bedrooms are ideal for young or single travelers, and each has TVs for evening entertainment. There is a hallway bathroom with a shower and tub combination perfect for refreshing after a long day of Anna Maria Island activities. There is a washer and dryer to keep vacation attire fresh.

This home is managed by AMI Accommodations, an Anna Maria Island property management company.

The best location

Great location!!!! House was as advertised. AC worked well, furniture/ beds were very comfortable. With that said a paint job and a very deep cleaning would have went a long to address a high level of beach grudge!

Spacious bungalow with easy walks to local businesses and the beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious bungalow which was only a short walk from the beach and from local businesses. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool during the day and in the family room at night. The house was well equipped with linens, kitchen appliances and utensils. Communications were quick and easy with the hosts.

Perfect!!

We have my girlfriend band her kids along with my sister and nephews. This house was perfect from head to toe. Pool was a great add on. I highly recommend this house. I can't wait to come back.

Bigger than expected

There is a lot of room here, and it is a nice place to stay. The only issue I had was the pool being described as heated. Eventually, the pool was warm enough to use, but there wasn't a clear way to control the temperature. I was told it was heated based on the outside temperature which doesn't really make sense to me if it is actually heated. Again, we could use it, so not a big deal.

Perfect location

Obviously right on the beach would be even better but who can afford that on AMI? The beach was an easy walk for everyone, even my 5 year old. The only complaint I have is the beds were all very hard. My spoiled bunch (including myself) had a hard time sleeping on them. I think maybe a leaf blower would be a nice addition to the property to easily blow off around the pool daily. It really was a great vacation. It’s the first vacation in 13 years that my husband wants to go back to!

Palm Paradise

Palm Paradise is in a great location within a 2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful Gulf beaches in Florida. Sunsets are amazing! The house has a great layout with a very nice heated pool and a few minute walk to several restaurants, and shops. It is an "Old Florida" style, single floor house(No stairs, great for young kids and old knees). It has been well renovated but furnishings are showing their age. The home owners provide lots of beach towels, beach toys and beach chairs, I would stay here again.

Dryer

Great place. No dryer available till Wednesday. One set of towels each. No dryer to dry. The first day they came on Monday. Removed the knob with no explaination. Took till Wednesday to have working dryer. Disappointing. Everything else was perfect.

Great Location - Needs Refreshed

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Palm Paradise. The location is fantastic with many restaurants and Pine Ave close by, and the beach is super close! There is definitely room for improvement though. All upholstered furniture needs to be cleaned or replaced, bathroom towel hooks and TP holders are not secure and become dislodged. The hot water tank is quite old which resulted in below average water pressure and temperature. There was a notice for free access to the Community Center which we tried to use and turned out to be completely invalid. Some better cleaning and attention to detail will make a big difference to this already nice house.

Spring break 2022

Location is awesome! The unit is a little outdated with some of the furniture but if you plan to spend most of your time at the beach it’s perfect to go relax and go back and forth to house for food, drink and facilities.

Great location, super dirty though

Let me start by saying Anna Maria Island is my favorite place in the world. Also, I have never written a bad review in my life. The location of this house is amazing and the house itself would be fine, but it was so unbelievably dirty that I spent most of my time cleaning! The shower drain was clogged up so badly that the stench took up half of the house. The property manager did send someone out a couple of days to try and fix it but it was so clogged that they did not have any luck. Everything felt like it needed to be washed, swept and disinfected. And we are not Germaphobe type people! It really stinks because this house is in the perfect location and could be so nice. But we will find a different house next time. 😞

The location can’t be beat for a perfect beach week!

This property couldn’t have been in a better location for what we were looking for out of a vacation! Just steps away from the beach, restaurants, bike rental, ice cream and the best breakfast place on the island! The outdoor shower & pool were perfect after a day at the beach. Lots of rooms and beds and a large living room with a view of the pool, so perfect for a family! The only negative about the property is the pretty outdated / worn furniture, but all expected with any pet friendly property. They had tons of beach towels, beach chairs, extra blankets, washer/dryer and everything we could have needed in a kitchen for the week! Also - the property management company was amazing at answering any questions we had and was SO friendly. If we plan another AMI beach week, we’ll definitely be staying here again!

Palm Paradise is in Paradise!

Large and roomy, a few things the property owner should fix or replace (back patio table, bottom drawer in fridge, screen door in front - spline coming loose). You have to be very careful with the glass shower door in the bathroom, if it opens too far you can hit the granite counter top with it. But loved the location, great pool, steps to the beach, white soft sand, walking distance to a beach bar/restaurant and who could ask for more? The island is beautiful with lots of activities, safe for walking, biking, and golf carts galore! We loved it and will return!!!!

Furniture needed

Everything was really good with the house and pool and location. It had a great room setup. Our only gripe was the fact that it needed new furniture in both living rooms. Lounge chair in the front living room is broken and the other furniture is just worn out. The back living room sofa you can feel the metal bar in the middle of your back on both sides when you put your feet up. Beds were good through out. The overall rating is 4 stars NOT 5 stars because of the furniture.

Not clean

The location of this house was wonderful, but the condition of the house left a lot to be desired. In the last 5 years we’ve been coming to Anna Maria I can’t help but wonder if we are ever going to be renting a house that is clean and not all beat up. The pool was great but the house itself had dirty walls, filthy baseboards, dirt marks on all the doors, the floor was disgusting, overall it was NOT clean. It seems that whoever cleans these places, no matter who we are renting from seem to have selective blindness to dirt. I’m paying thousands of dollars and the places are not clean. With what everyone is paying to rent these places I cannot believe that the owners & the agency’s can’t afford to clean these places properly. On top of paying thousands we had to buy our own cleaning supplies and spend several hours of our VACATION trying to get the place as clean as they should have. The vacuum cleaner was a piece of junk, the towels were worn & tattered, there was no hair dryer even though there were instructions to leave the hair dryer and “rules” posted on the fridge to please help out by stripping the beds & put in a load of laundry! Seriously??? We were supposed to be on vacation! I seriously think that the city of Anna Maria should introduce strict ordinances as to keeping these places clean. It’s our tourists dollars that are pouring into Anna Maria, the owners and the realtors. Give us clean homes!

Great location and the home was very nice.

Overall the home was very nice and the location was great. The kitchen had everything you needed. Lots of room in the house. Very close to the beach and trolley. The house was clean, however, some of the furniture could use a deep cleaning. Some of the beach towels need to be replaced, too. Other than that the house was great and we had a great time.
